The rooms are due for renovation. We got 2 rooms. The carpets in the rooms are very old. 1 of the room has this misty smell. The beds are still quite ok to sleep. Though rooms are outdated, the staffs services were excellent They were friendly, very approachable. We have a lot of packages and the staff Stephen Meng extended his help with bringing down and booked our shuttle. Also the cleaner Monday was helpful with getting the bed guard and kids items for us.

The stay was pleasant with the facilities and the staffs. Without that, looking at the rooms, surely will not be recommended.

This hotel is idea from anywhere you wish to go. The staff is awesome in giving you the utmost attention when needed. Breakfast gives you a large variety of food to choose from. The rooms are excellent and very sound and safe. JANE LUO was very helpful and charming to speak to. She ask if there were any concerns during my stay and I advised her everything was great except that the laundry was a little on the expensive side. I didn't believe 6 T-Shirts, 9 underwears, 6 socks would be to be a little over a 100 US dollars. She said she would address this issue to her department. No need to find a bank they will exchange your money for RMB which was very convenient. Most cleark staff speak English. But other than that, its a great hotel if you desire class, elegance, location and good staff.

Be aware of the elevator music!

Like last times I just hate the load music in the elevator. Completely annoying by hearing \"For Elise\" (Beethoven) in a simplified and horrible version - and hearing this 3 times in a different state - as the hotel has 3 elevator and you can hear all three.
Other than that, I really like the hotel.

One of the better hotel in the area. Staffs were great. Very attentive service. Even the service in the cafe restaurant where they served breakfast and dinner buffet was great. Xiao Luo and Xiao Lai in the restaurant was very polite when I asked to pack some food to go for my daughter because she’s sick and was staying in the room. Five stars for service to all the staffs

The staffs at the hotel were courteous and polite. The minute you pull up to the hotel, the staffs are already standing by to greet you and get the luggage. The check in process was easy and the staffs were professional. Even the staffs at the dining area serving breakfast and dinner were super nice and attentive. They always make sure you were satisfy and have everything in place. Louis and Camilla were especially friendly and attentive. Always greeting people with a smile. Love the casual and friendly atmosphere. Even the hotel manager Linda stopped by the table and talk to customers asking for feedbacks and suggestions for improvements, making sure expectations are being meet. Thumbs up for the entire staffs in this hotel. Nice and enjoyment experience and will definitely come back to stay when in the area.

Whenever i Go to China i always stay here at this hotel.The hotel is very clean and convenient. The Breakfast is amazing the bar lobby is Awesome they have my favorite beer on tap. First room smelt of smoke even though non smoking room. They moved me and this room also smelt of smoke and had a really damp smell and feel to the room.

This is the BEST Crowne Plaza out of Guangzhou, Shaoxing, Hangzhou, and Qingdao. The rooms are extremely clean, staff are nice, tons of places to eat nearby. Amenities are very limited because this is more of a business focused hotel near the airport. Once again, extremely clean rooms and I would definitely stay here again. I wish all the Crowne Plazas were like this one. This Crowne Plaza had such a clean room it could definitely pass for a 5 star hotel. Bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was exquisite and clean, and surrounding areas had plenty of places to eat.

I first stayed at this hotel 2 years ago. There was still lots of construction all around the hotel. On this trip all construction is completed all around hotel. Many stores and restuarants near hotel. Best of all a new subway station in front. Only drawback was pool area was fenced in, with no axcess to exit for stores behind hotel. Otherwise service and stay was excellent.

Excellent stay. This is the second time I have booked at the hotel as the staff are very helpful and they have everything you need available. As I go for business they have free buses running to and from Canton Fair daily. There is also a good selection of shops right behind the hotel for food and general snacks.

Great location to airport, Friendly staff that speaks english, Excellent morning buffet, brand new Subway station right outside front door of hotel, All Brand new restaurants just built all around hotel- MANY food choices walking distance. Perfect location just outside of the downtown hassle, but with all the amenities now. I started coming here 4 years ago and there was nothing here but the hotel property. NOW, the area is all built up with everything all around. Even a Brand new McDonalds ready to open very soon.!!!! LOL

Hotel is 15 mins via shuttle bus from airport. Near their train system and also the staff spoke English well enough to communicate the requirements. I had to get their help to book a taxi from hotel to my business meeting which they gladly helped to arrange well.

To be fair, I only stayed overnight. However, my bedding smelled like Chinese stir fry, which made me wonder how clean it was. Also, I called the hotel to inquire about the airport shuttle and no one seemed to understand what I was saying and I did not understand what they were saying either. I decided is was better to just take a taxi and avoid the grief of asking the staff questions.

I got in at 0700 in the morning. Check in was at 1500. They charged me the full price for the 7-3 time. The price was higher that Expedia’s price, but I couldn’t sit in the lobby with my luggage all morning.

Arrived Guangzhou through domestic flight to stay one day in order to take another international flight, hotel was clean good and close to airport. be aware of some construction activities in the area which might be disturbing during the day .
hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
shuttle bus take you to airport and to close shopping center
in front of the door new subway station links you the the city underground network.

Great hotel, Close to Baiyun Airport, has shuttle TOO Airport from Hotel, But Limited shuttle from AIRPORT to hotel. Usually take taxi. Only ONE restaurant, which has nice morning buffet( always buy breakfast ONLINE, twice the price at hotel to pay cash) Other than that nothing else to eat in Hotel, has dinner buffet which is pricy. There are about a dozen restaurants walking distance,,,(500meters) and 24 hr convenience Store.

This hotel is good for the businessman or a family who are staying here to stay in huada, It is close to the hotel and there is a free shuttle bus to the airport every hour. But there is no service to get to the hotel from airport which is annoying coz the taxis will try to rip you off, the fee should be 50 RMB but u will get quoted no less than 200 RMB.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were helpful when asked of anything. The food is not accommodating for muslims like me, no halal option, there is some veggie options but not my kinda thing.

Room service was ok, If you want to order indian food make sure to request for the indian chef to cook it, if he is on a day off, DO NOT ORDER. It was really bad taste when he was off.

Overall I would visit again if i just wanted to be in HUADA, but if you want to visit main town, either book the Pullman so u can use metro service or any hotel near the main city.

Service by the hotel personal was excellent and continued to check on us during the stay.
a Guest Service Agent Kiyo Shek was very concerned that our Business trip was good and that we were resting well after a hard day.
I told him, service like that was exceptional, and he was manager material, and would be manager of a Crowne Plaza Hotel someday!
I have stayed at the Crown Plaza Guangzhou several times and I am never disappointed.

Modern Hotel in China

Hotel offers so much its hard to list everything, but this hotel have been one of my best stays. Staff is so friendly and go out of their way to serve you. The hotel restuarants offers mouth water cuisines to satisfy everyone taste. The lobby lounge bar serves a great selection of coffee and juices, along with mini pastries. If you are looking for clean western hotel with a asian theme, look no more this is the one.

The hotel is in great shape, close to the airport and very convenient as an arrival spot. A nice transition between west and east, offers both Chinese and western food. Service was attentive and most of the staff I encountered spoke English or made a big effort to help find somebody that would.

I stay here regularly on my trips to Guangzhou. Close to Airport, great western breakfast. There are quite a few NEW restaurants just a short 2 block walk from hotel. the whole area is building up , so lots of new buildings. The subway is being built right in front of the hotel, so soon you will be able to take subway to downtown and to airport .

Husband and I are pleasant surprised how clean, nicely/updated and the bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Wish we stay a bit longer to take advantage of the beautiful pool and gym. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

I've stayed here a number of times as this hotel is close to Guangzhou Airport. Room was nice and as advertised, free shuttle to airport. The hotel had a nice singer / band playing in the evening for restaurant and bar patrons. Staff were friendly!

Pool open till 11Pm and it was nice to swim at 10pm and cool off in the warm evening. There was a lot of construction all thru the night On the property behind hotel, as they were working 24 hours a day. It would get noisy at night sometimes.
