My initial impression was that it is a decent enough hotel. Room a good size and the staff welcoming enough. My opinion of the place increased over my staff. I was impressed by the female staff, including the housekeeping staff, mostly. Probably because they could speak English far better than I can speak Korean. Always with a smile and eager to help make my stay better. I was impressed that the laundry facilities were free, including detergent. Irked my the fact that there is only one elevator but I didn't mind walking down the stairs from the 7th floor (never walked up).
The girl is on a main road and although the rooms have decent sound proofing, there is the occasional blast from a car horn to contend with but the view of the beach was the reason I picked the hotel. I wasn't disappointed

Slow elevator and odd shared building entrance with other businesses in the building. I’d stay here again to explore the beach and the many businesses around.

The hotel is in a great location, across the street from the beach. The cleaning staff are wonderful and the rooms are well stocked with toiletries.

The elevator can be quite slow, there is only one that is shared with another hotel.

Only spent 1 night but really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful they even upgraded our room from city view to ocean view for free upon arrival. The room was great and the view was beautiful. Hopefully when I return to Korea and visit Busan again I’ll will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location,enjoy seaview room on a good budget

Booked the sea view room and got a nice view of the beach. The front desk team are friendly. There are several hotels in this tall building. They all share 1 common lift. So waiting time for the lift is quite long. Also, room aesthetic wise, room has full grey office-like carpets, instead of wooden flooring as seen on the hotels pictures

1) Service - Excellent
Reception is really kind and helpful. Some speaks good English while others do not. Nevertheless, they will try their best to overcome the language barrier and help you.
Tip: Download Papago app and use it to do short sentence translation.

2) Facilities - Not the best but works
There is one washing machine and one dryer for guests to use at no cost on the 5th floor. Note that you need to bring your own detergent though.

3) Location - Good

4) View - Superb
The hotel is next to the beach. In fact, you will have good view of the beach from your room (if you chose the beach facing).

Cons
1) There is only one lift serving like 10 floors so I suppose during peak period, one might have to wait a while?
Note: During my 4 nights stay there, I could always get into the lift though. But I could be just lucky or it was not peak season.

2) My main complain would be that when you shower, the whole floor including the toilet area would become wet as they are connected and drainage is not fast enough.
However, it could be just us who like to keep toilet area dry.

Conclusion
Still, I enjoyed my stay there and would choose that hotel again if I need to be that area as it is definitely very value for money.

It is in a perfect location right across the street. It’s not your typical hotels. It’s more like a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. Concern is cleaning crew walk into rooms without a request for cleanup. I love the wet bathroom and toilet but a power outlet needs to be available near the sink and Ali’s a counter for a waterpik.

The hotel was easy to find and in an excellent location.
The room had a fantastic view of the beach, and I enjoyed being able to open the window.
It was my first experience with a room that used the keycard to provide power, so it took me a while to get used to it. It also took me a while to figure out how to operate the toilet, but I learned quickly.

The bathroom was incredible, The shower was the best in the world, in my experience, and it looked very nice!
I love the provided closet, the coffee, fridge to hold my insulin in, and a great big TV!

It's a perfect size room and most importantly, the customer service was AMAZING. The manager and her employee were extremely nice and easy to talk to!

I loved my experience here and will come back here anytime!

This place is right across the street from the beach. There were LED lights set up on the for Christmas that you could read and see at night from the hotel room. We rented 2 rooms—same price and listing, but one was definitely bigger than the other. Parking was easy! There's a parking garage at the entrance. We gave them our car, they gave us a ticket, the front desk put a stamp on our ticket, and it was free when we picked it up. There is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. It's a little weird, the hotel is located on a few of the floors of the building, with other businesses (and another hotel) occupying other floors. You have to walk into the building, then take an elevator to the right floor, to get to reception, but after that, it was all very easy to get around. There is one small elevator for the building, so it was quite busy during check-out. We took the stairs. The front desk was helpful and friendly. There are robes in the closet and the toilet seats heat up. Overall, would definitely stay here again. Great location, good price, and all you need for a relaxing Haeundae Beach experience!

The hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable with a nice seaview. We stayed on the 8th floor which was high enough for a lovely view and a quiet night. The only thing that bothered me was the electronic toilet, it kept flushing & cleaning itself at random in the middle of the night. Other than that the location was great, very busy area with a lot to do & see.

I can’t really ask a lot , when you don’t pay a lot. It has a nice view from window but cleanliness of the room was ok . Can’t say it was dirty but little things like hole in the wall or sink licking water could have been fixed. Our biggest issue was that windows didn’t have screens, my wife can’t sleep with AC on
, so if you leave windows open you will get a lot of bugs even with lights off. Big plus it’s cheap for location and so close to the beach.

So I stayed there for my birthday in May and had no issues. This time I was in a room on the 8th floor and the AC made such loud noise, I couldn’t sleep at all. I had to turn it off and open the window , but then the mosquitoes bit me all night. A very unpleasant stay as I could not rest at all.

The hotel has a nice view of the ocean and many good restaurants within walking distance. You get what you pay for when you stay here. The only issue I had is that there was two of us staying in one room and housekeeping would only leave one bath sponge, one toothbrush, one of anything. Luckily we had our own toiletries! All in all it’s a good hotel, good location, has free parking!

Regrettable Lack of Service

The location is excellent. Unfortunately the air conditioner would only blow out warm air so sleeping was next to impossible. I went to the front desk to ask for assistance, but it was closed and there wasn't a number to call for help. The morning receptionist was not interested in allowing me to have a late check-out so I could get some much needed sleep. He also did not come to look at the air conditioner, even though he spoke English and clearly understood what I was telling him as he repeated what I had said back to me and stated he would check the air conditioner later. In addition, the water coming from both the shower and bathroom sink smelled like moth balls which was very off putting. I would not stay here again as there are so many other affordable and convenient options in the area. It was my first and last stay at this property.

Check-in was kind of difficult because the front desk was confused about bed sizes. She kept saying twin bed is same as queen size bed. We eventually got the room we booked for and everything was good except the rest room: it has no divider between toilet and shower. View was nice. The beds were comfortable. Overall the hotel situated in the best location in Busan. Public transport is very convenient. Plenty of eateries places. However the only sideback is the hotel room only provide 2 plug points. You may have to bring an extension if you have to charge phones and other electronics devices.

Ideal Place in Haeundae

My 86-year-old mother and I had a wonderful stay at the MS Hotel, a small, reasonably priced and yet ideal hotel in Haeundae, Busan. The staff were very accommodating, kind, courteous and smiling, especially to my mother. They spoke basic English so communication was not a problem. They also gave directions as to how to go to places via the subway which was located nearby.

The location was perfect: just a stone-throw away from the famous Haeundae Beach which could be seen with breathtaking views through the hotel room window. We got to see the spectacular fireworks festival from the Diamond Bridge in the comfort of our hotel room. There were numerous Korean restaurants, convenience stores and Korean cosmetics stores in the neighborhood. The Haeundae market and Starbucks reserve were also nearby. Just across the hotel was the Busan Aquarium. The hotel could be easily accessed via taxi. The subway train was located a leisurely 5-10-minute walk away.

Our room was very clean, with functioning air conditioning system, hot shower, fridge, and free wifi. The bed, pillows and blankets were very comfortable. Breakfast was complimentary: just the basic... bread, egg, fruits, milk, etc, but with overflowing, 24-hour hot coffee.

The MS Hotel gets our approval and recommendation. My mother and I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

It's location, just a stone throw to Haeundae Beach, airport express bus stop in front of hotel and the friendly service staff makes a wonderful stay in this hotel. Simple breakfast but adequate to last till lunch. Besides, the breakfast room gives the best view of Haeundae Beach. Dongbaekseom Island is just a 15 mins walk along the beach. Ms Soonhee and her friendly make staying at MS Hotel a joy.

Fantastic view of beach, ocean, and city lights. Convenient location. 1 min. walk to beach and sea life aquarium. Clean room, friendly staff. If you're used to the limited amenities provided in America you'll be impressed by all the additional amenities that come with the room. Ie. Of course coffee, 2 bottles of water a day, hairdryer, plus combs, toothbrushes and paste, razors, umbrellas if it rains, etc.etc. Great deal for the price!

Fantastic view at a great price! The ocean and beach are right outside your window. You can also see the city lights and the lighted bridge. Room is clean and comes with all the ammenitees you need. Great location! Sea life aquarium is right across the road and the street market and colored fountain synchronized to music is right around the corner. Such a nice hotel with beach view! Locate in the same building with nuri hotel, room size is OK, comfortable and clean enough, coffee corner and microwave provided 24hrs at the lobby, mini on the go breakfast at 7-9 am, complimentary bottles of water, and refrigerator in the room. Prime location, locate just opposite to SEA LIFE and the Haeundae beach. Restaurants, Cafe, convenient stores, shops, and etc. are all around. Worth a money! Parking available at the nearby location for overnight guest, tell the staff at the parking lot downstair. Impressive stay with ocean view in such a friendly room rates.

The cons is that the bathroom, no curtain or any partition that saparate wet zone and dry zone in the room. Some amenities provided. Water temperature isn't that stable.
