Annoying smoking guests & tiny parking spaces

This is a hotel you can escape from Shanghai and spent a weekend .

Very crowded parking lots, and guests smoking freely in the hallways are the major issues. You would also not expect any western food in the breakfast.

Has it all

Enjoyed the stay, nice staff, good swimming pool, good (but expensive) restaurant.

However, good restaurants are in the adjoining mall if you like Shanghai food.

KFC, Golden Arches, Dairy Queen a 5 minute walk if you need a American.

The adjoining mall has many stores of all types

Tesco grocery store behind KFC for staples and practical gifts.

The rooms were very nice. The bed was comfortable. The laundry service excellent. I'll stay there again in the future.

The hotel is nicely furnished and clean. Few of the staff speak English, but I was generally able to get my message across. The air conditioning in both my rooms on two different stats did not work well. In both rooms I could not get the temp below 24C even at night. This left me sweating all night and I got little sleep.

Great Hotel and Staff

I had read some reviews after I made the booking and was a little worried about what I was going to be confronted with. Let me assure any reader, the negative reviews are so far from reality.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful and helpful and overcame the language barrier. My room was better than expected and very comfortable. The breakfast is an absolute must. Best I have had at any hotel.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff.

a nice basic good hotel. Pool a little crowded. That's my only complaint. Great Mall beside it. Breakfast was good too. Large selection of food.

Poor hotel conditions. Close to shops.

The interiors are old and greatly in need of renovations. The air-conditioning doesn't work and I'll pity those that are staying during summer. The fridge doesn't work either!
However, it's close to the shops in a convenient location.

Value for money? NO!

Dissappointing room and response to feeback

Had stayed in hotel before and found if good but this time there was a smell of smoke in the room despite asking for non-smoking and there was a constant banging noise adjacent to the room. I highlighted these items at checkout but got no response from staff.

After 4 nights of asking for a solution to the hear, we finally checked out a day early. It was oppressively hot, impossible to sleep. Room service was appalling. Staff tried to be helpful but had nothing to work with.

Great Option in Songjiang

I have stayed at the New Century several times. It is a great place to stay for business in and around Songjiang. The rooms are large, clean and well designed. The hotel has numerous dining options and is connected to a small mall with shopping, more dining and a Tesco grocery store. Whenever I am working in the vicinity, this hotel is my home base. It never disappoints.

Good base for visiting local factories.

Positioned outside the city it is a long way from any of the recommended tourist attractions. However if you should be doing business in the area it is a pleasant hotel looking out over a park and greenery. There is a mall directly behind the hotel with a wide range of eating opportunities.

Great hotel for tourist and business travelers.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The service was excellent. It was great having the shopping center right outside the door with many options of local restaurants and western style restaurants.

朝食会場以外はOK

清潔で快適なホテル。ただ、朝食会場が混みすぎていて入れなかったのと、別会場は用意されていたものの入るのに長蛇の列で並び、箸や食器が足りず、コーヒーマシンもうまく動作せず、さらに大テーブルに相席で落ち着かない環境でした。

1泊ですが利用させて頂きました。部屋自体は綺麗ですが、喫茶店は、絨毯やテーブルは汚れてて不衛生感がありました。少し年数が経ったホテルなので中国では仕方ないかもしれません。

挺适合亲子游的，酒店地中海餐厅餐食不错，而且还有个较小的游乐场，但是孩子玩的还是很开心的，另外门口就是开元商业中心，吃饭什么的都很方便

상해 송장구에 있으며 근처에서는 가장 꺠끗하고 옆에 대형 쇼핑몰이 함께

송장은 상하이의 대학 5개가 옮겨온 곳으로 대학촌이라면 알맞은 지역이다. 그곳에 있는 호텔 중에 유링한 5성급 호텔로 구석구석 찾아보면 지저분한 곳도 있으나 욕실도 훌륭하고 함께 있는 쇼핑몰에는 다양한 샵들이 있어서 편리한 곳이었다. 단지 일부 직원의 불친절과 부데서비스는 한국과 다름없는 가격으로 부담스러운 호텔임

ホテルから直結してショッピングモールがあるので買い物に便利。また、24時間のファミリーマートもあります。ただ、私はこのホテルを良く利用するのですが、年々、汚くなって来ているように思うし、部屋の備品など壊れていてメンテナンスをしないといけない部分があります。

Songjiang New Century Grand Hotel Shanghai

Quite good area with shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel is somewhat worn down, breakfast restaurant not very fresh etc. Breakfast itself also not bad but also not great, think the hotel has less international guests. Check in took quite some time despite being the only guests there at the time.
Air condition could not really lower the temp in the rooms during the period when outside them was high.

很棒的飯店。三樓可直達旁邊商場，非常方便。服務員都很專業。迎賓的先生很有禮貌。房務員，13樓的吳房務員和周房務員都特別細心。早餐可以吃到多樣蔬菜，對於在外旅行的人很適合。

객실과 식당이 무척 마음에 들었습니다. 특히 식당의 아침식사 메뉴와 식당의 이테리어가 매우 흡족했습니다. 단, 주차가 매우 불편했습니다. 호텔 입구에 부작위로 주차된 차량이 많아 차량이 들고 나는데 너무 불편했습니다.

Only if location dictates

This hotel is horrible beyond explanation. I have stayed there many times, and only reason for staying there is location (to where I have to attend business, and the fact that it is located in a fairly good mall with good selection of restaurants, Chinese and Western).
The rooms smell, the bathrooms are full of mildew, the carpets are not only stained, you will have to look for the carpet in between the stains, the general condition of walls, wallpaper, electric installations etc is horrible.
If you need to be in this part of Songjiang then it can be a choice, but otherwise there are great international chains with much better offerings at same or lower price.

투숙객이 너무 많은 호텔

호텔시설을 제대로 활용하지 못할정도로 사람이 많았고 단체관광 손님과 일반 투숙객이 함께 공통된 공간을 사용하기 때문에 많이 불편했다.숙박만 하기에는 괜찮은 선택이다.

Poor internet speed

Perfect location doing busines, good comfort, clean and good breakfast. Would have been a 5 star if it was not for the very poor internet connection. It is impossible to work before after midnight because of very poor speed.

綺麗で安心感があるホテル

駅から遠く徒歩で行くのは難しい。松江大学駅からタクシーに乗っていけば１０分程。
ホテル内部は松江という田舎を感じさせない綺麗さで安心感がある。
朝食は中国式ビュッフェで食べられるものとそうでは無いものに分かれるが、概ね悪く無い。
夕食はビュッフェスタイルが２００元と高く、日本料理も味はあまり宜しくない。
部屋は大きく清潔。隣の声がやや聞こえるが気にはならないレベル。
ホテルに隣接するモールにはスタバやマックもあり、モールを抜けるとＴＥＳＣＯと言う大型スーパーもあり、水やお茶の確保も容易。
場所を考えれば悪くないと思える。
