As a lower end hotel it was partly as expected but rooms were very small, cramped and there were hairs in the bathroom. We were not informed of check out time and as we left early our unpaid bar bill caused problems. The redeeming feature was actually the bar maid. She was helpful and friendly, while the other staff were rather miserable.

Hotel is a little 'tired' looking. Everywhere was clean but fixtures and fittings are old and rooms need decorating. The room balcony was a good size but had standing water in the water guttering. Staff were very friendly; breakfast had a good selection of food and the breakfast room was very clean.

The staff were helpful but the room was very small and there was an unpleasant odour in the bathroom. Breakfast was adequate but we were unable to get a coffee at 10.00pm. Our impression was that the hotel guest areas and bedrooms were in need of refurbishment and updating.

On arrival at 9pm the reception was closed and a note said that bar staff could check me in, however there were no staff in the bar. Eventually I found a member of staff and was checked in.
My rooom was small, tired, grubby and smelled. Room facilities were very basic (no tea/coffee or toiletries). The room was very warm and couldn’t be cooled down. I had the window open all day and night, but with heavy smokers on the balcony below, it soon filled up with smoke - not nice.
The restaurant and breakfast was ok.
The general decor felt like it had not been updated since the 1990s. Everything looked worn and tired. It is in need of a refresh.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Immediately after booking they were quick to respond to correcting a booking mistake from my end. The staff was also friendly and helpful from the arrival till departure. For instance, we could use the shower facilities from the fitness area after checkout and a last visit to the beach.
We had a family room. It was a spacious room with sufficient place for our 5 member family. The room did not have airconditioning however, and it was therefore very hot on a hot summer day. Opening the windows was met with cheers from the local mosquito population. Insect screens would have been of help. On the second day the staff provided a table top ventilator, which was also appreciated.

A good value near Bruges
Felt this hotel offered excellent value. It's convenient location to Bruges by car was important; however, it was located conveniently outside of town. Beach areas were very interesting to compare to other areas previously visited. Room were small, but clean. Restaurant service and food was excellent. Nice stay

When we found the hotel we were a bit disappointed as we expected to look out and see the beach/sea when sitting on balcony, but all we had was a large bank in front of us across the road all the way along the beach,for miles, presumably a sea breaker. How ever, the hotel was good, food good, rooms ( comfy room) was quite small, not too good for long stay as we only had 2 nights and we were there early November so in the peak season maybe ok as you spend most of the time out. there was nothing immediately at hand i.e towns,shops, e.c.t. without a lot of distant traveling,and being o,a,ps,

I had a great time staying here for two nights. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. We dinned in the restaurant three times and the food was delicious! This is a great place to stay if you want to relax near the beach and get away from the city for a bit.

Tolle Hotellage; freundliches Personal; gutes Frühstück. Leider sind alle Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten besonders viel Pech mit unserem Zimmer. Das obligatorische Dünenbild über dem Bett fehlte, dafür war die Tapete stark verschmutzt. Die Matratze von den Betten war durchgelegen. Einige andere Zimmer waren in einem besseren Zustand. Eigentlich unverständlich, da man mit wenig Farbe die Zimmer ohne großen Aufwand verbessern könnte.

Leider ist das Hotel sehr alt und ungepflegt. Schaut man sich die Zimmer und die öffentliche Bereiche an, ist es schmutzig. Ist bestimmt mit den wenigen Mitarbeitern nicht möglich dem Ganzen etwas mehr Sauberkeit und Ordnung zukommen zu lassen. Die 80er Jahre sind da stehen geblieben.

Hotel is erg gedateerd, staat van onderhoud ronduit slecht. Verfwerk overal slecht, schimmel in de badkamer, WC pot en wasbak gebarsten plak en knutselwerk om gebreken te verhelpen, maar 1 nachtkastje, geen voorziening om bijvoorbeeld een telefoonlader in te steken. Jammer, het ontbijt en personeel wel prima, maar overall veel geld voor de staat van de faciliteit.

Een oud hotel, hele kleine kamer, balkonplaten vies, geen haken voor je jas aan de muur, tv alleen 1,2,3, aan de receptie stug, fietsstalling niet overdekt, geen koffie-thee apparaat op de kamer, eten in het restaurant matig en de kip echt niet goed. over de 100 euro voor een nacht voelt voor dit hotel echt niet goed. ik heb nog nooit een mening gegeven aan een hotel, maar voor verbeteren kan het hierbij helpen misschien. wij waren er een week.

Heel vriendelijk personeel en deed alles om het naar onze zin te maken ondanks dat er flink personeelstekort was! Kamers en hotel ontzettend toe aan een flinke opfrisbeurt, ontzettend gedateerd, wel schoon! Locatie is wel prima alhoewel er weinig te doen is in de buurt van het hotel.

We waren overgeboekt naar een ander fletcher hotel. Geen zwembad, niet aan zee en geen ontbijt terwijl dit er bij het andere hotel allemaal wel bij zat. Het was vies, oud en veel dingen waren kapot. Het was super benauwd in onze kamer en de airco deed het niet. Ook hadden we koud water tijdens het douchen en kregen we niks terug ter compensatie.

L'hôtel est situé au Pays Bas tout prêt de la Belgique et tout près de la mer. L'endroit est un peu isolé mais agréable. L'hôtel mériterait d'être rénové (peinture intérieur et extérieur, douche etc....) et l'ascenseur peut faire paniquer mais sinon rien de catastrophique! Les chambres ne sont pas aussi minuscules que ce je j'ai pu lire mais il y a un manque d'équipement (frigo, bouilloire pour thé ou café etc....), la sdb est petite mais correct ! Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié, le parking est gratuit (gros point positif) le personnel est plutôt avenant (en dehors d'une femme de chambre désagréable) et malgré son isolement, l'hôtel n'est qu'a 35/40 mn de Bruges ! Il y a le petit patelin sympathique \"SLUIS\" qui n'est qu'a 10 mn (pour faire un resto ou faire des courses et même se balader) et a 20mn il y a la jolie ville côtière Knocke-Heist. Pour conclure je le conseille mais uniquement si vous avez un moyen de locomotion (ne sous estimé pas son isolement) et que vos moyens sont limités. Je dirais que c'est un bon rapport qualité prix mais une rénovation le rendrait EXCELLENT.

Leider ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, für 2 Nächte OK - Das Zimmer im 1.OG war sehr warm bei 22-24°C Aussentemperatur, Badezimmerlüftung nicht wirksam daher sehr schwül im Zimmer. Badzustand - renovierungsbedürftig - nicht mehr Zeitgemäss. Der Preis war normalerweise viel zu teuer - ohne Hotel.com Bonus hätten wir das nicht gewählt.

Séjour, vraiment décevant. La chambre était vétuste, cela sentait mauvais malgré la fenêtre ouverte. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt hinter den Dünen gelegen, einfach toll. Aber das Hotel ist in einem schlechten Zustand. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer. In dem Zimmer hat es gestunken und der Teppichboden war übersäht mit Flecken. Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr begrenzt und konnte ebenfalls nicht überzeugen. Die Marmelade und der Schokoaufstrich hatten keinen Geschmack, die Müsliauswahl beschränkte sich auf 3 Sorten. Wir waren Gott sei Dank nur drei Nächte da und das Wetter war so gut, dass wir ständig draußen waren und uns nur zum Schlafen und Duschen dort aufhalten mussten.
