Excellent hotel with good service. The only hiccup was a rather weird expresso martini obviously made by someone who had never made one before. That is the only thing that kept it from top marks. O and a bit mean to have to pay for parking!

Rooms with a view.

The hotel lobby and reagtaurant are excellent. WIFI was free and easy to connect to. Food in the restaurant is excellent although the menu is limited. The rooms are a little dated but acceptable.

We usually stay at the Amadore when we visit Zeeland. Seaside rooms offer great views of the beach and ship traffic. Solid Dutch breakfast. Very clean, modern rooms. Parking in a lot, close behind the hotel.

Very nice sea front hotel

A nice hotel and if you get the sea view, its quite lovely with the view. I found the staff super - helpful and kind so when you were in lobby etc they came up and offered drinks or if you wanted anything.

The rooms were very clean and only feedback on room is:
- the doors SLAM . . so get those door return dampers renewed.
- foam pillows are not nice
- more power sockets. We travel with a lot of stuff for powering nowadays. One of the best hotels I stayed in had a USB charger by my bed, which I think is the way forward.

Breakfast was good, very good in fact and again, service at breakfast was perfect.

Parking, park at back of hotel, my car was scratched quite bad on the narrow boulevard road at the front.

We paid for the Standard Double room with the City View. In our special requests we asked for the upper floor. The lady at the reception was not exactly welcoming and the room we got was on the 1st floor with the small window and with the view of the air conditioners. We were listening to their noises all night long. So, we tried to stay in the room as little as possible.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

Had a room with a view

My only issue i had was i need to go back through bank statements because I am positiive it was paid for but i had to pay again when checking out. I will apologize if i am wrong but if i have to claim a refund it will still incur extra bank charges.
The breakfast was very good.

Very friendly hotel

We stayed at Amadore Hotel Restaurant Arion whilst attending the HZ university Open day. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and even in February, you could sit outside in the café/bar warmed by the fire pit on the table and a blanket over your knees drinking hot chocolate and watching the world go by.

Nice hotel right at the beach with great views

the location is great ,at the beach and boulevard, ships are pasing by so close you can almost touch them.
A ten minute walk takes you into town with plenty of nice restaurants and bars.

Great Location

Stayed for the second time in this hotel. If we'll return to Vlissingen we'll also book this hotel. The location is perfect either for walking to the beach or the city. Breakfast is more than adequate. The restaurant is a bit pricey for the quality of the food.

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk maar je voelde dat er iets niet klopte. Het draaide op enkele vaste medewerkers en de nieuwe of vakantiejobs waren nog niet ingewerkt.gelukkig dat ikzelf mijn afrekening in het oog hield of ik zou dubbel betaald hebben door een computerfout. De mosselen waren ondermaats klein. Dat was spijtig . Het ontbijt was lekker en voldoende. De aandacht en de voorziening voor mensen met een handicap is zeer goed

Nadeel : veel lawaai 's morgens door het onderhoudspersoneel. Verschillende personeelsleden spreken geen woord Nederlands en doen niet de minste moeite om een basis te spreken.
Erg voor het moederland van het Nederlands en onrespectvol naar de Nederlandstalige klanten.

We vinden de ontvangst al fantastisch en met name de upgrade van Ronald de hotelmanager die zichtbaar de touwtjes zeer goed in handen heeft.
Uitstekende bar en dinerzaal met erg lekker eten.
De junior suite was fantastisch met een waanzinnig uitzicht over de Westerschelde.
Hele fijne ervaring gehad in Arion vlissingen.

De huishoudelijke dienst was uitermate vriendelijk. De kamer was netjes en met een vrij uitzicht over de stad.
Fijn groot bed, maar het tv zender aanbod was zeer beperkt. Er is echter wel een grote bioscoop op steenworp afstand ter compensatie.
Jammer dat er geen plek is om je fiets binnen te stallen.
Ontbijt was goed.
Het grote terras aan de boulevard is top. Heerlijk buiten eten of een drankje doen met uitzicht op zee.
Restaurant Marina vond ik wisselend. Kwaliteit is niet slecht, maar als ik een maaltijdsalade bestel verwacht ik geen lunchsalade met een minibroodje zonder boter oid. Had gelukkig nog wat fruit op de kamer liggen. Jammer ook dat mijn klacht over de salade niet serieus door het personeel werd opgepakt.

Stoelen op de kamer niet comfortabel. Vrouw loopt met kruk, is slecht ter been waardoor de entreetrappen moeilijk te nemen obstakels waren. Plaatsing van afvalemmertje in de badkamer op een niet logische en zelfs onhygiënische plaats gemonteerd. Tegen de toiletpot ter hoogte van de bril.

Das Hotel hat auf den ersten Blick eine gute Lage mit Blick auf das Meer. Dies ist jedoch das einzige positive Merkmal. Sowohl unser Zimmer, die Loby und auch das Restaurant sind erheblich renovierungsbedürftig. Auf dem Flur (in der Nähe unseres Zimmer) stand ein Trocknungslüfter, der die ganze Woche Tag und Nacht Lärm verursachte. Es zog in unserem Zimmer, weil die Terrassentür undicht war. Die Tapete löste sich teilweise ab. Es wurde oberflächlich sauber gemacht. Der Bezug der Sessel löste sich an nahezu allen Sesseln auf. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war nur durchschnittlich. Am Wochenende gab es z.B. kein Spiegelei. Die Auswahl war begrenzt und es wurde nur zögerlich aufgefüllt. Dieses Hotel ist das mit Abstand schlechteste Hotel, welches wir in den letzten Jahren gebucht haben. Der Preis von 200 Euro für eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück ist schlicht eine Unverschämtheit. Ich kann nur jeden warnen, in diesem Hotel zu buchen.

Schöne Strandlage

Unser Hotelzimmer war bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen, so dass trotz geschlossenem Fenster der starke Wind im Zimmer deutlich hörbar war. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist wunderschön. Es ist spannend, die Frachtschiffe zu beobachten, die erstaunlich nahe an Hotel vorbeifahren. Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel auf Ebene Eingang nur für Suitengäste verfügbar. Alle anderen müssen das Gepäck die Stufen bis zum Eingang hochtragen. Es stehen genügend Parkplätze auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel zur Verfügung (zahlungspflichtig von 09.00 - 21.00, Euro 8.50). Restaurant und Bar im Hotel vorhanden, Frühstück gut.

Nette kamer, modern en schoon. Zag er netjes uit. Ik heb wel een aantal punten.
- vond de omgeving en soms in het hotel zelf erg luid.
- parkeren is helaas niet zo fijn geregeld. Wij zijn 1 week daar geweest en elke dag betaald om te parkeren.
- het laden van een elektrische auto was een beetje vreemd geregeld. 3 uur mag je laden en daarna moet je 18 euro betalen😳 als je daar blijft staan.
- ontbijt prima geregeld maar wel weinig personeel waardoor je merkt dat ze geen tijd hebben voor het aanvullen van de koffiezetapparaat.

Als het wat drukker is in de omgeving kun je niet meer in de buurt van het hotel parkeren. Als je gezellig met je partner wil slapen dan is het niet prettig om met los beddengoed en matrassen te liggen. Voor de rest een super fijn verblijf gehad :)

Wer ein Hotel direkt am Strand sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Lobby ist sehr schön und bietet viele Sitzgelegenheiten. Unser Zimmer und das Bad waren relativ groß und auf den ersten Blick ganz schön gestaltet. Wenn man genauer hinsieht ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auf unserem Zimmer selbst (Doppelzimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick) gab es einen Minikühlschrank, Wasserkocher,Tee und eine Kaffeemaschine. Der Balkon ist leider sehr klein.
Es gibt im Erdgeschoss des Hauses eine Bar und auch die Möglichkeit eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Nichts besonderes, für uns war es perfekt. Für ein Wochenende am Strand ist das Hotel vollkommen ausreichend. Wir würden das Hotel auf jedenfall nochmal aufsuchen. Preis Leistung top. Wir waren im April da, da war der Strand nur mit Hunde Spaziergänger besucht. Kann mir gut vorstellen das der Strand im Sommer mit Badegäste gut besucht wird.

Beim Eintritt ins Hotel ist die Empfangshalle hell und freundlich. Sobald man aber in die oberen Etagen zu den Zimmern gelangt, verschlechtert sich der Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind ok, jedoch nicht für ein 4 * Hotel.
Fenster schließen nicht dicht, Türen schlagen extrem laut zu, sodass man nachts fast aus dem Bett fällt. Ein absolutes No-Go. Mit der Sauberkeit wird es auch nicht so genau genommen. Aufgrund des dunklen Mobiliar sieht man die Staubschichten genauer. Es wurde nur drumherum gewischt, wenn überhaupt. Lage direkt am Meer hervorragend, besonders Zimmer mit Blick zum Meer. Es gibt nur 3 deutsche Fernsehprogramme. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass man auf deutsche Besucher nicht so recht vorbereitet war? Frühstück fanden wir ok, obwohl das Mobiliar zu wünschen übrig ließ, teils zerfetzte Sitzflächen auf der Bestuhlung. Dafür wurde man aber mit Blick auf das Meer entschädigt.
Fazit: Man merkt, dass Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend generalüberholt werden.
Ich glaube nicht, dass wir nochmals in dem Hotel buchen würden, obwohl die Lage einzigartig ist. Eigentlich schade!

The Hotel is in a fantastic location, with beach access, excellent. However, the beds are not comfortable at all.
And the service/hospitality is below average. Room cleaning was poor, and the check-out by the receptionist man was terrible. Very unfriendly, careless, and disrespectful. His service was the most shocking, and he was very proud of his behavior. He should be put through etiquette training.

Ik vindt het een geweldig hotel met wat punten die verandert kunnen worden. Airco op de kamer werkte niet. Niet genoeg handoeken op de kamer. Kamerdeur die hard dicht klapt. Mogelijkheid tot de sauna was er niet en er was geen duidelijke beschrijving hoe er gebruik van gemaakt kon worden. Met de prijs van de kamer verwachten wij deze wel.
Hopelijk wordt er hierop gelet.
