The basic room is not just basic but tiny, with a ‘loft’ bed reachable through an impossible tiny and ‘don’t get out of bed in the middle of the night’ stairs and no head space at all. More important, sleeping that close to the ceiling means one hears every sound made in the room above as well from as the reception across the hall. The bed is comfortable though and the people truly lovely, so best to pick a better room.
