Das Haus entspricht einem 3 Sterne Hotel. Man bemerkt, dass das junge Team dabei ist den Standard zu verbessern.

In hotel Kijkduin hadden we een standaard kamer. Die is vrij klein en best wel gedateerd. De bedden zijn voldoende.
Toch straalt het hotel een gezelligheid uit, juist door de vriendelijkheid van de mensen. Tel daarbij op de uitstekende ligging dichtbij het centrum en de zee.
Ik kan dit hotel alleen maar aanbevelen. We komen ook nog wel een keer terug maar nemen dan geen standaard kamer.
Toch straalt het hotel een gezelligheid uit, juist door de vriendelijkheid van de mensen. Tel daarbij op de uitstekende ligging dichtbij het centrum en de zee.
Ik kan dit hotel alleen maar aanbevelen. We komen ook nog wel een keer terug maar nemen dan geen standaard kamer.

Sehr gemütliches Zimmer, schönes Bad mit Dusche. Morgens gibt es ein sehr reichhaltiges leckeres Frühstücks-Buffet, Eierspeisen können eigenständig zubereitet werden. Sehr gute Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten zum Strand. Supermarkt fußläufig zu erreichen. Sympathischer netter Empfang.

Aus anderen Zimmern haben wir regelmäßig Lüftungsgeräusche gehört. Und dann das absolute No-Go: Schimmel in der Dusche. Wir sind sofort zur Rezeption um den Schimmel anzusprechen, aber dort wurden wir dann \"vertröstet\". Angeblich sei es bereits behandelt und nur noch \"optisch\" und wird sobald das Zimmer frei ist übermalt. Wir konnten den Schimmel aber riechen, es ist nicht nur optisch! Geduscht haben wir dort nicht. Wir haben den Schimmel bei der Abreise nochmal angesprochen und es wurde sich noch einmal dafür entschuldigt. Die Entschuldigung hat zwar nichts an den Tatsachen geändert, dennoch klang sie sehr aufrichtig und von anderen Zimmern haben wir auch gehört, dass diese renoviert und sauber sind.
Wir hoffen einfach, dass das Zimmer wie uns vom Hotelbetreiber mitgeteilt wurde in der Nebensaison wenn es ruhiger wird renoviert wird und somit andere von dieser Erfahrung verschont bleiben.
