I absolutely love staying at Max Beach Resort. The rooms are incredibly spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is beautifully equipped with high-end appliances. I especially appreciate the large refrigerator with filtered water and ice, as well as the stainless steel cookware since I prefer to avoid nonstick pans.

Another feature I love is the oversized in-room laundry area, which makes it easy to wash towels during the stay or leave with fresh, clean clothes at the end of the trip. The balcony is also amazing — large, comfortable, and designed with clear glass railings that provide unobstructed views of both the ocean and the city.

The amenities truly make the experience even better. The hotel offers a well-equipped gym, a stunning rooftop with breathtaking views, a beautiful poolside bar area, and plenty of loungers to relax in. One of my favorite parts is the bike rentals, which I always take advantage of so I can ride along the beach while enjoying the birds, the sound of the waves, and the warm ocean breeze.

Every stay feels peaceful, relaxing, and memorable. I’m always a little sad when it’s time to leave.

This is probably one of my favorite hotels I have stayed in on Daytona Beach and we go every year. It was so nice. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The view was outstanding.The staff was super kind and helpful all around amazing and def would stay again! We like to switch hotels every year when we go to Daytona but I honestly don't know If it gets better then this hotel.

I had such an amazing experience staying at this resort. As soon as I checked in the front desk woman was very friendly and welcomed me with a smile. I stood 3 nights and we celebrated my mother-in-law’s 70th birthday. The views from the room were spectacular and all the amenities were wonderful. I needed extra towels and toiletries and they were dropped off immediately to my front door. There is a fee to park each night of $25 which is reasonable.

We came to Max Beach Resort last August and truly enjoyed ourselves. We decided to come back but unfortunately this time we were dealing with a traumatic family emergency that happened with my Mom during our stay. The staff was super helpful with us having to continue to book another night; we were taking it day by day and kept having to book additional nights. Luckily we never had to move rooms and anything we asked for, we received, even if it was out of their norm. I can’t think the staff enough for their understanding and compassion during this time. The gym is great and so are the other amenities on the property. My only complaint (that I didn’t even mention because it was the least of my worries at the time) was the dust. Our room wasn’t as clean nor free of dust from the first time we stayed here.

The rooms are amazing, the housekeeping is really good. Just expensive and not totally forthcoming about extra fee for the property when you book & pay online it isn’t until you get there you will find out that before you can even get to your room you will be charged for parking and will be charged $250 for just in case something happens even though they have no reason to assume someone will do anything to they’re property & the elevators to go stairs is horrible just use the stairs to go down it’s faster but overall 9 out of 10

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We stayed for three days on the last weekend of Jeep Beach weekend. We stayed in rooms 201 and 202. 201 was on the corner and had a nice view of the beach, however, 202 was a little inside, but still a great view. Overall, the property was excellent. We hope to reserve a stay next year at the same time for Jeep Beach week, the cleanliness the staff everything from reservations from top to bottom was an absolute pleasure. The parking garage was amazing a safe place to keep your jeep and also a safe place to remove tops and doors for Jeep Beach. We were a little saddened to hear that the property may be sold as time shares or as personal property, we are hoping that we can work out a deal for next year again absolutely amazing place stay was great. Weather was great. Staff was awesome. Very helpful and kind bartenders and everybody and even security was absolutely amazing. Stellar resort thank you Max resort staff.

I can’t say enough about Max Resort. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. It was right on the beach with a nice pool and jacuzzi. We watched the sunset from the rooftop lounge and the staff at the bar were very accommodating and was Miles,our bartender was very talented and entertaining. Parking was never a problem. The staff was so nice and helpful. We left and forgot to take some expensive hair tools from the bathroom draw. When we called from New York, they made it very easy to retrieve our items. I highly recommend Max resort.

Everything from first to last was amazing. We're coming here from now on. Staff was friendly and helpful, they had almost everything you could ever need. Our only tiny gripe was weird missing things. They have a ton of pots, great knife and cooking space with a pitcher... But no blender lol. No oven mitts. Weird stuff like that. It's not even a complaint though because everything was so, so lovely. Thank you guys!

This was our first time staying at this resort. And I can tell you now it won’t be our last. The staff was friendly upon arrival. The property is really clean & in a great location. It was on the more quiet parts of Daytona Beach. Extremely easy check in & check out process. Our stay was during Jeep Beach, and I took all my doors & tops off my Gladiator. And it was so convenient to have the underground parking area to not have to worry about weather conditions. And it secured with gate access only. The room was perfect for just the 2 of us. Full kitchen, great living room area (the couch wasn’t that comfortable) bedroom & bathroom were clean & very large. Pool access was great, big pool with plenty of seating & was also very clean. Overall I’m very pleased with our stay, and can’t wait to stay again. This will be our go to resort every year for Jeep Beach.

We loved our stay at Max Beach Resort. The view from every room was beautiful. The living room patio doors open all the way up making it fee like outdoor living. Parking was very easy. The location of the elevators in the building makes it a really quick trip from the room to everything from the beach to the rooftop terrace which was key for our trip with small children. Staff was lovely and helped immediately if we needed any assistance. The only con was that the kitchen could use more items (sheet pans, knives). We would stay again without question!

The Max is our go to place in Daytona. We love staying there. The rooms are very spacious, right on the beach. Plenty of seating outside.. my only complaint/suggestion would be to bring your own trash bags. They will only give you two at a time and they are very, very thin and rip very easily. You are better off just buying your own.

Everything was as expected. The beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed in the condo, and the resort amenities were great. We loved the 12th floor. The only cons: there were some kitchen items missing (forks, bowls, etc.) and the door to one bedroom wouldn’t close without lifting & pushing it shut.

We were lucky to get a two bedroom room on the first floor. There were two story ceilings and a large walkout patio that had direct access to a large recreational area. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer in our room. There were some dishes, but the collection of items was very odd. There was some silverware and random glasses, pots and pans, even a pizza tray, but absolutely no plates. Close by, there were places to eat. We were there off-season so this area was not crowded and was quiet. There was music out by the pool with the beach bar. We were there for a tournament at the convention center which was a little far away, but only about 15 minutes. Parking at the hotel was free, but that did mean we had to pay to park at the convention center. Hotels closer to the convention center did have more restaurants, but also more people. I would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms were great it was more of the side front ocean facing. It was not what I would call full ocean view. We loved it. However, at check in someone at the resort had canceled my reservation and there was a problem with the money showing refunded. I have not yet received a copy of an itemization of the cost. Not really happy about that. When I went in the lady said it was canceled I should her the booking and she said oh it is with Expedia I see the problem. Then, she said it was nothing to do with Expedia that someone there had canceled, that it showed active with Expedia. I had not ever attempted to cancel. I don't really know what that was about. I became concerned at that point. The lady was very nice at the desk and said she would take care of it. The pricing was a little different than stated on the reservation. I think perhaps it will work out the same in the end. However, I don't really know because I haven't received a copy of the bill. Would stay there again but would definitely confirm reservations with the resort before traveling.

Great room. Great staff. The food was awful. I kept ordering different things because I just could not believe it would all be that bad. Chicken sandwich, like mid Wendy’s. The fries cold and gross. The funnel cake fries I had to throw away. $18 breakfast burrito small and tasted like Hampton Inn free buffet. The burger was ok.

This was my 3rd stay here over the past year. We’ve always been welcomed with smiles and there’s never been an issue with our family driving over to visit during the day.
Something felt different on this stay, which was even more surprising given its winter season and the place was half-empty.
The staff wasn’t as friendly, my requests and effort to communicate with them was treated like an inconvenience. Lastly, we were treated like we were in a maximum security facility. No more than 6 people on the property at a time. Well thank you for making my family feel that they were no longer welcome.
I booked 2- nights and left after the first to accommodate time with my family.
Unfortunately, this used to be one of our favorite places to make family memories when I visit from up north. Unfortunately I wont be back and will never recommend a friend to spend their money here. How you treat your guests will determine your success.

The condo was very large and spacious. There could be some more attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness, baseboards need a wipe, some crumbs in kitchen. Dishwasher soap door would not open. The staff were very friendly and genuine. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The kids loved the game room on the penthouse floor.

The staff was very welcoming upon check in. The view from out room 702 was outstanding. had multiable floor to ceiling windows to take full advantage of the view of the water / beach/city view. It had a full kitchen. The 12th floor was really nice the twin huge balconey's and game rooom. The staff at the bar were great. Speacial shot out to Savanna who acted like a local tour guide. We will stay here again on our next visit to Daytona

My boyfriend and I always stay at the Max when we do a staycation, and the staff and the room was always wonderful, I booked a two bedroom, ocean view, and it was partial view at best, and when I asked the woman at checkin if we could have a higher floor room, she seemed so uninterested in helping or trying to accommodate us at all, we were on floor 4, and all we heard was road noise the whole weekend, the windows in the room was dirty, we checked in and the room was set to 80 degrees, I don’t know if the Max has been going through something, but it wasn’t up to standard I always expected and received from them. Probably won’t stay there again.
