Home Hotel Helma is located in the heart of Mo i Rana, providing wonderful accommodation in a homely setting with a theatre, cinema and shopping centre just around the corner. You’ll also find plenty of experiences in nature within easy reach.
You’re sure to feel right at home with breakfast, fika and dinner served every day as part of an overnight stay. The hotel is located right in the centre of Mo i Rana, within walking distance of numerous shops and popular cultural attractions, such as the theatre and cinema.
The hotel is surrounded by fantastic nature with great routes for walking and jogging. If you have a car, you’ll also find fabulous places in the mountains and by the sea just a short drive away.
This includes the Tjuvtrappa, about 15 minutes away, offering stunning panoramic views of the Ranfjord. The popular Marble Castle (Marmorslottet) is just under an hour's drive from the hotel, a fairytale landscape of carved marble formations eroded away by the river over thousands of years.
The hotel has a modern conference centre with meeting rooms for up to 100 people, providing the ideal setting for teambuilding meetings and larger corporate gatherings. You can either use the conference venue as one large hall, or divide it into two smaller spaces for up to 60 and 40 people respectively.
The meetings rooms feature technical equipment including projectors. If you fancy a good workout, head to the hotel gym at any time of day or night.

Home Hotel Helma has focussed on making working travellers and overnight tourists as welcome and as comfortable as possible. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, the food was healthy and delicious, with lots of fresh produce. A special shoutout to Victoria, who went out of her way to make our stay special. She had great advice about where to find things and an excellent short walk to stretch the legs and get a great view of Mo I Rana. Reckon she would be a great hotel manager, as she referred us onto other great Strawberry Hotel Group properties. So charming and clever with an eye to growing the business. You are fortunate to have such great staff. Thanks for making our stay much more than we could have hoped for, after the long uncomfortable bus ride to get there, while the trains are out of action.

We had a comfortable stay. The stardard was good both in reception, room and dining area. Good focus on cleanliness considering covid 19. Not too busy when we stayed there either so it was easy to keep 1 meter distance. It was definitely a major plus there was an evening meal included in the price. No need to look for restaurants.

Loved everything about this hotel. Friendly welcome, convenient location, nicely furnished and immaculate. Added to which there was a great breakfast, fabulous dinner buffet (included in the room rate) and afternoon waffles and it would be madness to consider staying anywhere else! Loved it so much we added a second night to our stay!

Hotelloppholdet var som vanlig meget bra, men maten på kveldsbuffet begynner å bli litt skuffende. Das Essen war geschmackvoll und reichlich. Leider lässt sich die Temperatur auf dem Zimmer nicht regeln. Auch die Klimaanlage lässt sich nicht regeln. Somit pustet die ganze Nacht die Klimaanlage auf das Bett was ich als sehr unangenehm empfand.

Helma er blitt besøkt 1 -2 ganger hver sommer når vi har vært på gjennomreise i de siste 10-15 årene. Dessverre har middagsdelen blitt mindre attraktiv i år (mindre utvalg og ingen dessert eller ostebord). Personalet er også mindre oppmerksomme på å rydde av bord.

Strålende hotell i Mo i Rana. Både på telefon og ved innsjekk var resepsjonistene av ypperste klasse. Rommene er fine og rene. Koselig atmosfære!

Väldigt bra och bekvämt hotell med mycket trevlig personal och gratis parkering. Den ”lätta” måltiden på kvällen var allt annat än lätt, med väldigt fin sallad, soppa, två alternativa huvudrätter och efterrätt. Frukosten var också mycket bra. Totalt sett en mycket bra upplevelse

Huoneen hintaan kuului afternoon tea, dinner ja aamupala. Aamupala varsinkin oli aivan loistava. Hotelli sijaitsee aivan keskellä keskustaa ja siitä on hyvät yhteydet valtateille. Hyvä palvelu ja ilmainen pysäköinti.
