This landmark hotel had a great breakfast and had many dining options within a short walk. The rooms were older style but well maintained. Had a fan available for the unusually warm weather. The gardsn area was a great gathering place for our family group of 12.short walks to shopping and water. Would love to return!

The hotel should advertise that it doesn't have AC. My wife, I and our 1 year kid couldn't sleep because it was very hot.

I asked the receptionist to extend the check out time by 2 hours while checking in. He said call in morning. When i called in morning, he sait it would cost $100 per hour.

Very poor staff. I will recommend anyone to stay here

Beautiful reception and breakfast area in the older part of the building. The room was a bit basic though and the bathroom pretty outdated with a tiny shower (though clean!).

We looked out on the parking lot so the view was not particularily interesting.

Bra hotell men kunne være bedre for hundefamilier.

Bra standard på rommet, nytt og modernt. Men uten utsikt (igjen), er dette pga at vi hadde 2 hunder med oss. Synes det er ikke greit at hundefamilier får alltid de minst attraktive rom selvom vi betaler det samme pris som andre uten hunder, plus at vi i tillegg betaler ekstra for rengjøring. Dette er systematisk i Scandic, ikke fornøyd med det. Kanskje noe dere kan ta opp internt. Frokosten var veldig bra, men nesten uten covid tiltak, gjennomføring som før covid pandemi. Stor forskjell mellom hoteller i Norge, både mellom forskjellige hotellkjeder men også internt i Scandic hotellene, e.g. Scandic Fauske hadde mye strengere covid tiltak.

Alt for varmt, men god frokost

Hotelrommet var rent og greit. Det var dog ikke ventilasjon/aircondition og det var 27 grader ute, så det var ganske så ulidelig. Hadde heldigvis en liten bordvifte, så fikk sovet litt fra 03-06. Vinduet kunne heller ikke åpnes mye, så fikk ikke luftet noe særlig. Derimot var frokosten veldig bra! Jeg har cøliaki og synes utvalget var ganske bra. Dog negativt at det er stappet inn i hjørnet ved døren, så når man rister brødet, så står man i veien for de ansatte som skal inn og ut på fra kjøkkenet for å fylle på de forskjellige mat og drikkevarene. Ville anbefalt hotellet utenom når det er varmt ute.

Overnatting i sauna...

Har overnattet flere ganger tidligere og vært tilfreds, men ble skuffet denne gangen. Overfylt parkeringsplass, fikk ikke parkert ved hotellet eller ladet elbil som planlagt. Det var ikke aircondition, men ca 30 grader på rommet og varmt ute. Forventer kjøling eller aircondition på et slikt hotell.

Kunne like gjerne overnattet i bilen med aircondition og kjøpt den flotte frokosten. Frokosten var upåklagelig som vanlig på Scandics hoteller.

Fint hotell, men lytt mellom rommene.

Fint hotell og hyggelige personale. Alt var egentlig bra bortsett fra at rommet var veldig lytt og putene var dårlige. Det at rommet var lytt er muligens fordi vi fikk et rom i gamle bygget (3 etasje). Vi var uheldige å ha noen naboer som laget mye lyd langt på natt, men uansett er dette et av de hotellrommene som er mest lytt jeg har overnattet på.

Overnatting på tur mellom nord og sør

Rask innsjekking. God seng, helt greit rom, litt trangt i dusjen på den romkategorien vi valgte…..kom sent og dro tidlig. Kunne vært bedre vasket under senga og det er noe jeg alltid sjekker, ellers rent.
Opplevde service i restauranten som kunne vært bedre, få gjester og småsur ansatt som satt i matsalen og vi måtte selv ta kontakt for å få hjelp. Vanskelig når vi ikke ser om personen er besøkende eller ansatt, og jeg liker at de som jobber i matsal og restaurant er pent kledd. Maten er vi godt fornøyd med både frokost og hamburgeren kvelden før.
Jeg vil gjerne snakke norsk på et norsk hotell i Norge.
Hotellet har forbedringspotensial.
God beliggenhet for vår tur sørover.

Alle hoteller snakker om miljøvennlighet, men ved dette hotellet, slik som ved mange andre, så skal det være utfordrende å få sikret seg et plantebasert pålegg grunna manglende interesse fra ansatte.

Helt udugelig restaurant for vegansk, bare blitt møtt med sarkasme, hånligheter, rar mat eller ingen mat, og en gang også ble jeg sjekket opp av servitør.

Vi hadde en overnatting på vei fra Lofoten til Trondheim. Vi hadde med to hunder. Renholdet var tilsynelatende bra, men vi kunne tydelig se på vår hannhund at det hadde vært hunder på rommet før oss. Gulvet kunne med andre ord vært bedre vasket mellom gjester med hund.

Ellers et fantastisk hotell med god atmosfære, vennlig personale og god frokost.

Kan anbefale hotellet på det varmeste.

Meyergården overasket positivt. Var en veldig god hotellfrokost, middagen var ganske bra og servicen likedann. Fint familierom med god plass i den nye delen av hotellet. Alt gikk egentlig smertefritt gjennom dette hotelloppholdet.

Festlighet

Ved kveldens tilstelninge manglet det glass på bordet til meg. Måtte vente på maten og jeg fikk kun to skallet av indrefilet av elg. Alt for mye stekt. Karamell sausen til desserten var kun sukker lake med litt farve og kremen på desserten var alt for søt. Kaffen manglet smak og den var kald. Med andre ord en skuffende middag.

Fint rom, men enkel standard.

Bestilte et superior rom og da ble vi veldig overrasket over at det manglet vannkoker og kaffe på rommet. Rommet var fint, men veldig enkelt. Skoskje manglet også. Hyggelige ansatte og jeg gav beskjed om dette til de i resepsjonen. Frokosten var nydelig. Perfekt bacon!
