There was perfect location of the property for those preserved foods and shopping under the a reasonable price. Although the area of the surrounding area is situated below the middle class residential area. But the high rated of police enforcement has reduced the risk of the general security. The facility in term of sanctuary and furniture are still maintained in good condition despite the room is very small.

The hotel located very close to the MTR station, and restaurants which is very convenient to my trip. The room is bit outdated. Unfortunately the floor in my room is not stuck to the floor anymore and making it wavy. But on the bright side the bathroom is very clean, and the bed get tidy every day.

Average hotel in a good location. We feel it is good value for money.
The room is quite small, however, it is Hong Kong. The bathroom is very tiny and you need to open the door in order to dry yourself with a towel.

Got our money's worth

The hotel's location is really good, it's just a few walks from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station. There are also restaurants nearby. In terms of size, the room is really small but considering that usual rooms in Hongkong are of the same size and most of the time, we're outside roaming around Hongkong, then it's okay already. We just need a place to sleep and that serves its purpose and we got the value of the money that we paid the property. The place is not expensive so we saved a lot since we got 2 adjoining rooms for us and our 2 kids. We realized we could have gotten 1 regular room and 1 room from the adjoining rooms instead of 2 adjoining rooms since the beds are single and separate in the adjoining rooms. The regular room is also beside the adjoining room so it's okay if you have kids with you. There are only 3 rooms in a floor so it's okay. The wifi is also good, I like that they are not using small plastic bottles for shampoo and liquid soap plus they also use wood as spoon and fork. They also provide new towels, slippers, and water everyday in a paper container and not a plastic bottle. You just need to ask from the cleaning ladies if you want a new towel or new bedsheet since we stayed for 5 days. There is also a mini ref inside, a hair blower, and a microwave at the hallway. There are also convenience stores around the property like 7-eleven and other grocery stores. Since most time of the day, we're outside exploring Hongkong, this is already a good hotel to stay in.

I stayed here for around 12 days. The whole building is pretty old, including a room and bathroom.
I chose this hotel because of the website and the beautiful photos.

However, the reality was terrible, the room and bed were TOO SMALL, I could not open the baggage on the floor, and I needed to put it on the bed :(

So, I have no positive review of this hotel.
I do not recommend it.

Hotel is in good location where you can experience old hongkong, numerous foodstalls around, the yau ma tei train station is just few steps away. Thats the only good part.
We booked 4 rooms of 2-adjoining rooms, we were charged 500 hkd for each room, total of 8 or 4000hkd.
The front desk male staff is extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming.
The rooms are tiny and beds are tiny too. One of the room we had was haunted, the drawer in room keeps on opening by itself. Dont go to room 209. Theres no fridge in room contrary to what was posted here in expedia.

I got bit of bed bug and allergy on this after I back to Thailand. I went to hospital to treatment on these so it not correct that I think only cheap cost to spend in hotel but should concern about clean and good quality as well.

Toilet too small it should be in world of Guinness records. There is WIFI in the room but would have been better if they let us know earlier. Wasted my data as the username is a random one and not the hotel's name. Saw many people using wifi in the lobby, guess they didnt know theres free wifi in their room. there is 3 hotel lobbies, only 1 in use.

Funny question Expedia asked me about this hotel... does it have a City View... I said yes, because I can see the street below me, and the industrial building across the street... it's a city view.

This hotel is in a great location. Not as crowded as TST, but not out of the way. Easy walk to MTR subway and buses. Easy to flag down taxi. If you are used to real local food, there's a meal at every corner.

Be realistic about the size of this hotel. Two medium luggage was fine, four would be tough to maneuver. (I paid to have two big luggage stored at the airport, since they were for the next destination.)

The price is OK for the amenities. You are paying for the location. I would definitely stay again.

The room is so tiny, it's actually claustrophobic, Two people couldn't move around the room. One would have to wait for one to walk through and the other would follow simply because we just wouldn't fit. There is no room to put your luggage anywhere. The internet was terrible. Hard to connect and would disconnect constantly. If for some miracle, it did connect, it was so slow, it was useless. The room was clean, but there flies in the bathroom all the time. Probably coming from the pipes. Also, there was a terrible, strong sewer smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom every evening and during the night.

Absolutely joke of a service, upon arrival the two receptionist felt more like thugs than front house staff. First impression was extremely hostile.

I booked the room under my English name however my passport shows my chinese name, both gave me a 5 minute lecture on what I did wrong and how they won’t give me a room. I shows them my booking reference in my phone they throw my phone back in the desk and finally let me check in, not before groaning how I should have booked properly.

I was told to give credit card deposit which I handed my card over to preauthorise,once they finish the guy just throws it on the desk aggressively almost sliding card onto the ground.

That was just the check in part, room is small, dirty, mouldy, pretty sure you can find much better for this price. 100% stay away for your own good I advise.

Gave this place a try asI was in a hurry and options were limited... The place was very shabby. My room was nothing like the pictures here. My bedside “table” was completely broken and unusable. The only good thing about this hotel was that the metro is right around the corner. Other than that, the pictures advertised online is far from the truth. My room was the size of a closet and the shower head was on top of the toilet. The wall paper was old and peeling off and the desk was old and the wood was scrapping off as well. To make things worse, the people working at the front desk were not friendly at all. It is way overpriced- the only thing I guess you are paying for is the location since it is near the metro.

I know that Hong-Kong hotels are expensive and rooms are usually smaller than in the rest of the world but in this case it is pushing the limit in both axis. Furthermore the noise from the neighbors/water/AC prevented us from sleeping and it took a good 10 minutes to get hot water.
Overall a very negative experience.

Overall a very pleasant 6 nights stay! Rooms were very clean and well equipped, though definitely small. But could make do! Have daily cleaning service too, with complimentary bottled water everyday. Location wise very conveniently located-- few minutes walk from yau ma tei mtr exit C. Also had quite a few nice eating places in the vicinity, and was very close by temple street.

I have long wished to stay at this hotel with the unique name and attractive lobby, which is made to look like a bridal suite. The reality was different; not a bad place, but not worth the money. Very small rooms, one quite slow lift, and nothing about bridal suites after leaving he lobby. It is, however, very close to teh MRT, easy to reach from Nathan Road or the subway.

Tiniest room I have ever seen

The room is minuscule, including the washroom. To sit on the toilet you need to manoeuvre around the sink, which then seems to be resting on your lap. The hotel is directly above a noisy night market that does not quiet down until 2 or 3:00 am. This booking was a disaster.

The only reason why I chose to stay at this hotel was because of its location. Night markets are near by and many good restaurants to choose in Yau Ma Tei. Honstely, the price was unbeatable but the room was too small that you have no room to open your luaages. Glad we only have one. Bathroom was in bad condition. Please consider these before you choose this place. I will say it is more like a motel than a hotel.

Located just steps from the Yau Ma Tei MTR station on the red line, and a few blocks away from the Temple Street Night Market. Really convenient location, but boy was the room small! It seems pretty common in HK to have small rooms, but this one was the smallest that I've ever experienced. If you've ever been on a cruise and seen the size of the cabins, then this is pretty similar. Great for location but not sure if I would stay here again given the size of the room.

I knew the room would be small BUT..

I booked this hotel knowing that this room would be small. The size of the room itself worked for me.. just enough room to squeeze my luggage in and just enough room to sleep on the bed.. here's the issue.. the bathroom is way to crowded. Not practical at all.. and I'm not a tall person. Even someone 4 feet tall would struggle to us this bathroom.. sitting on the toilet and your knees are pressed against the condensation drenched drain for the sink. You have to stick your head under the sink mirror to spit rinse after you brush your teeth. You're touching all of the walls in the shower and won't be able to extend your arms out.. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone for this reason. It's an issue that they definitely knew about when installing the bathrooms but seems like they wanted to squeeze in more profits.

Older hotel close to the MTR station

Our needs are pretty minimal: a clean room and a quiet place to sleep. I'm not sure if they have EVER mopped or even dusted our room, and the bathroom is starting to fall into a state of disrepair. It was a quiet place to sleep, and the bed linens were fine. There was a ton of dust in just about every corner of the room and hair from other guests.

The size is small. I'm about 5'2\" (156 cm), and the shower was difficult to turn around in, but this is probably the case for most of the budget hotels in HK. They provide body soap and shampoo but no conditioner. The bed was comfortable enough.

Also, when you enter the hotel in the afternoon, be prepared to walk through a haze from all the guests smoking outside.

I would try staying elsewhere next time.

Affordable hotel with good location

Living in the area, I've walked by countless times. When visitors come I try to put them in close by hotels so I can show them around easier. This time the budget wasn't that high so I put them in that hotel.

The Bridal Tea House Hotel is good located and has a nice and cute entrance with tables and chairs. From the inside, it looks very clean and staff is friendly. The rooms are very small - if you have never been to Asia this might shock you a bit at first - but you'll have everything you need. A small hint if you sleep very light: At night, depending on which floor you are at, noise from the streets can be heard.

Great base in the middle of the hustle and bustle

Great check in process but room was tiny, only one person can move around at a time. Room was very modern and clean. The cleaners came everyday and replaced everything. Bathroom was tiny with shower above toilet and everything gets wet in there. We are quite small people and we managed fine in the room. The area is great for shopping and street food. The night markets in one the road parallel and there's the main shops on the parallel road the other way. Easy to get to hotel from the airport..take the A21 bus (about 3.30GBP). Its really simple and the bus stops are labelled on the bus so you know where you are. Great neighbourhood to be in and good hotel as a base. You can't hear the noise from the streets below (we were on 21st floor).

Comfortable and affordable

We stayed in a room with a double bed. The room size was quite adequate. We had room for all our luggage by the foot of the bed so it was not in our way. The bed was comfortable enough. Amenities including bottled water and slippers were provided on a daily basis. The washroom had a separate shower which was great (I had previously seen a lot of places with a combined toilet and shower). By Hong Kong standards it was quite roomy and comfortable. It was close to Temple street market and the ladies' market. Also the bus stop for the airport express was right around the corner. Yau Ma Tei metro station was also very close by. The only thing was that there was only one elevator so the wait was a bit long at times. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay there again.

Tip: Don't make the mistake of eating at the Four Seasons hot pot place. It's so not worth it. The worst meal we had on our two-week trip.

Good for budget trip if you are small size

The hotel room was tiny, just nice for two small twin bed and there is no more space for 2 luggage. But it was okay for us two small size Asian lady paying for budget hotel. Liked the bathroom as the toilet bowl and shower were separated. Enough space for us to move around the toilet. However, the reception in the morning was having black face every time we saw her, didn't had smile although she is working as customer service. Location was good, would be thr again if I'm travelling with friend on a budget trip. They didn't refill the tea bags although we stayed for 4 nights. A point to take note of.

We expected to get a small room but it was a surprise that a corner room was provided, and the small space was enough for us to keep our luggage. Air ventilation and lighting was great. Beds are firm and we had good sleeps every night. Room was clean thanks to daily housekeeping.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Bottled water and disposable slippers are provided daily. Location is convenient, near Yau Ma Tei MTR exit C and Airport citybus stops.
However, we did not get what we booked for on hotels.com. Booking was for room with daily breakfast but hotel denied that breakfast is included. Wrote to hotels.com but did not get any response. Disappointed with how hotels.com and bridal tea house hotel handled the situation.

The bathroom was much much smaller than I imagined. Literally one has to sit or stand in between the toilet and the sink to shower, and there is really no room to move around. 25 floors with just one elevator. You can imagine how long that will take to go up and down, especially around check-in & check-out time. Breakfast is the same everyday. After the unsuccessful tried to cancel the remaining nights after the 1st night, were lucky enough to have the offer to change to another room with a bigger bathroom. It is on the side of the restaurant with just 5 stories high. Although the bathroom is much bigger than the previous room we were put in the 1st night, the room itself is very tiny.

The first room we got was crazy small, there was no space to fit our luggage. Bathroom looked dirty and needed remodeling. Wallpaper on the walls was dirty and falling off on the stiches. I asked for a different room, they told me that all their rooms are exactly the same but agreed to show me a different one. Second room was slightly bigger, at least we could fit both our suitcases in and had a small space for walking. And second room wasn't in such a horrible condition as the first, but still, walls and floors looked dirty, even after the cleaning that I did myself. Small for that bathroom is an exaggeration, it's tiny! I've never thought that such microscopic sinks exist! And bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner. The soap they give is 3 times smaller than any American hotel offers, and they dont replace it dayly, you get 1 soap fir all your stay. Shampoo and shower gel was the cheapest. on the bright side, they give toothbrushes and tooth paste, and every day replace single use flip flops.

Allocated hotel as a secret location deal, that would be the only way anyone would book it. 500$ cash demanded on arrival as deposit from very grumpy staff. Smells of toilet air freshener in the lobby. One lift for 27 floors. Not particularly clean room. No hot water in cupboard bathroom. Two single beds rather than requested double. Tiny barred window.

Hotel with all the conveniences

My only suggestion is hotel should have staff that can communicate in English, otherwise hotel location is close to MTR station and food which is plenty, but of course my favorite is the claypot rice shop which is just a few doors away from the hotel. And if you are someone who enjoys food, just walk to the main road and you can enjoy steam egg with ginger,,, we had it for 3 consecutive nights for dessert.

Hotel room is small but comfortable and clean.

Location and cheap price.

The rooms are miniscule. If you are over 5'8\" forget staying as the beds are so short. There is nowhere to put your bag and when one person is standing/walking around, the other person has to lie on the bed or go to the bathroom. We stayed 3 days and from day one I told the front desk about the leak underneath the handbasin which sprayed dirty water on your feet. About 8 hours before we left the leak was fixed. In the meantime I used the garbage bin to collect the dirty water. Take earplugs as the walls are paper thin and you share your neighbours' conversations. We don't speak Mandarin so could never work out if the neighbours were fighting or that was normal speech. There is only one lift so get out of the hotel before 10.30am and don't return until until after 2pm as the cleaners stop the lift on every floor and if the door does open, it is full of trolleys piled high with linen. Some of the staff have graduated from the DMV from the Simpsons.

Attitude of Reception staff borders on rude n unhelpful though lobby looks deceptively cosy n smells nice. Room size just fits in twin beds n a chair n that's it for size. Very very basic amenities. High price for such amenities.

Miss leading advertising

The pictures I saw on the website was not the room I was given. I did check in 1 day late due to a cancelled flight, so I may have lost my original room. If you care more about location and it's convenience vs the size and luxuriousness of the room, then this hotel is not a good deal. It is right next to the entrance off the subway and down the street from a restaurant that was made famous in Anthony Bourdain's No Reservation (Four Season Clay Pot).

Location is right in the heart of the action, close to local markets and transit. Kowloon is a far better destination then Hong Kong Island.

Convenient location but poor room condition

Location is closed to Temple Street which is one of the famous night market in HK. Transport is also convenient near the hotel. The room is small and the toilet can only fit one person. The mattress quality is poor.

The design of the curtains is worse. Light can penetrate through the curtain so that you can sleep from around 6:30 am. The room is extremely tiny. If you carry a large baggage, you will not be able to have any space to move around. Also I am only about 170 cm tall, but I can fit in the bed.

Budget hotel with a nice location

After reading the online reviews, I already prepared myself on what to expect and not to expect.

I like the location of the hotel which is really a few steps away from Yau Ma Tei Station Exit C. There are so many choices of food outlets as well.

The room is very small but manageable and acceptable. It's a budget hotel after all. The place is clean and really at bare minimum. But okay for a few days stay in HK since we did not really stay in the hotel long enough during the day anyway.

I am just disappointed with the wifi service as it turned to be unstable and slow which became frustrating sometime.

Great Location, but very small room.

This hotel is very well located near Yau Ma Tei MTR station. Good location. The only thing is the tight room space. On Holiday you should be out shopping, eating rather than stay in the room, therefore it is still recommended.

You get what you pay for

The location of this hotel is good, just a minute from the MTR station. There are several decent small local dumpling places that are open until 2-3 AMish. The room was very small, but everything was as advertised. The walls are very thin, though, so that's why I gave it 2 stars for comfort.

Small and no service

Given it is HK, the smallness is acceptable. I asked for extra pillows for 3 days but still nothing was given. ( I stayed for 3 nights) Had to wait forever for the only lift that was heavily utilized by the renovation work in the building. Will not go back given a choice.
