This hotel is old and run down. The bathroom is tiny, no sink space, back and forth stair climbs, 1 old chair on the creaky patio. Price gouge you at the restaurant and bar. Double charged my credit card for the room and then wont pick up the phone. Its a vampire motel w a nice ocean view. Stay somewhere else!

Property was a mess. 1st of all The 1st room that they gave me, the lock was broken and the girl at the front desk said they've been having problems with it for months. Then she told me she was going to have to find another place for me to stay, because there were no rooms available. I told them to displace somebody else who hadn't checked in yet. By putting me in a 15 by 15 room with 1 window that was about 3 by 3 , I paid for an ocean view. I went to the restaurant and it took 30 minutes before the server came to my table. I ordered a drink and calamari. It took another 30 minutes to get my drink. It was very watered down and was not even the drink I had ordered! It took another 40 minutes to get my food,
which I went and got myself! It was hard, it was past rubbery.. The server could clearly see that I had tried to eat 2 pieces and that the platter was still full. I told her the problem and she said, \"Well to you want to keep or have me throw it out \" I was dumbfounded! Then when she brought me the bill it was $40 .
I asked her if she expected me to pay for this mess and she said, \" Yes, people take advantage and try to get a free meal \"! I told her that she could clearly see that I had not eaten. She said that if I didn't pay that it would be charged to my room. I spoke to a different person at the front desk and she said sorry and walked away! The beach is not a beach. Do not stay here, it's a waste of money!!

While the location to beach, bars and restaurants is amazing , the property did not inform us of the fact that live music (DJ) would be playing until midnight and that the area is would be riddled with drunk , loud , and generally unruly crowds. Don’t expect to get much sleep on a weekend ; however, if getting your drink and groove on is your idea of fun till the wee hours of the morning and being able to stumble back in close proximity to your room you have found the ideal location. You can sober up on the nearby beach and as long as paper thin walls don’t bother you there is a great deal to be had .

There is no one at the desk to receive calls. I, nor Expedia could get in contact with reception. Late check in is not properly disclosed. As for the exterior of building and surrounding property , I was not impressed the slightest. It doesn’t appear to be well kept up. Very disappointed!!!!

We have stayed here for many years under many different management changes or ownership changes. A few years ago we stopped coming because it was getting so run down. After giving them a call and telling them of my concerns they asked us to give it another try. I have to say its a little bit improved. Not great but pretty good. Our room of course has a beautiful view. Its just little things that could be slightly better , like mold in the bathroom, or warped and banged up furniture, a chair with the finish worn off it and a lot of rust on light fixtures and stuff in the room. But it does look like they painted, tried to add some decor and all in all for the price it was okay for a night.

This was a anniversary get away for my husband and I. I was very excited to stay in a classic florida resort close to the water. The rooms online are not what you get when you register. The rooms smell like the animals they allow and the smoking they permit. There is no insulation in the rooms above the bar and no consideration to the patrons. The noise was so loud it vibrates the bed. The office manager moved us after complaining for two days that we could not sleep with the obnoxious noise. They moved us to a room that smelled like a smoke box. The rooms are not renovated, they just bought new furniture. The hotel has so much potential, but what they allow to happen is disappointing. Our upstairs neighbor brought their dogs and they barked, whined and cried all night long. The bar staff was nice, food was ok, drinks were yummy. The taco spot on the corner was great and the beach was lovely. The only poor thing were the rooms and noise. I hope they fix it soon, such a shame to have that amazing location and to have such a disheveled place to house guests. **No elevators**

Great location. Relaxed weekend. I was told there were beach lounge chairs to use, first come first served. However I found out the lounge chairs are no longer there once I arrived to the beach. Cleanliness of rooms could be a bit better. Food and location are wonderful. They had a wonderful GLOW party one evening, it was pretty nice with fantastic latin music.

The room view was great! Hotel is vintage Florida style with no elevators. We were on third floor but it gave us a nice workout. Great staff, friendly and clean.The Dune bar had nice music and the Glow party had Dancing. Great servers with good beach side breakfast. Check out Manatee Island tiki bar and The Square Grouper restaurant within walking distance. We never used our car for 2 days. So relaxing!

Very run down. The wood planks squeak and could hear every person walking by the room. The mattress was super cheap, hard, and bouncy!!! Both my husband and I could barely walk after sleeping on that awful mattress! Limited parking! Won't stay there again!

The only thing that was disappointing is that the photo's of the different rooms shown in Orbitz were completely different than the actual room, furniture's and décor. the actual room had a small table as a desk, no chair, the closet is Home depot open hanging shelf with two corroded hangers the sliding door to the balcony has a greasy oily metal rode laying in the track as a \"lock\". not what you expect to find in hotel. none of the furniture's matches and look like came off separate garage sales. towels are very small, even the shower body towels, and fabric is extremely light.
the staff was great and helpful in particular the reception and bar manager. the room needs some work as described above.

This is an older motel but well maintained, clean and comfortable. The restaurant for breakfast does not open until 8:00. We had to leave, but have heard good reports about the breakfast. Our room overlooked the ocean, so fell asleep to the sound of waves. The live music at the restaurant was muted and ended at 10:00 p.m. We did watch the sunrise. Would stay here again.

The location of this hotel is excellent. The view from the ocean view balcony was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom in our unit needs complete renovation. The bed sheets were not very comfortable but were clean. It looked like to us the locals at the bar downstairs tend to get a little rowdy but it didn't bother us. I would recommend to wake up for the sunrises over the Atlantic. :)

Go further down the road towards Jennings Beach!

The rooms look way better online. The room we stayed in was horrible. Stains on headboard, walls, floors. There was Mold on the furniture especially the cabinet with the fridge. I found hairs in the shower (not mine)! To make matters worse the water pressure was non existent. Housekeeping is horrible, very lazy and they smoke on the porch off of the rooms. I reserved a partial ocean view, and I got a view of a side porch.

If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation this is not the place. This is a low class college dump place. Loud drunks, dogs and children running amock.
However the food at the restaurant is decent. The bar manager is great too.

Excellent stay at the beach. Our room #18, needs new bed sheets, a mattress topped on beds, updated comforters. I know bedspreads on top do not get washed after every use. We strip that and take our own blanket. Typical beach room, they do have super nice rooms here, this was the last room left. Has 3 bars, and good food. Friendly staff. Everyone seems to smoke there, which sucks! Otherwise great place, music was great also!

I stayed for one night on a business trip. Admittedly I was a bit nervous because of some of the negative reviews, but every second on my stay was excellent! This hotel is right on the beach with a balcony, which is great. The downside is: if your balcony is next to a balcony with two females who do nothing but talk from 3pm to 8pm you hear every word like you're sitting with them. Even if you leave your balcony and close the sliding glass door you still hear every word. And although the rooms are non-smoking the balconies allow smoking.

Well first and foremost this is NOT a resort. The rooms pictured on line was far from what room 23 looked like. Tile floors throughout the room with black grout (should be light grey) were disgusting. Towels were small and didnt match the three you got daily. Staff overall were friendly and nice. Location next to jetty park was nice.

The best thing about this property is location, location, location. If you don’t expect anything else and don’t need anything from anybody while you are there, you’ll have a good time. Staff anywhere is at a minimum. No elevator. No ice machine. Front desk hours are 9am-8pm, that’s it. There was very loud and obscene music playing until about 10:30pm. After staying here, I imagine a story like this: someone buys the hotel, they live there with their friends as staff and it’s set up in a way that the owners and staff barely work, get passive income from people wanting to stay ocean-front, and party and barely work all day because “who cares if the service is horrible, the location is great”.

The 1st room we went to smelled badly like mildew and only has 1 king bed and I booked for 3 people! I called the front desk and the girl was very nice and very accommodating, she moved us into a two bed with a full ocean view! It was very nice! The only thing I can say bad about the place was the towel situation was terrible the towels were like hand towels and they only left two in the room for 3 people and no washcloths! So if your going to stay here bring your own towels! Other then that a very pleasant stay!

The View and location were excellent. The beds were very old and needing to be replaced as we could feel the springs. The walls were thin as we heard way too much next door. Paper towels and actual coffee mugs would have been nice. Noisy due to entertainment in the bars.

Worth the minor annoyance of loudness

The location is great, if your destination is Fort Pierce. Hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the beach access can't be beat. The only complaint is that the restaurant/bar were under our balcony and it was loud. One of the nights we were there, the bar was closed and it was great. The second night was karaoke night, which was supposed to end at 9:00 pm, but did not; even after it ended a little after 9:30 pm, the bar noise was still in the room until after 11:00 pm on a Tuesday night. I certainly would not attempt to stay there on a weekend.

I like the color of the outside of the building.Location was awesome .iv have neck and back issues slept sitting up on the bed for an hour.there was a couple fight about 3 am somewhere outside and drunk.needs some cleaning up behind the pink building .Room was ok.room without an ocen view needs spuced up .Id paint the dark wood ceiling whjte for a more beachy feel and put vinyl gray wood look flooring down .easier to clean if people brought sand in the roomi loved the paint color though.

The chrome on the furniture was rusting, black dirt around the edges of door frames, pillows were very small and flat, balcony furniture was inadequate as the chairs are bar stools with a short table, the desk is too narrow to work at, it was very, very noisy! It could be fixed up so much nicer.
