The desk clerk was so very nice. We have stayed there before and like the pool, hot tub and breakfast. We were not able to stay because the weather was going to get bad. So we had to get on the road. She said they would not charge us. I found out that Expedia does though. So we paid for nothing.....

It was once a beautiful hotel and perfect for families as Holiday Inn. Now, the main elevator has been broken for 3 years. Heat has been broke for at least a year(they have portable heaters hanging in several places like the lobby and courtyard/pool). Pool has ware and tear “Updates” were started and look like they have been paused for years. Several Lights are out in the court yard causing the whole pool area to be dark (because they can’t replace them). Lights burnt out in dining room. Carpet worn out, stained, and pulling in several areas. Vending/ice machine areas look like equipment was torn out and remnants left. A general feel of “ we are just waiting for it to finally fall apart so we can close it and collect the insurance money”. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see its condition now. Like I said, it use to be so beautiful. And there is nothing around like this hotel in its glory. I wish a hotel franchise would buy it, invest in it, and revive it. Bathroom doors are sliding style and have no lock. Room heaters worked.

Ramada Inn….apparently has this theme in many of their hotels. That was an opinion only.

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. The hot tub has a BLACK dirty ring around the inside and in the foam. I do not think they have cleaned this place in 10 years. Also, the place is HUGE!! We asked for an extra room and were told that there were none clean, there were roughly six cars in the parking lot. No clean rooms??

Room keys would not work. After two trips to front desk, Danny moved us to a double bed room instead of the king bed I reserved. He was helpful and professional, but the building and grounds were run down and poorly maintained. The door to our room appeared to have been kicked in before, and the hallway and parking lot stunk of marijuana.
The staff was courteous and friendly, but overall, our stay was a disappointment. I doubt that I would stay there again.

I bet this was THE place to be 20+ years ago but could go for a serious remodel. Besides the outdatedness, the place was dirty, the room furniture had weird stains, the parking lot lights were not all on (we almost thought it was closed). The pool didn’t have any of the main lights on either. Hot tub was the color of milk mixed with sprite. The side entry doors didn’t have locks on them. The “restaurant” is a small bar menu.
I’m assuming this hotel is where everyone in the area goes to use the pool for free and hang out. I did not feel safe staying here.
But the staff was friendly.

The room was very dated. It had a slight musty smell and the carpet had stains. The chair in the room smelled terrible while sitting in it. The linens seemed fresh although I always assume they aren't. I search very well for bed bugs with a stong flashlight everywhere I stay. The only reason we did not leave is due to NOT finding any. I mistakenly booked this room thinking it was another hotel. From now on i will buy the cancelation policy. I hate hotels period let alone old ones. I give it 2.5 stars for cleanliness and 4.5 for staff friendliness.

I had registered in advance online. I arrived late and it was their last room. The lobby was filthy and the hotel was enormous with only about a dozen cars out front. We got to the room and the beds were slept in and there were empty beer cans all over. We went back to front desk to learn they had no other rooms. In the end we learned that more than 1/2 the rooms in the hotel were decommissioned. We ultimately got a room from another reservation which smelled like chlorine and was 85 degrees.

First off I walked into the hotel lobby and it smelled like cigarettes, then the parking lot wasn't well lit and was full of potholes and not even 10 minutes after check in I went down to the car to grab some things and there were 3 police cars in the parking lot. There were several people yelling and running down the hallway all night and people screaming outside, dogs barking. Very sketchy area. On top of that our door wouldn’t even lock because it wouldn’t close all the way. There were many broken items in this hotel such as the elevator, ice machine, bathrooms, etc.

This was the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed in. Blown lightbulbs in the lamps. Hair in the shower. The room smelled bad. Carpets were dirty. Very dusty. Stuff under the bed I’m assuming from previous guest. Ice machine is not working. They provided carts for you to bring your luggage in, but the parking lot was full of potholes so that was useless. Hot tub was broke. It was just nasty.

The front desk lady’s couldn’t help me I couldn’t get extra towels there were no pool towels the hot tub had dirt all around it someone literally wrote there name in the filth ! My room was dirty under bed and had a stain on the carpet ! Breakfast was supposed to be open at 7 didn’t open till 8 and they closed at 9 and the elevators were both broke so had to walk up and down the steps ! Also the people who work there take there kids to work with them !

You could tell this place was cool 20 years ago. The lady at the front desk puts forth a nice effort and is kind. The bartender is nice. Beyond that. This place should be quarantined. It’s filthy. Outdated in every possible way. This was our second stay simply because it is the most convenient place to stay for race weekends. But the carpet is gross in the hallways. Like crack house nasty. The walls are worse. The lobby is beat down , the restaurant /bar would be fun at a campground but it is not acceptable for a hotel stay. This chain should be ashamed of themselves. Unfortunately we will stay here again as it is the only option next to super 8 and other drug and prostitution facilities.

Do not ever stay at this hotel. Visible Black mold and holes in ceilings, mold on curtains, soap scum, mold, and hair in showers, unvaccuumed dirty rugs, rotten hot tub area. Staff and their families and friends lived at the hotel and let their kids run wild and lay all over lobby furniture with dirty bare feet. Staff did not know how to work the computer for check in. Rooms were not cleaned. Halls smelled rotten. Broken down cars with flat tires in the parking lot. Uncut grass. Place looked abandoned. Feared for safety walking from the car to hotel at knight with questionable staff and their friends roaming around/smoking in the parking. Elevator slipped at one point and thought we would be trapped. Felt like I was in a movie. Tried to find another hotel to stay that night in but there weren’t any available and I was from out of state. Considered sleeping in my car. Did not use the shower. I could go on and on. Do not stay here.

The hotel needs a redo. The beds were comfortable, but towels and sheets were only scheduled to be changed every 3 days unless asked. The showers had half glass and made a huge mess/slip hazard on the tile floor. The bar/restaurant was ok the food was good but the service was below average. Looked like the waitress/bartender was more worried about being on social media than service. The big issue for me was the pool. We specifically booked this hotel so family could enjoy the pool after a day of riding. The pool was taken over by a bunch of screaming/rough housing kids that were not even guests of the hotel. 2 people rented a room and 20+ people came in for some kind of party and took over the pool. Management was told by another lady that had the same problem but nothing was done.

Horrible experience, would not recommend. Got to our room and unloaded everything got ready for bed and found used adult toys laying between the bed and night stand. Went to the front desk and showed them, gave us a worse room I paid for a large single bed suite. They gave us a 2 twin bed room for me and my wife with no refund. New room was even dirtier. Pool has algae growing on the walls. My door did not mechanically lock, only electronically. Absolutely disgusting. Place would be super nice if it was taken care of and cleaned…

The outside looks ran down and not maintained , we were a bit confused as to if we were at the right place at first. Unfortunately The landscaping and outside of the building didnt look cared for , parking lot needs repairs.

The actual room itself was fine, it was clean , clean sheets etc and the bathroom was clean too.
We only stayed for 1 night.
But I will say The staff was very kind to us and helped us with whatever we needed , very nice people. I actually booked a room for the wrong night and they were very accommodating and helped me correct the problem.

PICTURES ARE VERY DECEIVING

From the minute we drove in, to walking in to the lobby to the elevator- it was awful. The lobby was not inviting. It was dark, the staff wore graphic shirts which didn’t seem professional. The elevator was filthy, the hallways were so uncomfortably warm, even hotter than the heat warning that we were having! The pictures were incredibly deceiving! The one good thing was that the staff was nice. My daughter wouldn’t even shower because the sides of the shower was moldy and gross. This was the first time, I’ve ever reserved thru Hotels.com that the price was unacceptable. They didn’t even have a free breakfast. You had to pay for it. No thank you, not after seeing the way the hotel was, I wasn’t going to trust the food was cooked properly.

The best part of this stay was the hot tub! But I also enjoyed a maple bacon burger in the bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking lot is a bit rough, but you can see they are attempting to fix it. The rooms were clean and breakfast was standard for most hotels.

Hot tub was not hot it was cold . The floor needed vacuumed before we even entered the room there was stuff on the floor from previous people that stayed . My son laid on the floor and got a burn on his stomach and his arm and he is in a lot of pain may have to take him to the er because of it.
