Very nice. Only drawback really is proximity to the interstate. Great for access but a little noisy. Lots of restaurants next door, many within a walk. Breakfast has a lot of choices for a “continental”. Staff supper friendly. Pool is small but adequate and rooms were very clean. I’d stay again.

Our room was very spacious and very clean! The main complaint that I had with the room was that now of our window we were only about 50 yards from an uphill on ramp to interstate 85. I had no idea that there were so many vehicles with loud exhaust systems! This was around the clock loud vehicles going up the ramp to the interstate! I suggest if you book a room at this Holiday Inn Express in Salisbury North Carolina that you request a room on the opposite side of the interstate!
All staff that we came in contact with we're very courteous, friendly and helpful.

The rest of the staf was just as helpful and so friendly. Would stay there again.

Excellent hotel. Staff was friendly. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Walls are a little thin, get the top floor if you can or you’ll hear your upstairs neighbors every move. Pool was closed which was a disappointment for the kids, but things happen and can’t always be fixed immediately.

Once I checked in in person room 412, the rep stated that Expedia did not charge an incidental fee and asked that I pay an incidental fee. I feel the clerk ask for the incidental fee due to the color of my skin, I felt stereotyped. The lobby and outside grounds area was ok. The continental breakfast was great, There were homeless or drug addicts or alcoholics at the gas station beside the hotel. I had to park my car on the other side of the hotel. Once I got in my in room, it had a stuffy smell, the sliding bathroom door came off the hinges, the carpet had old gum or some type of black sticky spot, the carpet was old, the couch bed had no sheets, the remote batteries were dead, no coffee cups for the coffee machine, shower curtains were old, the shower was dingy, I couldn’t tell if the deadbolt lock worked to the room door. The amount of money I paid was not worth it.

Very disappointed that my first room (402) had not been cleaned from the prior guest. Moved to room 302, where the ice machine has not been repaired since my initial stay in early February. The breakfast staff spent too much time loudly complaining to front desk team member. Her voice bellowed throughout the space.

This is an good hotel. I've been here several times and have never had any major issues or concerns. Fairly clean only a few things that I could nitpick about in the bathroom when it comes to detailed cleaning. But overall I enjoyed my stay. Nice hotel that lacks service

The hotel is relatively new and in nice condition. The rooms are clean the bed was comfortable. Our initial view was positive especially with the front desk uppn arrival but there were several little things that were irritating. First, the hair dryer was broken. Then they didn't come after our first night to clean the room. When I went to the desk that evening after being gone for 8 hours, the person at the front desk insisted that we must have left the do not disturb sign on the door, which we did not. She gave me a new set of towels upon request but it was her insistent position that I found rude. Why debate a customer? The second night was filled with loud noises where patrons were running and stomping on floors all night. To add to that, our room faced the freeway onramp which was loud. Hard to get a good nights sleep. Sprinkle a few non functioning electric and USB plugs and that completes the picture. It wasn't horrible but we'll be trying another hotel next we visit family.

I booked this hotel 3 days ahead of my travel with no issues. After a 10 hour drive and a very long day, my family of 5 received a call that they overbooked for the night and needed us to cancel our reservation. They called us 45 minutes prior to arriving, which was almost 9pm, leaving us scrambling for a place to sleep with availability. If overbooking occurred, they had 3 days to inform us but chose to leave it to the last hour. Such a terrible experience after a full day of driving. Would not recommend

The internet was very weak and spotty on the 2nd floor.
Soap in shower was empty.
Very few channels available if they even came through. No channels for the kids, no national news channels available. Watched my phone when internet was working. Had to use data the rest of the time.
