The room was very dirty. The bed was nasty, with stains on the pillows and blankets. the bathroom looked like the toilet had overflowed and they kinda, but not really cleaned it up. the bath towels had stains. no remote for the TV, no phone, the lamp shade had giant holes. When we checked in the clerk had to be woke, he couldn't be bothered to stop his phone call to talk to us. In the morning it was the same thing, the office was still closed and he sounded like he was still in bed, over the phone. this was THE worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I took many pictures but I see no place to share them here.

Although the entire property is non smoking, I had to ask for another room when the first room had clearly been smoked in. When I stepped into the second room, it too smelled of smoke. I decided at that moment to cancel my reservation and look for another motel. I do not recommend this property and would never make reservations there again.

First I would like to compliment the clerk for being friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the rest of my observations aren't so nice. I was here for three days and the same trash was outside in the parking lot and in front of the rooms. My particular room needed to be vacuumed prior to my arrival. The carpet in my room was damp and the bathtub leaked. Some of the fixtures were in disrepair.

This was not a good stay for us! The room was dirty, there was not a chair in the room. We had a 2 queen bed room but only 2 sets of towels. There were not tissues in the room. The lights in the bathroom were burned out. The toilet didn’t flush properly! The 1 floor lamp didn’t work. Wires were exposed in the bedside lamp and another bedside lamp didn’t work. The air conditioner was sketchy too. Free breakfast was a joke! Only had store bought muffins and no way to get hot water for tea! Very disappointing stay. Not going back!!

If there were other viable options, I would have checked out immediately. I don't recall ever having a worse experience. I did not feel safe, clean or comfortable here. I literally had Walmart deliver bedding so that I could at least sleep in the bed. I am not one to complain but the conditions of the room were horrible! Dirty is an understatement. The pool had no water and was green but I didn't stay for the pool so that was irrelevant to me. The overall condition of the property was horrible. The manager was super nice and helpful. I didn't feel safe here, maybe because of the condition, I'm not sure. I was grateful that there was door dash and Walmart delivery - that was a plus.

The staff at the front desk was pleasant. I disliked the fact that the bathroom door was missing the handling, which means there was just a hole in the bathroom door. There was also a hole in the wall beside the bed. It was kinda creepy. I thought something would eventually come crawling out of the hole that was the size of my fist. This was unit #203. My parents stayed in #101 that didnt have a microwave or refrigerator. Atleast there were no holes in their wall!!!!!

The person at the front desk acted like he wanted to be anywhere else but there. I understand the feeling, but shouldn’t be visible to your guests. There was a hole cut out in the bathroom wall. Possibly for a waste bin, but there was no bin. There was also urine all around the bottom of the toilet and that was indescribably disgusting. The room itself seemed fairly clean to the naked eye. The tv was crooked and looked like it was about to fall off the wall. I’d rate it 2 out of 4 stars. That’s being generous.

Consider customer service for Employees

They were short staffed. Some staff (at check in) were friendly and professional while other members used profanity addressing me trying to get my card re-keyed for entry the next day. The woman who actually rekeyed it said it would be a bit, because she was folding sheets (clean sheets she placed on the tile) Good customer service conveniences the guest, not inconveniences the guest.

The pool is a neglected black swamp . When we checked in there was no one in the lobby. Another guest and i had to drive around the property to find a random woman who happened to work there but was \"off that night\" who drove to the lobby and unlocked the office to check us in. The door had no lock on the back. The light switchplate was shattered. Light bulbs missing in the room. The phone was unplugged and stored in the drawer? No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker in the room. We were catfished by the outdated pictures on the site.

Staff is extremely RUDE and management is NEVER on the premises. No one returns phone calls. So called front desk manager has zero management qualities and poor customer service. I have been hung up on numerous times by Sac (what a name).
Booked a room through Hotels.com and upon arriving at hotel, I was informed there weren’t any rooms available. All rooms were occupied. I then made the 3 hour return home because other hotels had no availability.
After speaking with hotels.com concerning the matter, I was told that someone occupied “my reservation”. We never even entered a room at this hotel.
I have been charged for this stay and have made numerous efforts to get a refund. I have gotten no where with hotel staff. Manager won’t be in for a week, front desk manager will speak to her and call me back. Yet to get a return call from Sac. She claims she is the only that works there that can handle the issue. But she is doing nothing resolve this. How’s that for customer service? AWFUL!!

This hotel has STOLEN from me and is doing NOTHING to make the situation right.

This hotel needs to be reviewed by corporate. After reading through reviews after the fact, it sounds as though the hotel is NASTY and full of homeless people. So my assumption is a homeless person occupied my room at my expense and received a bug filled shower with moist towels for drying off. Or a hotel staff member used it for “her acquaintance” and is covering her a** over the matter

Gentlemen at the front desk was not very accommodating. I did arrive a little over an hour before official check in but was told I had to wait until 3pm. I could understand this if the hotel was full of guests but after speaking to the housekeeper she said that they were not full the night before and there were plenty of rooms already available.

Room was you average Quality Inn room but there were some concerns with the dirtiness of some items. The fan in the bathroom was missing the cover and looked as if it had not been cleaned in a few years. Room did smell nice due to all the Glad Plug-Ins they had in the room.

TV did not work upon arriving, remote never worked, someone else’s underwear under the night stand, no microwave or fridge or coffee maker, rag stuck in hole in door. Let’s not forget the continental breakfast, if you can call it that, which was a pot of coffee, no ability to heat water for tea and a small container of pop tarts and snack bars. Second time there is 5 years and was not real impressed the first time but then the lobby was under construction but now they have a nice lobby that is useless. We will never stay there again.

This place is a dump!

We were in town for a softball tournament. The Quality Inn was shown to have a pool and continental breakfast, two things that influenced our decision to stay there. The pool was a nasty looking “pond” full of bugs and frogs. Our first room was disgusting, with a non-working toilet and a plumber snake on the filthy bathroom floor.

Worst experience ever in a Quality Inn

When we showed up to check in the doors were locked. It took 3 attempts calling the front desk number to get someone to come to the door, only to be told our reservation had been canceled due to an issue with the pipes and we should have been notified. When I told him there were no other rooms in the area and we had no where else to go, he told me if we didn't mind not having a TV he would put us in a room to \"help us out\". The room hadn't been cleaned in some time and there were safety hazards everywhere. I had prepaid for a king bed but we were put in a room with 2 full/queens. No receipt but my card was charged. This is one of the two worst hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. Wires were dangling from the television, light sockets were exposed, only one working bulb, the sink faucet was unsecured, the smoke alarm was in a drawer, and the concrete of the stairs was crumbling.

Guy behind the desk was on his cell phone with earbuds when I was trying to check in. Talked to his friend more than me. Parking lot was dirty and building looked rough. We stay at Quality Inn every time we go to Toccoa because this is my home town. This is the 1st room that was horrible that we have stayed in. Bed sheets were dirty, floor had hair all on the floor. Couch was broken we could not sit on it. There were no chairs in the room. TV did not work. I was shocked. I hope my next stay is better because I was not happy with room 106. I needed a handicap and I told them that.

Reasons I don’t recommend...

It looked very clean and nice from the front of the building but the back of the building looked like it had been let go of. The room looked clean when you first came in but was filthy when we took a closer look. Half smoked cigarettes behind the doors, lids in between the wall and dressers, and stains on the chairs. Also, a lot of commotion at the back of the building all night long with people cussing. I definitely do not recommend for a family! For the price it was an okay place... just not what I was hoping for.

The fact that the front door required a power lifter to close it and lock it was more than overshadowed by the silverfish, roaches and flies that greeted me when I entered.

Got in late.. shower had dried crusty stuff on it, a dirty wash cloth hanging in it, the floor looked like it had been mopped before it was swept especially by the trash can, there wasn’t even a smoke detector.. just wires hanging... the sheets had cigarette burns in it... the might was about to fall off the wall... crappy room.. will never stay there again!

The property seemed run down and a little seedy, but the room interior seemed freshly redone. It was nice but then offset by the fact that the drain plug was missing from the sink and the wipe down of the bathroom surfaces was not done well. The bed was very comfortable and clean and the tv was wonderfully massive. Overall a good value for the price, but I would not stay again.

Misadventures in Toccoa, GA

This was definitely an experience we would have preferred not to have. Our visit started with being assigned a smoking room (no no for non smokers); our second room was non smoking but the heat and air unit never worked after three requests for repair. They did finally give us an extra blanket. I guess having outdoor entrances you can expect for your neighbors to be smoking it up. The final thing to mention was the bathroom door which would lock when you closed the door and had to be opened from outside! We won't be staying here next time.

Upon entering the room, the temperature on the thermostat was set at 60 degrees. Sadly, the sheets on the bed were old and dirty. So I had to go get clean sheets for the bed and had to wait an hour to get a clean comforter from the staff to retrieve one out of the dryer. We did not have a remote control. Then the one I was given did not work and I had to walk with the maintenance man to another room to get a cable box so it would work after the new cable box was installed. After a couple of uses, the card I was given to operate the door to the room failed, so I had to go to the front desk to get it fixed. At the front desk area, R&B music was being played loud and 4 of the people in the area were friends of the customer service agent. They seemed to be having a good time, but not focused on true customer service. There was no refrigerator and no hair dryer in the room. Also, the room had no Kleenex and smelled. Overall, the room was old, dirty, and REALLY needed updated. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel is in the process of being renovated so maybe that will help for future stays. Not a very good breakfast - could use more choices. Ladies at the desk were helpful.

The people were kind and accommodating. The room was disappointing: the ironing board didn’t have a cover, the comforter on the bed was dingy, the tv remote didn’t work properly, the room was not set up with the proper amenities (2 lotions, no shampoo, two floor towels, but only one bath towel, and no hand towel at all), and the room key we had to take back twice to get it reprogrammed. I think some extra TLC would go a long way.

Had to change room due to unpleasant odor. Hand rail was loose on the balcony. Swimming pool was dirty.

The rooms are fairly clean. I would recommend to stay if you are on a budget trip. The front office service is very nice and kind.

Breakfast wasn't exciting. I guess there weren't many people staying when we were there. So it made sense for a simple cereal breakfast.

No towels in the room when we arrived.
Pool not in good condition, serious algee. Ice machine not workink. Room key did not work off and on. TV in breakfSt not working.
All staff tried to be heloful
