Large room for three adults, excellent Irish breasts the associated restaurant next door included - started at 9 when the restaurant opened but was ok as we used the time to go to the lighthouse on the peninsula about 25 km from Kilkee; plentiful free street parking in front - it's a one way street so no bad traffic, food options nearby, very close to the Kilkee cliff walk which is just awesome; the drawbacks were check in by 9 pm which was ok as we went out first day after overnight flight and drive from Dublin and the hot water was more like not cold than warm. I would definitely start again for location and breakfast.

I enjoyed staying at Myles creek for the fact it was so close to the beach in kilkee.
The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great .
The room although clean was nothing more than basic.
It was more like a hostel room than a hotel.
The view from my room was of rooftops and solar panels. The bathroom sink looked like it had a big crack in it, the bedroom lacked character.

Very friendly and clean. Not too many options for breakfast, but it was good and fresh. Centrally located with free parking available at the waterfront. Everything was within walking distance, except if you want to visit the cliffs or get better views — for that, you’ll need a car.

Charming Location, But Rooms Need a Refresh

Your hotel is tucked away in a quaint, quiet area that made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The location was truly a highlight—convenient yet serene, with easy access to local attractions, shops, and cafes.

While the setting was lovely, the rooms themselves could use a bit of extra TLC. They were functional, but some furnishings and fixtures felt dated and in need of an update. With a little attention to detail and some modern touches, the rooms could really elevate the overall experience.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay thanks to the charming surroundings, but I’d love to see some investment in the rooms to match the potential of the location.

I had a wonderful experience at Myles Creek Guesthouse, and will absolutely stay here again whenever I make my way back to Ireland. The staff’s hospitality from the guesthouse to the restaurant/bar made me feel welcome and safe. My room was quaint and clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had no issues with noise or check out. They really ensure their guests are happy and comfortable.

The staff were lovely and the room was very clean. The room was very basic but as I was travelling for work I was not too held back. My only real issue is when I come down for breakfast at 08:00am there wasn’t a soul to be found, reception was locked up. I called the number at the front of the B&B to no avail so disappointed with that. I don’t think €72 for an outdated room and no breakfast was great value midweek and off-peak.

Our room was very tiny and facing the street, which at night got very noisy. Since there was no air conditioning we had to keep the window open for some fresh air so we had to put up with the street noise.

FABULOUS 3 STAR PROPERTY!

Myself and my kids stayed there recently. We needed a spot for a night out by the Clare Coast. I am glad we tried Myles Creek. It's a lovely 3 Star place and I certainly disagree with some of the poor reviews I saw. The night before we stayed in a beautiful 5 Star and when we got into our room at Myles, my 8 year old said he liked it better because the woman at Check In was SO NICE! From the mouths of babies... I couldn't agree more. The room was old and a bit small, but it was clean, comfortable and warm. Street parking right outside the front door was ample and free. The Off License run by the same owners had a better wine selection than you would find in most fancy Irish Wine Shops. I asked for dinner suggestions and we were directed up the road. The owner could have suggested their onsite pub, but didn't. I liked that. Turns out we ate at the onsite pub and it was excellent! The place was packed with families. The prices were good, as was the food. Another great pub was right next door. The free breakfast the next morning had 3 options. We tried 2 of the 3 and it was the best brekkie I have had in a long time. We all liked them adding Chips to the full Irish! We sat down for breakfast at 9 and were on our way to our next stop by half 9. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and hospitable. Poor wifi.

This was the only available option to us in mid-January, at short notice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The weather was very cold, so it would have been good if the only heater in the room was switched on before we came back in the late afternoon. It took a while to get warm. The bathroom was perfectly functional, but the shower takes about 10 minutes to heat up and there was no heater in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Free wifi is promised on the website, but unfortunately was only available in the bar downstairs and was very unreliable. This was a real problem for us as we needed to get some work done on the laptop.
Overall, we were glad to find a place to stay at short notice and, in general, Myles's Creek is very clean, hospitable and functional. Better wifi - in the room -would be a real plus.

This guest house is exceptinal value for money in very good location. It was very clean and the bed vas very comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful.
We would have been a little bit happier with blackout blinds or curtains as our room was facing the street and remained quite bright throughout the night.
Our room was advertised as the one with 'private bathroom', however, it wasn't clear that the bathroom, albeit private (and very clean), was accross the hall, so I would suggest clearer description. We selected this hotel based on location and availability and would have been happy to pay a bit more for an en-suite and blackout curtains but would n the whole stay there again.

This property is in a very good location. The guesthouse has a bar, restaurant and liquor store. There are at least 10 places to eat and drink within a 1/4 mile. There is also a grocery store with 100 yards/meters.

Fortunately there are many choices for food and drink because the in-house bar and restaurant were a disappointment. The bartender did NOT embrace irish hospitality acting as if we were a bother. For breakfast I ordered poached eggs (served with hard yolks, barely warm), bacon (cold), and toast (cold).

I'll chose a different placed to stay next visit to Kilkee

We had a lovely time in this guest house. The parking on the street outside was convenient and free of charge. The breakfast was massive and very fresh and tasty. The lady working in the breakfast room and bar was really lovely, very friendly. The fire alarm went off on the Saturday night. The night manager went around trying to smell if someone was smoking or not. My husband wasn't too impressed with him trying to get into our room while I was in bed. All in all we enjoyed our weekend in Kilkee.
