The rooms were HUGE and a great value for the price. The shuttle service was timely and polite. The restaurant service was understaffed, but the staff was friendly and hard working. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars in the one hotel room was on the top floor and leaking badly across the ceiling in multiple areas.

I loved it. Compared to the madness of Stations 1,2,3 - this is an oasis of calm! Sure, it's isolated and you need to use the brilliant shuttle service offered by the hotel. But then you'll get a fantastic swimming pool, where you can do serious swimming. A great bar, serving breakfast and well priced meals and drinks. Wonderful staff. The resort is huge but only about 30 rooms open - mainly post pandemic trauma. If you want to complain about some of the obvious deficiencies, don't stay here. If you're not good with hills, ask for a low level apartment. If you want the bars, etc right on your doorstep, don't stay here. Don’t forget, Boracay receives 2.3 million visitors a year. This place lets you escape the madness and the masses. I felt really quite smug that on numerous occasions, I had the pool and the bar to myself. To summarise. It's not a luxury resort in the literal sense but for me, it offered everything I wanted - and more -as a slightly decrepit male, old, solo traveller. Finally, great aircon, good WiFi in bar and pool area - sporadic in the room but I managed.Great value and for me, made my trip to Boracay.

The resort was very nice, it have some admin troubles and need more maintenance (grown grass, paint damaged of some walls and furniture, need to cover some areas used as storage like under the stairs) but in general aspects we are very satisfied, excellent and huge room with huge bathroom, nice views, awesome private beach, what we don't like was the very few options for breakfast, everything thing else was very good, my family consider back to this hotel in near future.

The Lingganay Boracay Hotel Resort is amazing! The property is beautiful with amazing views of the water. The penthouse was was perfect for our family of 4. Very spacious with a tremendous balcony with the best view ever! The property is beautifully landscaped but since it's on a hill it could be tough for those that have walking issues. The gym, pool, and cafe are great. The hotel is quiet and not so close to the main beach but the hotel offers a great shuttle service all day and night. If need be there are tricycles you can find for cheap to take you from the beach as well. Only issue we had was with the wifi not working in our room which they rectified in 24 hours. Definitely going to stay at Lingganay again!

The bad first, there are cracked tiles and exposed wires in various places around the resort, but that's typical of the Philippines, the only places where everything is in perfect working order are five star and foreign owned. The rooms are spacious and clean, although the bathroom lacked a second towel rack or a toilet roll holder. The wicker bed sings every time you move as only wicker furniture does and \"double bed\" does not mean western sized double, my feet were hanging off the end. But all in all we had a great trip and my negatives are only minor details, the resort is quiet and comfortable and the shuttles to D-Mall are convenient, in all honesty I would happily stay there again. The view of the wind turbines in the Caticlan from our balcony was amazing, especially when they're lit up by the setting sun in the afternoon.

The place was nice, beautiful outside, rooms are big and clean. Checking in the lady was really nice. LargeTV worked but not good but it worked. WiFi doesn't connect in the rooms, that is a deal breaker for me. But at the bar/restaurant the WiFi works good. The evening bartender and waitress were awesome. The breakfast staff not good or inviting at all, maybe they are still tired or hungover. The menu food is good will run you about 1k pesos plus for two people. The free breakfast is very small, American breakfast:eggs, 1 toast, and ham or Canadian bacon but it was thin. And Philippino breakfast was rice with very yellow colored tocino and egg. So the breakfast will leave you more hungry especially if you are American. We like a big breakfast. The rooms are basic, warm water, aircon, towels. Bring your own hair conditioner, hand soap, wet wipes, there's no bidet. Also don't forget your toothbrush and toothpaste. And the lights would turn on by themselves at night, maybe a ghost 👻 or bad wiring, very annoying. The outside property is gorgeous, a nice walk to the private beach is astounding, so many photo opportunities for your FB, insta, and TikTok but so many stairs. It is a quiet place, far from everything, there is a courtesy van that will take you in town. And the E-trikes back to the hotel at 150-300 peso for two depending on location. It was ok, if you like quiet, and this is for you. Personally overall I liked it, my wife not so much.

If you want a relaxing atmosphere this is the place to be . The garden the scenic view of the coastal and the sorrounding areas are so beautiful.
The easy access to the front beach is so accessible with the shuttle service provided by the hotel anytime at guest convenience . Would really recommend this to my friends and relatives .

Resort is on a hillside so walking up and down the hills and stairs can be challenging for those with disabilities, but for heathy travelers the views are amazing and the staff is wonderful. The property is extremely well maintained and the flowers and plant life are beautiful.

Rides to DMall are quick and efficient, around 3-5 minutes. The hotel drivers are super friendly and great at answering questions. Recommend bringing your own towels if using the pool as they only provide room towels.

Overall a beautiful property that is wonderful if you want to avoid the crowds and noise of Dmall and the beach front areas. Make sure to visit the private beach area behind the property. It is well worth the walk.

Our stay at Lingganay Resort was amazing. The 2br suite was so spacious and the view was spectacular. The salt water pool was great and staff was always polite and attentive. They have drivers to shuttle you to dmall whenever you like from 6a-11p. The property could use cosmetic upgrades in some areas, and the kitchen didn't have many items but wasn't a huge issue. Oh, and they said they had a private beach but there isn't one, that's the one thing I would prefer instead of having to take a shuttle to the beach. Besides that, it was pretty much perfect.

Great gym and private beach!

Lingganay provided a perfect getaway. It is secluded and away from the noise and aggressive commissioners of the island. The resort itself has a lot to offer with a private beach , a nice pool, trekking and jogging path. It also has one of the best gyms I have seen in the island. Another plus is the free shuttle (only up to D'Mall, farther than that, there is a fee already).

Cons:
1. There is no free water, each bottle will cost you Php 50 but they do have water at the restaurant and at the lobby.
2. I could not connect to the Wi Fi at all while in the room. Head on to the restaurant if you need to connect.
3. The spin machine in the gym did not have a foot clip

We really enjoyed out stay despite of the typhoon it didn't really bother us. The villa is beautiful and is safe from the signal #2 typhoon. They need improvement but nothing major like they need to put lights on the vanities. They can change the window blinds and put a curtain because the blinds is not complete.

My entire family loves this place. The staff are very courteous, polite,respectful and very helpful. The 2 bedroom suite we stayed are so clean and organized. The pool was so relaxing. The location of Lingganay resort is perfect, you can have a full view of the ocean on the top roof of this resort. Their courtesy ride is always there, we don’t even have to wait for 5 mins. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to boracay.

Tho could be a 4/5 star hotel if they addressed some of the moisture issues that affected our hotel bathroom. The pool was nice but again some better upkeep would go a long way. That said he hotel still offers great value for money. Free shuttles into town are great added bonus.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel we had a rooftop suite with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean and the island. The staff were very friendly. They have 24/7 van or shuttle service that drops you off and picks you up. The hotel has one restaurant and they have a good menu but not many options for a western type of diet which is understandable as the menu caters more locals. My wife has gluten allergies so we needed to be careful what she can eat, hope they make some bake potatoes or has browns for their breakfast. The condition of the hotel is nice the only thing I was hoping for is provide extra towels in the room and not just two one for each guest. The 2 pools were great one has an amazing view of the ocean and the private beach is also nice. The architecture of the hotel is really unique as if you are in a castle. I will come back again if have a chance. The only challenge is getting to our room as it is on the 3rd floor only stairs no elevators but its alright

1. Lousy shuttle bus service. everytime need wait 45 minute and about.
2.i ady inform service counter in one day advance for book a shuttle bus to Jetty @ 9.30am next day. but, they still let us wait 45minute (ady 10.15am). n then, service staff dont know how to comunicate with driver, they send us to Dmall, really poor comunication.
3. i got 8ppl & 6pcs luggage. they use 1 car ( TOYOTA INNOVA ) to send us to jetty, driver need us HUG our own luggage on seat.
4. room dint have any coffee or tea pack.
5. cup got 2 set, but tea spoon only 1pc.
6.Room dint have room service.
7. lousy WIFI.
8. Room dint have shower gel, etc...

This hotel give us a bad & unhappy trip.
I hope your can choice a good quality hotel, not like this poor management & poor arrangement hotel.

We arrived exactly at 2 pm, check in was quick, a large spacious room, like a small apartment.
The two pools where clean and beautiful, especially the one overlooking the ocean. The gym
had all new equipment, we used it for four of the five days we stayed there. They may want to
consider a bathroom in the gym. A shuttle is available for free, to the D mall, we did visit the
other mall City mall, waste of time. I forgot, there is a small private beach, but I prefer the
pools that where filled with clean ocean water.

This hotel is AMAZING if you're traveling as a couple, we got the diamond suite. I got this room on sale so and it was worth every penny. The staff is absolutely amazing, they speak enough english to help you get around. There are shuttles to D'mall when you need them. This is not near a lot of public areas and it was pretty empty when we went. It is a great place if you're looking for somewhere to wind down away from the tourist areas. Usually there was only 1-2 people in the pools or private beach. The A/C in the rooms is very nice.

Germany Castle in Boracay

Amazing place the moment you met Geoffrey at the front door to the 24 shuttle service with Neil the driver.
Lovely very big rooms, clean an tidy.
Jakob - aka - OPA had a vision to build a German castle, he has put 17 years and a lot of hard work into this and boy is it a masterpiece.
The main bar area is done with stain glassed windows of castles Jacob could see from his bedroom window when he was a child.
In the bar you will be greeted by three lovely girls who will take care of you all night. Thank you to Racy, Sheryl and We Ann, you girls will always have a place in our hearts.
Also in the main bar they have a big brass bell above the bar, you ring the bell and you get to shut the whole bar, well I can say it was rung a lot on our stay.
From the entrance to the two beautiful pools this place will amaze you.

An amazing hotel. Beautiful grounds. Very private ocean front location. 2 amazing pools and it's own private and secluded beach. They have an excellent gym. The hotel runs a 24hr shuttle service to popular White Sands beach which offers excellent food and drink venues right on the beach!

Pretty castle with the worst service experienced !

Seriously the worst vibes at this hotel and I was definitely looking forward to it as it was my last 4 days in Boracay as well. The staff was rude, nosy, and seriously harassing. I dont think I have ever been harassed like this anywhere in my life. Everytime I left my room my mom and I were told to pay P1000 for a family guest down the street to come over and entertain us since there was literally no wifi and television service. Paid about P20,000 for 4 nights for not only a dirty floored room with the worst wifi connection but an extra P5000 for being accused of a guest overnight when they literally have a house down the street. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone although it does have breathtaking scenery at this nice hotel or shall I say more like a jail or dungeon. I wanted to speak with manager for 4 days straight and was literally lied to several times at this location. First they tell me free shuttle when they taxed my mother 3 times P150. Mani on pamphlet said 250, but asked to pay 750. We would leave hotel at 10am after housekeeping would clean at 9am then get harassed about another fee then come home at 10pm to a staff squatter outside our room waiting for us with a flashlight. I have videos and pictures of staff during the harassment. I asked several times their names and would not disclose it so I took photo. The staff on our last day shoved my phone demanding for money while calling a group of 10 men to surround us almost making us late for our departure.

Nicest resort we've been to, Free shuttle 24-7

Room was gigantic, great balcony.
The pools are all the same depth, I believe they're 5 feet deep, not the best for children.
Situated on a hill, so you get amazing views of the lagoon and resorts
To get a free shuttle to D-mall or the Port, you just let the front desk know, and they'll get you a van in 2-10 minutes.
The shuttles make trips to D-mall quite frequently, to return to the hotel, just call the hotel and they'll have a driver come pick you up. If you don't have a phone, you can catch the next shuttle at the D-mall drop off point. (5-15 min)
The private beach was very nice, also another large lagoon just beside the private beach.
Be very cautious of all the Sea Urchins in the private beach and lagoon.
The water is only waist deep at the deepest, unless you go all the way past the sand bar.

We had a good stay at this hotel. Our diamond studio room was massive and really nice. The pools were great with lovely views and quiet most of the time. The grounds were also really nice with lots of flowers and plants. Just a shame it's quite far from the town. Not really suitable to walk but there is a free shuttle bus. We used this many times but do be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for this. It is free though so can't complain. Most staff were really friendly and helpful however at check in we didn't really feel that welcomed into the hotel as it wasn't very professional and the lady's at the desk were busy having a chat and a giggle making it a little slow. Overall it's good value for money!

This hotel is worth it. Yes, everyone is correct. No phone, and slow wifi. But hey it's Philippines. Slow internet is at all hotels across country. As for no phone..... Well you should have cellphone sim when traveling anyways if your smart. So no big deal.

this hotel has great pools with amazing views. It's well maintained and beautiful. It's a must do to explore the grounds behind the pool. The rock bluffs are well maintained and very well set up with two different places to sit and enjoy the cove. The beach is very nice. Good sand and a little rocky which is normal for all philipines. This is not cancun. We saw over 100 star fish!!

Yes it's about 10 minutes ride from all the action and white beach. But the hotel and view makes up for it. And they run 5 vans. We never waited more than 10 minutes to ride to dmall or back. Even when we called at 4am for ride back lol.

Staff is friendly. Desk girls and drives need to communicate a little more because you will find the desk girls don't always know what's going on. But they are very sweet and polite. Everyone is!!!!

If you watch closely everyday. You will find the owner always walking about each day. She take real pride in her hotel :). One guys job is to just sweep up fallen leaves and flower. Very nice.

I stayed in 6 hotels across philipines and this one is the one that will bring me back. Great for price. Four star hotel for sure.

Beautiful Hotel with a German Castle Vibe

On arrival our bags we taken from us by the bell hops and we were given a quick orientation by the reception staff about breakfast by the pool (or indoors in the restaurant if we preferred), the shuttle bus that is provided by the hotel that takes guests into town and brings them back regularly (no extra charge).
we were handed complimentary welcome drinks vouchers for use upstairs at the bar and taken to our room.
Time by the pool was lovely the place is kept immaculate by accommodating staff food & drinks are made to order (so they take a little while to arrive but you're on holiday so no rush right?)
Speaking of food the cuisine is from across the entire globe, Curries, German inspired, Hungarian, British, Chinese it's all on offer.
You must try the fruit shakes they make as well particularly the mango shake!!
Highly recommended hotel

Beautiful Resort away from chaos, with easy access

Lingganay is a beautiful resort away from the chaos of White Beach, yet easy access was provided with a 24 hour shuttle available. Suggestion, if you have the opportunity to rent a motorcycle or scooter for your stay, it is well worth it, for the freedom you would have to see more of the island with the limited drop-off and pick-up location of the shuttle. Staff was amazing and very timely for almost every aspect of our stay. Our shower head came apart, and within an hour, they were there to fix it. Due to limited resources on the island itself, this may not always be the option, though. We will definitely consider this for future visits over White Beach locations, as I have family that lives on the island and visit there on a regular basis. Also the services/events available to book through the resort is not an exaggerated price, compared to the US.

It was the best choice to stay in this hotel. The room is really spacious and clean and swimming pool has a magnificant view. Moreover this hotel is not very crowded even though rooms fully reserved. However, they could improve in their service. A worker asked me 30 PHP for insering air to my tube. Eventually I didnt pay it though.

However I would recommend this hotel to someone planning to travel to Boracay.

I was surprised at how comfortable the Diamond Studio room was as it felt like a small apartment and very homely. I would have been more impressed if the condition of the room was of a higher standard as there are some marks and stains here and there on the flooring which gave it an unclean appearance. I had heard about Lingganay's lack of shuttle schedule however their system of requesting for a shuttle and waiting was adequate for my requirements. Their room make up and housekeeping was also always completed whenever requested. Will definitely stay again.

Hotel with no reliable transportation.

- Rude staff to ask not to have a visitor on my room since their not part of my booking? SERIOUSLY a visitor not staying overnight and the fact they knew it was a visitor? Plus Infant 2yrs old (not even but turning) is consider an ADULT - Its a hotel policy? Since when and where and which hotel? oh this issues will be address unless you pay extra, Oh I GET IT.
-Transportation took so long and its not their problem and we have to deal with the issue since we're at their hotel? They would told us driver are not enough and made some adjustment or alternative way on how to move people on point A to be instead of giving us a rude response. (Came from a Manager with NO CLASS and NO SHAME to spoke to a customer like that) refresh memory on training, if she had any.
-Hotel was not an easy access to beach because its on top of the mountain, so commute for us is very difficult since were family.
- Driver will not drop you to your designated building where your room is located. Some of the room need to be hike to get there. Maybe a tip every time you leave and come back will do and make your life easier.
- Limited choices on food. However, American and German foods are great there.
-Swimming pool is only for SIX FOOT HIGH. NOT GOOD FOR cannot swin NOR FAMILIES WITH KIDS.

To make the story short, We stayed 3 days and 3 days argument with the management before we enter (infant issues), Middle (visitor consider a guest) and before we leave the facilities (transportation issues)

A Pleasant Stay

Room was clean with staff cleaning it ,replenish supplies and changing towels everyday.the resort sits on top of a hilly area and there are a lot of steps which can be a little slippery when wet.they have 2 pools which are saltwater and are well maintained.Food is okay but on the pricey side.wifi service is a bit spotty.they have 24 hour shuttle service to D Mall-the main shopping area/drop off to the white beaches.staff very courteous and accommodating.

Terrible hotel staff!!

This hotel has the most beautiful private beach and the diamond studios are lovely.. However, that's the only nice thing I can say about this place!
The staff as TERRIBLE!! They ate off my husbands plate before we had even left and they were hooking in with their hands!! They are rude, unhelpful and the hotel is very old. The food was old and I'm sure had been sitting there for days and it was EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!!!!
Do NOT stay here!!

Serenity and relaxation at its finest.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They greet you everytime they see you. There is welcome drinks upon checkin for the guests. The 2 pools were decently sized, although it's salt water. The Petty beach is dirty and no marks of proper maintenance.

they need improvements

currently the overall i gave the hotel is a bit poor but it can be a fantastic hotel with a few changes. they need better service. too many times i asked for something and did not get. they should have phones in all rooms. wi-fi service can be annoying. the shuttle from D-Mall to get back to the resort takes forever, even if u call the front desk for pickup. your better off paying the 120 pesos tricycle ride back.

Made our stay at Boracay even more perfect!

We stayed at a Diamond Suite room. Room was great, a lot of space, clean, modern, nice balcony, big TV. Staff was friendly. The view from the swimming pool was just stunning!! We enjoyed the private beach a lot (weren't even other hotel guests there.) The free shuttle bus to the center/D-Mall was pretty good. Although the van can easily fill up during busy times (like going back to the hotel around 8-10 PM) We had breakfast at the hotel once which was good, but during lunch/dinner we preferred to be at the public beach - obviously much more restaurants there.

Overall I really feel like our stay in this resort made our small holiday even more perfect, thanks!

Quiet Quaint Hotel

My husband and I travelled to Boracay during Christmas 2014. This was our first time in Boracay and the Philippines. Good things about the hotel - pools are nice (salt water pools), the room was fabulous (clean, modern, and comfortable), and one of the drivers was very helpful and friendly (can't remember name but I think his nickname was \"Duece\"). Bad things - I found the front desk ladies to be rude and condescending, hotel is located far away from the White Beach (where everything is located), free shuttle to White Beach took forever, not enough towels provided in hotel room. Overall, I would not recommend Lingganay to a first time visitor unless they want to stay in their hotel rooms/resort for most of their vacation in a beautiful foreign country.

My stay was very quiet and secluded, I enjoyed that very much. The view was great. But the furniture in the rooms facing the ocean needed much up grading , I think that they are doing that to some of the rooms as we speak. The staff really went out of there way to make you feel welcome. The food there was not that great through,but it was ok. The shuttle service was great 24/7 they were available to take you to wherever you wanted to go.

Boracay vacation

The basic room was nice, large, clean. Unfortunately, they had a round toilet seat on an oval commode, which didn't work well. On the day we were leaving (3rd night), they finally gave us towels for the pool. Porch was beautiful, but someone was burning wet garbage for 3 days, so we could not enjoy that. I thought the location away from the long beach would be quieter, which it probably was. And the hotel provided a free taxi to and from D'mall. It turned out to be inconvenient to have to take the taxi all the time. Next time I'll probably stay on the quieter section of long beach. One other thing, the tile walkways are like ice when they are wet.

soooo nice, and yet a weird experience

First of all, it is really as beautiful as the pictures suggest. On the edge of a cliff you can overlook a whole beach and off into the distance see other islands. Heart melting for the first one or two hours or as long as you settle for just looking at your hotel.
The rooms are large and nice, come with aircons, a kitchen, lounge area and a veranda.
They sport a tiny private beach facing to the east only, umm, and seagrass is a spoiler too. No place to spend the day for me. Half way to the beach there is a great salt water pool with a great view over the beach, probably the best place to spend time outside.
The real disappointment though waits in the restaurant. German dishes, a less than enthusiastic service, and what came on the table, didn't impress either. You have to dine out! Which seems no problem, the hotel has free shuttle and pickup to from D Mall. But if you see, what effort has been put into the Lingganay, the food seems a failure. Oh, and the hotel was empty, as was the neighboring Monaco Suites - doesn't help. Both places are an unwalkable distance away from party, you need to shuttle.

Small private beach, and not good for swimming. Lots of steps and hills. Website advertised scuba diving on site but none available. Hotel could not arrange tours but did arrange for tour guide to come to hotel.

Nice quite, comfortable, and relaxing hotel.

We stayed here for 5 days with our 2 little children in august 2013 . There was a typhoon coming which was not the hotel's fault . . Everything else was .We ate our first meal there , the rest we did not .The front desk was staffed with charming girls who were mostly clueless . We wanted to exchange some small amount of money but were told it required the manager's (Owner) approval .He lived on-site but never got to see him . The hotel brochure and website showed a spectacular beach which was the main reason we chose to stay here .The beach turned out to be 15 minute cab ride away. Gross misrepresentation . The beach on premises can hold about 10 people ..The room was huge , 2 bedrooms, 2 baths , vast verandah ,sparsely furnished, full kitchen . Great pool but children were allowed only at another distant pool . really family oriented !!! This is really a condo , not a hotel, managed by the owner and not too well . This is no 5 star property as the website makes it out to be ..

The Lingganay Hotel is a quiet oasis far removed from the noise and crowds on the other side of the island but not so far away that you can't enjoy the chaos before retreating back to enjoy a peaceful swim or time on the private beach.

Breakfast in NOT included. For the first time I see a hotel that does not offer breakfast included. The previous reviews tell about diversified breakfast but in fact it turned out that breakfast in NOT included. It is quite disappointing to find out it when you get up in the morning in your first day, go to restaurant and they bring you price list.

Quite hotel away from the DMall.
The shuttle arrives quite fast to pick you up upon your call. We bought local sim card and was sending sms every day to call for the shuttle.
They change towels every day. Clean well.

Very nice, but with a few quirks..

Pro's: Location. It’s located about a 15-minute drive away from D'Mall and White Beach. That could be a pro or a con depending on your idea of a vacation. It’s built into the side of a mountain and every room has a spectacular view. The room I stayed in was very clean, modern, roomy and comfortable. Beautiful gardening, a very nice private beach. Everything worked. Two pools of the most beautiful I've ever seen in my life that overlooks the ocean. The staffs in general are very friendly.

The Odd: The front office: Doormen await you, no uniform of any kind. The reception - in a country with an excess of HRM graduates, you would expect a place of this apparent magnitude to have a proper counter with staff standing at the ready waiting to check you in but no, it’s a table with a computer on it. It’s not that professional, frankly,. No phone in the room. If you need to contact the front, expect to huff it up and down a steep hill. Our room was near a guard shack and the guard thought it was a good idea to whistle and tune his radio at a loud volume around 6 o’clock in the morning, waking us. WiFi was mediocre at best. The food in the restaurant was \"okay\". (Hint: if you serve toast, you need to also offer butter with it). There is a shuttle service to D'Mall which was easy to catch leaving, but hard to catch coming back.

Would I go back here? Yes, I would. Just expect a few oddities and you will enjoy it.

Diamond in the Rough

Four of us stayed here. My husband's brother & his wife's room was excellent, never had any problems with their air onditioner. Our first room was fine for the 1sth few of days and then the air con. did not work, so they put us in another room and the air worked just fine. The rooms were both neat and clean, kitchen pots & pans, kitchen tools, etc. would be nice to have in the room. Wash cloths for shower needed. Laundry facility would be nice. Also it would nice if the whole place was non-smoking. Having people smoke ruins the whole ambiance of being in a paradise setting. Also we saw Chinese people coughing up loogies (flem) in the pool. Some signs around the pools about not spitting in the pool in multiple languages, we feel, would be appropriate. Seeing and hearing this happening while we were sitting eating at the restaurant by the pool lost our desire to go in the pool, not to mention our appetite. We renamed your pool \"Oyster Bay.\" Over all the Hotel was very nice and they kept things neat and clean. The workers aimed to please the customers with their needs. The food in the restaurant was excellent we never had a bad meal and we ate several different meals. The mango shakes were excellent! The Filipino people are very friendly. Gardeners kept the grounds very nice and the guards did a good job and the shuttle service was nice too.

This hotel is very nice for peace and quiet. Our room overlooked the pool and ocean and the private beach was only a couple feet away. The staff was really friendly and they have a shuttle on call 24/7 to go to White Beach. it's not a 5 star luxury resort or anything but the accommodations were good, and the 1 bedroom suite was huge with a kitchen, large balcony, and good view. I highly recommend the hotel for someone on a budget or someone looking for a vacation apartment style hotel. Also, the hotel has really good German food.

Great Hotel but far from the Beach

The hotel was fantastic however, was a 10 minute shuttle from the beaches and sometimes you have to wait for a long time for the shuttle. There are no shops near the hotel so the shuttle is the only option. The hotel itself has meals and a bar and the rooms cannot be faulted.

Beautiful Resort in Picturesque Setting

This resort exceeded my expectations. It is in a beautiful setting off the beaten path, but still just a few minutes to the center of town by shuttle or trike. The rooms are modern and new. The staff is friendly, though perhaps a bit inexperienced. The grounds are well-manicured and full of fruit trees and flowers. The decor of the restaurant and lobby and the design of the buildings are very attractive. The swimming pools are sparkling clean and inviting. The room price is very reasonable, as is the cost of food and drinks at restaurant and bar. The quality of the food is excellent. Even the cost of drinks from the frig in the room is reasonable. The rooms are kept clean and bright, and the housekeeping service is prompt, courteous, and thorough.

1. Room is 3 times bigger than on the other side (white beach)

4. Water is calm as of May, heard that it could vary seasonally
5. The German owner is very friendly, and so are the staffs.

Absolutely Beautiful Resort

After staying in a less superior resort, I moved my last two days to Lingganay resort, for just a few dollars more I was stunned by the room. The large suite, with kitchen and separate bedroom was beautiful and quickly became my location of choice for future return trips.
