This is the best hotel in Hitachi. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Makes a long business trip a bit more enjoyable. The breakfast is good and they have a good coffee maker in the breakfast buffet.

I sometimes go to Hitachi and usually stay at this hotel. It is located just in front of the Hitachi Station (less than 5 minute walk). Not a gorgeous hotel, but very clean and comfortable. There was a free massage chair in the room, which was a positive surprise! (I don't think every room has it). The restaurant on the 1st floor is also very nice for breakfast.

Hotel room is very clean including the bed, bathroom.and floor. Very comfortable. Also very convenient as it is located just in front of the Hitachi station. There are restaurants and bars near the station, and you can go back to the hotel after eating / drinking by walk. The buffet restaurant on the 1st floor is recommended for breakfast (Only JPY1,000 + tax).

ホテル出入口傍の駐車スペースを提供して頂いたものの、道路から駐車スペースにバックで入れる時に 歩道へ上がるスロープの設置位置が悪く、ホテルスタッフの方からのアドバイス無しには停められなかった。私のように車高の低い車の場合、特に夜間ではトラブル無く駐車するのは至難の業だと思うので、せめてスペースの再設置を検討すべき。

とにかく煙草臭い…混合部屋フロアーとのことでした。禁煙部屋なのに…。部屋を変えてくれました。でもまた混合部屋フロアーなので臭いが全く無くなったわけではありません。喫煙部屋が少ないからまだましというだけ。

日立の駅の周辺は食べ物屋が少なすぎで疲れて帰ってきたときのルームサービスは非常にありがたかったです。
スクエアさんはビジホではない立派なホテルなんで現場から帰ったみたいな、あんまり汚いかっこで入るとちょっと恥ずかしいです。

数々の高規格ホテルが出現している中、進化が見られない。部屋や浴室の狭さ、シャワー設備の不便さ、レストラントイレの構造や清掃状態、スタッフの方の少なさ、目配りの不足、等々、せっかく立地条件が良いのにもったいないと思った。

Breakfast service was a nightmare. Most of the food plates were almost empty and there were many people waiting for the food coming. When the food was finally delivered, there were no plates. There seemed to be also short of staff, although they should have known in advance how many people would be coming for breakfast. It was a very unpleasant morning.
