Super cute hotel staff was nice. Breakfast was really yummy. However, the mattress our bed had felt like springs a little tough on the body and the top sheet was in the closet so we didn’t have it on the bed and we woke up freezing in the middle of the night and couldn’t find our top sheet.

Such a lovely hotel. Located in the Latin Quarter --- you're in the heart of shops/restaurants and city life. I nearly stayed at Marriott, which is located outside of the center and much more expensive-- I'm so glad I pivoted to stay here. Breakfast was lovely. Staff exceptional. Hotel is lovingly maintained. Was grateful for a wonderful stay-- highly recommend.

Perfect hotel for central Hanoi. Location was perfect; 8mins walk to Old Quarters, Nite Market and Hoan Kiem. Reception staff was excellent, seated us with drinks after collecting our passport to prepare check in. Breakfast was so sumptuous and the staff were super friendly. We are coming back to stay here again after our short Sapa trip. Hotel is 8mins walk to Sapa Sleeper Limo Bus Terminal.
Hotel was value for money.

The staff were very kind and friendly, and the cleaners did an amazing job at keeping our rooms tidy. However, the whole place was much older than we expected from the photos. No stairs for the first two floors so unless you’re staying at ground level, you will have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to the lift. The initial room was like a basement that smelled mouldy, they luckily gave us another room, but even the better room had mould between the shower tiles and the shower floor was extremely slippery so we both had falls in the shower. There was a good selection of food at breakfast, and the location was fantastic. However, I will opt for a more modern, cleaner hotel next time I visit Hanoi.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us a free upgrade to a bigger, newer room. We only stayed one night before we flew back home. Our flight was a night flight so after we checked out, the staff were kind enough to hold our luggage, let us use the facilities as much as we needed and even gave us another room for a short time so we could have showers and freshen up before our flight.

They were also incredibly helpful in calling different shops for us where we needed to make bookings and gave plenty of advice in getting around.

As we booked a so called family room to suit 3 people for 8 nights, we were surprised to be given a dreadfully small box that was both extremely cramped, restrictive and very uncomfortable.
At only around 18 SqM that included two double beds, a single 1m wardrobe, a single bedside table and a small coffee table, the room was so cramped that two people could not pass each other in the space available. There was no wall shelving, no drawer space and a 2x2m shower room. We were forced to live out the suitcases for the duration of the trip.
When I asked if there was a larger room that would be more suitable for three persons, all I received was a shrug of the shoulders. In other words, the reception staff really didn’t care.
The breakfast was also bearly adequate and repetitive.
This was our first visit to Hanoi and probably the last given this bad experience.

I like the location and the buffet breakfast but other than that I was not happy booking with them the Halong bay tour because I paid extra to be on a private limousine with only 6-9 people and they put us on a tour bus with 20 people. I paid extra to be on a small group of people and when I complained nothing happened. I will definitely go somewhere else next time to book a tour and the hotel stay. The shower is draining slowly, I have to let it drain to open the shower again.

Near to every restaurants and convenience store especially in the train street! The room is spacious also! Super big and I love it. It is very comfortable! Lastly, I love their breakfast! Although few food choices in their buffet breakfast, they are fresh. I am not certain if the management knows that there are lots of garbage under their bed frames. The problem of their bed frames is that the cleaners may not really be able to clean underneath as there is barely enough space for their cleaning tools to reach the spaces under the bed frames

Staff, in particular Mimi, were incredibly helpful. I gave Mimi very short notice to arrange a Halong Bay Tour & within hours, the tour was booked & confirmed, she stayed with me until the bus picked me up AND organised my laundry to be cleaned and sent to my room on very short notice. As a solo traveller in Ho Chi Minh City, I felt very well taken care of.

Our 6 nights stay in Hanoi Royal Palace 2 Hotel was quite ok.
The hotel is in a good location, the ladies in the reception are very polite and helpful, the facilities are satisfactory
for the price range.
We had a pleasant stay there,... until our last day's the last couple hours there.
Until we discovered, during the short time while we head our breakfast, both of our wallets, when left behind the locked room, had been swindled with.
From both wallets delicately had been nicked out all the US$ and AU$ notes, also the larger local Dongs, then...they slyly left behind a large bundle of almost worthless local bills (monopoly money) perhaps enough for a sandwich there.
(100000 dong = au$5.00)
While other, more easily identifiable items, - like tablet, phone, watches - left behind, remained untouched.
The room was completely electrically locked, not any forced entry signs were detected. All windows were tightly locked.
When we left for breakfast in the neighbouring, alreay unoccupied, rooms some of the cleaning staff had working. They well could noticed when we left our room for breakfast. The corridors are fitted with safety cameras.
When noticed the theft, I complained immediately and asked the camera videos to be checked! Then I had been told; only the manager can do that.
Being Sunday, the time the manager turned up we almost had to leave to the airport.

As for the noise… up at 6 every day because of traffic noise and vietnamese not speaking but literally yelling when opening their mouth. but then again, if you don t like noise, crowd and pollution don t go to Hanoi. Unless you pay a hundred bucks for your room in a high rise tower this is what you ll get in the old quarter of Hanoi! (Or the French Quarter in Nola for that matter).
Next trip? Somewhere cold, clean and quiet (Finland, Canada, Siberia …?)😆

They really looked after us. All the staff put in a huge effort to welcome you and look after every detail.
Everyone at the deal speaks great English an nothingis too much trouble. We chat easily about Vietnamese life, family differences to Australian culture, elocution lessons for speaking the lingo, we find out the word for joke, as there is so much laughter abounding in the contagious hospitality we have experienced over our 3 day stay here, how can we not return next year, we ask ourselves.?

We stayed in different hotels during our stay in Vietnam and this one was one of our best. The room is not the biggest but everything is there, whatever you need. It's comfortable and the design is amazing. It feels really welcoming. We got an upgraded room with a big window. The staff is very nice and helpful. They really did the best to make our stay great. Highly recommended!

The location and room price were great for us (Family: 71F, 44F, 36M).Forgot that breakfast was included, so that was a fantastic bonus to our stay. Walking distance into the main area, but not super close that it was noisy, I'd say the location was perfect for us.
