This is an okay place to stay, in a pinch. It was clean and had a good bed and was quiet, amazingly enough given that it's a bar and grill and had a huge event going on the night I stayed. The issue I had was the metal door latch that should prevent the door opening inward from the outside was broken on the entry door and the door that exits to the courtyard. Further, there was no hair dryer in the room and no telephone to call the front desk to see if they had a hair dryer. The night I stayed the cable was out but the motel gave me a $15 discount, which I thought was generous.

Very noisy all night with live music. The heater/ac made a terrible screeching sound. The tv did not work the entire 2 days we were there. Worst thing was being locked out of the hotel after we went out for breakfast. The lobby didn’t open until 11. No one answered the main hotel phone. We tried 3 different doors to get back to our room, but the key did not work in any of the locks. No hotel employees were around to let us into the building. I complained at the front desk later in the day, but no response from mgmt, other than moving us to a new room further from the music.

The hotel is attached to a comedy club and a bar and grill that becomes a nightclub at night . It’s just off I-83 . So convenient location. Food was delicious, it’s a bit loud at night especially if you have a room close to the bar .

The hotel part or at least the rooms themselves are in dire need for updating, beds were comfortable. Tv was under sized for the room and the bathroom door was missing door handle center plunger pin / mechanics so the door couldn’t be closed tight without sliding the trash can in front of it.
All and all the hotel is clean, has plenty of parking including truck and RV parking, and the price is great especially compared to the other hotels at the exit .
At least the ones that you would be willing to stay at., and super convenient with for/bar and entertainment onsite.

Jenna was great. The only issue is check in times. No one at the desk 24 hours, I had to check in at 11 the next day because I had to leave a few hours later for my trip and it put me there after check in time.
The restaurant food is excellent and overall all it was a pleasant stay.

Our stay was terrible. The name hotel for this place is a joke, it’s more of a motel so don’t be fooled. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the check in process was not clear. The motel section of the Magnuson was confusing since is attached to a restaurant. Honestly, it seems like the motel was a secondary thought when compared to the restaurant it was attached to, almost like a flip gone wrong. There are no phones in the rooms to call the front desk with, our traveling companion’s room was disgusting, his bed had stained sheets and a tub that had a yellow ring around it. Our room had what looked like splatters of possible food from a previous guest on the wall and the chairs were dirty. The front desk lady was nice enough to change our companion to a slightly cleaner room but the couches and chairs in his room were horribly stained and foul looking. The beds were hard as rocks, I’m not sure how anyone could get a good nights rest. We ended up leaving in the early hours of the morning because neither one of us could really fall asleep or relax, so not do not recommend staying here, we just happened to have to book due to other hotels being sold out but we would’ve been more comfortable sleeping in the car or driving straight home after our event instead of wasting our time trying to get some sleep there. I will say, the food at the attached restaurant was very good.

I think the expression goes, “if it is too good to be true”.

Don’t be confused with the Budget-in, that shares a courtyard, parking lot, and dumpster that has several dirty mattresses around on the ground. This is the type of environment, where it may be cheaper for people to stay than pay rent. The front desk closes at 7pm, so you’ll have to go into the restaurant, and check in. Which isn’t awful, just confusing. Once you walk through the doors, you will see a nice average looking restaurant, that also has a few gaming areas, that the kids will immediately love! Once you pass through the double doors, to the hotel area, you will be greeted (in the hallway) with the smell of your old, smoky Aunt, and something else that people smoke for their glaucoma concerns. We ordered a deluxe non-smoking room. At first, I thought maybe the photos on the website were taken with a .5 lens. Although we booked a non-smoking room, our room (that was eligible for smoking) per the room number sign, did not smell nearly as bad as the hallway. Not only is the room not temperature regulated, you HAVE TO keep the fan consistently going all night, or you will hear the individual in the room next to you violently vomiting at 5 AM. Or, when an individual starts their very loud motorcycle right outside your bedroom window, at 7 AM. The room conveniently has 2 doors. The door from the hallway that has an overwhelming aroma, and a door to the outside court area which has a beer bucket for your butts

I just stayed for one night on a Friday. The hotel is attached to a Bar/comedy club/club. I got there early and ate at the restaurant. It was very quiet but after 9PM it turns into a bar/club. it has indoor and outdoor seating with a DJ. It also has a game room. The place was very active. The hotel room was very nice and clean. Bigger than what I expected. This is a great place to just lay your head and a good starting point to site see around the area. This place is great if you are a younger couple, as it has a party like atmosphere, but it did not get in the way of me getting a good night sleep. The desk person who registered me was also very nice.

Would have enjoyed a little more comfortable bed, but overall this place was fantastic. I stayed for 3 nights, I arrived very late on night one, and the host could not have been more accommodating. Room was clean, generally quiet after last call. We were close to the bar and restaurant. The staff at the bar was amazing, great bartenders. We arrived late every evening and it was great to wind down there every night. Will stay again when in the area.

This place was so cool! I loved the quiet. Right down the hallway? A beautiful bar a restaurant and pinball pool tables it’s like a night out and then you can walk back to your room no driving! The only good thing about the place is the rooms were semi clean. Some are the Cons: woke up daily to the smell of marijuana in the halls, No one is ever at the front to answer questions, when you call the number sometimes you will get an answer and sometimes you won’t, top sheet on bed only no fitted sheet, pillows are flat, no place to really get ready, no iron in the room, when showering the water doesn’t drain so you’re standing in your dirty water, tv remote was broke and duct taped, could only watch one channel, the whole environment felt like the ghetto, I highly recommend if you have children to not take them there, you couldn’t get the room to a perfect temperature, and I could go on and on. I will never give this place my business again!

Hotel has given my boyfriend and I 4 key cards the first 2 key cards did not work the room we went back and got 2 more key cards that worked. My boyfriend and I left to get ice and our key cards has stopped working and we were locked out of our rooms with no phones, identification, car keys or any of personal belongings. Also my medicine I have to take every night at a certain time. We had to call a lock smith to open the door because there is no staff on sight at night and no phone number other than the front desk which no one answered. We also called the cops who never showed up. When speaking with manager the next morning and messaging the property via Facebook I was told that I committed a crime and was trying to extort the property as I wanted them to pay the lock smith bill. They also told me I made up the text messages with the lock smith. .. my bf and I left the room to get ice which there was no ice machine, our comforter on our nasty stains on it. DO NOT STAY HERE. We were locked out for 5 hours

Upon arrival was hard to find the hotel as it was located behind another hotel. At check-in found out that there is no round the clock staff so if you happen to lose your key or demagnetize your key, you are completely out of luck if you get locked out of your room. That being said, upon arriving to our room walking through the hallway and in the room, you could clearly tell that this is a smoking. Even though it stated it was non-smoking, which I need because my son is asthmatic. Once we got in the room the stench from old cigarette smoke was overwhelming , not to mention the room was just dirty. The sheets were stained. There was no telephone in the room. We went to try to plug in our phones to find out. There was literally one outlet that they already had an extension cord plugged into to operate the television, the microwave, and the little refrigerator in the room . So charging our phones had to be done out in our car. We also had to go purchase cleaning supplies to clean the room before we could even use the bathroom because it was just dirty. The only reason we ended up staying there was because it was just one night otherwise I would’ve left . Absolutely will never ever use this hotel again and do not recommend it. It is noisy, it is dirty and just not worth it.

It was ok!

We got this room on a whim for a wedding near by. The reviews i saw were not that bad. So we went for it bc of the price. The bedding was clean, the ac was good. The air quality in the room was poor. I also smelled weed and cigarette smoke coming from the hallway. Also there were some ants in the bathroom along with human hair in the toilet. Honestly wouldnt stay there again!

This was our second time staying there. The staff was great. On site we enjoyed the comidy club, playing pool and the atmosphere of the bar.
If you drive 10 to 15 min, there is a lot stores ,restaurants , and activities to do.
It is a great central located, then go back to relax, enjoy the bar and food without worrying about driving.

The staff was amazing at the restaurant, like hands down best we’ve ever had. However the hotel is disgusting. It’s more like a hotel for a one night stand after leaving the bar with a cheap date, not for families. There were two chairs in there we flipped over so our 4 year old wouldn’t touch them as they were stained with god knows what. Now….. the biggest issue is the motel next door. WOW how in the hell is that place habitable is beyond me. Cops circled all night so that made us feel better but I don’t want to stay in a place where cops are circling all night with me daughter. Major updates and cleaning would make this place awesome but the motel next door (and I mean RIGHT NEXT TO THE BUILDING) needs to come down. The boomerang restaurant was amazing! Great atmosphere, food, staff everything you could want. Even the other patrons were so friendly. Hotel bad restaurant amazing

For us the beds were too soft, the toilet was very short, I'm 6'6\"my knees were in my chest. The tv didn't work, until I found and plugged it in, the hair dryer didn't work. They also didn't tell us they lock the lobby door til 11am.

Newly remodeled hotel with beautiful rooms,friendly staff and excellent family friendly restaurant attached. Hot water, pressure, heat and AC all wonderful. Clean comfortable bed as well. Dont hesitate to stay here. Very comfortable and convenient. The only downside was not many TV CHANNELS.

Prior to my booking this hotel, it had 2 1/2 stars I think that Hass to be at least two stars too many. They scanned my identification and neglected to give it back to me. When I attempted to take a shower, the water was scalding hot and could not be cooled off I had to take a birdbath in the sink

Room was clean and nice, but the foundation of the bed was broke so 1 side was up higher then the other, made the bed so uncomfortable for me and my husband we got hardly any sleep. Since they don’t have anyone there after 9pm and no one comes back until 10am we couldn’t ask to have our room changed or anything. If the beds get replaced would stay again but not with the beds they have.

The front checkin person, Dora, was very warm and welcoming. She showed us around a bit and gave us a coupon for the restaurant, which was attached to the hotel. Place has pool tables, full bar, and comedy club. Pretty convenient. The hotel room was fairly barren, could have used a floor lamp since it was dark in there and the bathroom wasnt quit as clean as Id prefer but overall it was a good stay and Id go again.
