In unit open air Onsen was nice, but it became too noisy with people talking out loud at their open air Onsen. View from the unit was amazing. Dinner and the breakfast were outstanding. We experienced another amazing Japanese hospitality here.

Our room in traditional Japanese style was the size of a small apartment. Beautiful woodwork and tatami-mats. Nice view of the water with comfortable sitting area. Easily walkable to train and bus station. While i don't remember signing up for it, dinner and breakfast were included and delicious.

There aren’t a ton of options if you want to stay in the area. This is a decent option, but lower your expectations. It’s a 2 star hotel at best. It’s old, run down, and dated but the staff are cheerful and the views are nice, which made it made a fine place to stay. We did not get the meal plan but every restaurant in town was fantastic so it was good to get out and walk around.

Staff was very welcoming prior to check in and the effort to converse with us in English was very much appreciated as we knew limited Japanese. They made sure to notify us of all their available amenities and we were lucky to join one of their star gazing events the night we had stayed their that was led by cafe owners nearby. The meals they serve were wonderfully presented as they shared details of what was provided and the rooms were spacious. The location was near the station and walking distance from the beach. Definitely a wonderful location if you plan to do more outdoor activities with Nachi Falls a bus ride away, and the beach within walking distance.

Beautiful view of the sea, large rooms.
*my only disappointment was that when we wanted to go for dinner at the hotel restaurant we were told we had to book it a day in advance ( nothing was ever mentioned about this on the Expedia site ) so I don’t blame the hotel, I blame Expedia. So if you are booking this hotel and want to eat at the restaurant, make sure you do so in advance.
Luckily there was a charming/ excellent family restaurant across the street called Tairyou ( I highly recommended it ;)

We opted for a private onsen in the room. The private onsen was outdoor wtih a shower and faucet, making it uncomfortable in the cold to shower and wash before soaking in the onsen. There were no inside shower or bath in my unit. Adjacent to the outdoor bath is a path, not sure whether it is for the public or garden care. Either way, my wife was dismayed when someone walked along the path.
Hotel room is somewhat outdated. Need renovation.
We had dinner and breakfast for 2 nights and food was good but not exciting.

booked to visit the waterfall & World Heritage sites, which were sublime, and we equally enjoyed the hotel experience. gorgeous lobby felt like a mossy forest. we had beautiful ocean & mountain view from room & from onsen. the meals were a taste of Japan prepared especially for our vegetarian diets, which we sincerely appreciated. there were dance performances that we did not expect that were a treat. & the short walk around the coastal corner to see an island torii gate was a cherry on top. I don’t know if we will ever be back in this part of the world, but dream of returning & would book this hotel

We had a 9th floor suite with a personal hot springs tub on the deck. We had gorgeous views and the biggest suite I have ever been in. You can spend your entire visit in their robes in the hotel or you can see the nearby Nachi Waterfall. The traditional Japanese included meals were a lot of fun and also had views of the water. We didn’t check out the shared hot springs, but I bet those were nice too as so many people seem to come for them. I would recommend this to anyone! I celebrated my birthday here and splurged! It was perfect!

Interesting experience

It is a hotel more traditional than I expected. No regular chairs in the room, we sat on cushions on the floor and this took some getting used to. The water view is pretty and the bento breakfast and dinner were novel and interesting. Also traditional clothing is provided to all guests to wear to meals and move about the hotel property. Shoes off to enter restaurants. Interesting experience. Good base to visit some of the Kumano Kodo Taishas in Hongu, Shingu and Naichi.

とにかくスッタフの対応が丁寧でホスピタリティにあふれていた。
施設自体は古さを感じるが、その中でいろいろ楽しめるように工夫している感はありました。清掃も◎まではいかないが行き届いていた。
あえて細かいところで、お味噌汁を座ったあとに届けてくれるのですが、夜も朝もぬるかった。せっかくの後出しなのだからもう少しあついほうが。外国の方も多い感じなので合わせているのかな。大浴場も露天はちょうどよかったのですが、屋内風呂はぬるかったです。
それでも、それを補ってあまりあるスッタフさんのホスピタリティがよかったです。また来たいと思わせてくれる対応でした。

昨年と違う部屋にしましたが景色が最高でした。
お料理も美味しかったです。接客は凄く親切で物腰柔らかく、気さくに話せるのがいいですね。
１つ星が少ないのは、寝室の電気を調節できたらよかったかな？と思いました。

熊野古道那智の滝に行くために宿泊しました。
部屋は新しくはないが清潔で
海も見えて景色が綺麗でした。
食事もとても美味しかったのですが
薄味が好きな私には少し塩味が強かったです。
スタッフの気のいいお兄さんと仲良くなって
食事の時間がとても楽しかったです。
相方の誕生日で宿泊したので
お誕生日も祝ってもらえて
最高な想い出になりました。
温泉もとても良ったので
次回は滝が見えるともっと嬉しいです。

建物は全体的に古く、もう少し掃除されていれば古くても清潔感があって良かった。
サービスは良く、ラウンジのドリンク飲み放題、担々麺月代わり無料サービス２１〜短時間
梅酒試飲（とても飲みやすい）シャンプーバーもありました。
部屋に入れとオーシャンビューが目に飛び込みますが畳の古い匂いがキツく空気清浄機を強にして騒音で過ごしました。
朝まで匂いは変わらなかった。
ミネラルウォーターサーバー（廊下）までボトルを持って汲みに行かないといけない。
サービス菓子は鮪煎餅でした。
脱衣所の換気扇がホコリが積もりアレルギーが出てしまいました。

温泉は広く温度はぬるめでした。
中国人観光客女性が露天風呂の出入り引き戸を壊して、露天風呂に出れなかったので従業員に電話してドアを直してもらいました。
対応は早かったです。

コインランドリー利用したのですがモバイル払いは可能だが現金の両替ができずフロントまで戻る事になったのが不自由でした。
洗濯機は使いました400円
乾燥機は特に埃で汚いので使えなかった。
1日2回位は清掃するべき。
朝食は、地産地消の食材で、どれも美味しかった。

温泉はシャンプーバーがあって、いろんなシャンプートリートメント（ドラッグストアでよく売ってるもの）を選ぶことができました。備え付けのよくあるものは髪の毛がきしむので、ありがたかったです。スタッフも丁寧で明るい接客でした。施設内は所々古さを感じましたが、リニューアルしたとのことで部屋の中はキレイで不自由なかったです。夕食のマグロが美味しかったのと、沢山のご当地ものが食べられて良かったです。

Vue magnifique et très bon dîner et petit-déjeuner

La vue sur la baie de la chambre et du restaurant est magnifique. La chambre traditionnelle japonaise était grande mériterait un rafraîchissement. Les murs présentaient en particulier pas mal de raillures. Par contre les tatamis étaient en parfait état. La propreté de la chambre n'était pas très bonne avec pas mal de poussière (par exemple sur le cadre décoratif et sur la sortie de clim).
J'ai trouvé le dîner japonais traditionnel de la demi pension excellent et copieux. Je suis resté deux jours et ils s'arrangent pour proposer un menu différents.
Le petit-déjeuner traditionnel japonais est bon.
De plud le personnel est très agréable et compréhensif.
Au final, malgré ses défauts j'ai beaucoup apprécié cet hôtel avec sa demi pension.

まず、予約内容がきちんとホテル側に伝わっていなくて、料理が勝手に変更され更には予約通りの料理に戻して貰えずでした。料理を楽しみにしていたので非常に残念でした。

もう1つ楽しみにしてた温泉をしっかり楽しみたいと思い、入っていたところ日本人の方と海外の方がもめ始め、他にも女性の方が入浴しているにも関わらず、日本人の方がご主人を呼んでしまい裸の男性が女風呂に入ってきて大暴れしてしまう事件が起こりました。
ホテル側に責任は無いのかも知れませんが、この事件は非常識にも程があります。

決して安くない値段のホテル、料理や温泉を楽しみにしていた旅行だったのでとにかく残念でした。チェックアウトの時にも前夜の説明もされずとてもモヤモヤしたままの帰宅となりました。
