We got a suite with a private jacuzzi on the balcony - the view was great, but the place is falling apart a bit. The tub was leaking in places and had a slime-y residue inside, and multiple floorboard soft the balcony were rotted through and gave way underfoot. The photos here aren't quite reflective of the property's current state. Even in the public onsen, the windows are covered with salt on the outside, obscuring the view. Beautiful place and the food they serve was good, but some updates are much needed and we felt a bit gipped.

More like a strict camp rather than a holiday hote

It's like a Ryokan experience, so not really for me, neither for my Japanese partner...
Breakfast can only be had very early in the morning, you can choose 7 or 8am (they banged our door at 8:03am when we weren't at the breakfast table yet).

The onsen hot springs can only be used until 23:00 with booking (and no extra towels provided there), so basically you need to plan your entire trip around the hotel schedule. We hate this kind of attitude.

Futons will be put out by the staff, but the noisy old Aircon will blow directly on you.

Fantastic getaway from the busy urban life. Just up the hill from the beach and dock, nestled between a couple other hotels easily within walking distance to everything. The hotel was a very traditional style Ryokan with many different Onsen options. The food was fantastic and offered great views no matter where you sat. From the room views to the Onsen views, it was all perfect.

Happy stay with magnificent view

The outdoor onsen got beautiful view but you have to walk a long way from the shower area. Good service and both breakfast and dinner were good. Very delicious. Just the room condition was a bit dated. Beautiful sunset which you can see at the parking area.

Hotel is very old, both room
& facility, service is really so so, no clear sign for getting to outdoor onset, need taking many steps down to onsen, not convenient for old people, and no
towels provided. Food is also not as expected. Overall not really comfortable stay compare to the price.

露天風呂のプライバシーをもう少し家を使って欲しいと思います。私は木の柵のところに使用しない浴衣を掛けて目隠しにしました。

眺めのいいホテル

フロント、お部屋サービス、お食事、その他諸々スタッフの方々、皆さん感じ良くとても良くして下さいました。

昔からあるホテルなのでしょう、建物は古さはありますが、私達にとっては年季の入った感じがして、決して悪くありませんでした。
然るべき所はきちんと清潔にキレイにできていて不満は全くありませんでした。

お風呂は特に露天風呂は、本当に素晴らしかったです。(夜の露天風呂は晴れていて、最高の夜空の中入れました。ただし、夜なので基本的には海の生物達の活動時間。たくさん出てきますが、私達の方がお邪魔する…という気持ちでないと入れないかもですが(笑))

ロビーからの眺めもですが、全体的に眺めの良いホテルで、堂ヶ島の景色を楽しめました。

お世話になりました。

景観は最高。メンテナンスに期待。

堂ヶ島での立地は最高で、三四郎島が近くに見えて景観はとても良かった。建物の経年劣化は致した方ない面もあるが、壁紙の剥がれなどは気になってしまうのだ、少しずつでも改善されればなと思います。
海を臨める露天風呂が楽しみだったが、大浴場から一度出て浴衣を着て移動しなくてはならないのは、少々面倒でした。
食事はまぁ良かったです。ホテル内でほとんど写真を撮らなかったので、食べかけの料理で恐縮ですが、お品書きのみアップします。

エレベーターの不具合や居室ドアのサビ…全体的に設備が老朽化していました。

こどもの食事も、大人料理から品数を減らしたものでホームページ写真とは全く異なるものでした。
子供食にも関わらずわさびやわさび漬けなども平気でのせてあります。

露天風呂は散策路やマリンスポーツをしている方（海）から丸見えです。

建物は古いから、暗かったりはげていたりしかたがないけど、わたしはピカピカな感じより古臭くて味があってよかった。部屋は海に面して露天風呂つきだったので、サンセットの美しい空や海を眺めながら露天風呂に入るのは最高でした。

お部屋は二間続きのオーシャンビューで二人にはゆったり出来ました。綺麗に掃除されていましたが、海側の天井が雨漏りのシミが大きくありました。　従業員の方々は色々と声を掛けてくださり　とても感じ良かったです。
ただ、大浴場までエレベータがいかないので、　膝痛の私には、階段が辛かったです。また　大浴場と露天風呂が　繋がっていないので　着替えて更に階段を降りなければいけませんでした。　お風呂が　残念でしたね。

2間ある和室で、ゆったりできました。
ただ、テレビが置かれてある場所が、部屋の端だったので、真ん中にあると見やすいと思いました。
部屋、大浴場、露天風呂と海に面していて、最高でした。日没前にお風呂に入らなかったのは、残念でした。

そこで、いわれた言葉、
当ホテルでは、関係ないと、担当者のことば。

対応は文句なし！

スタッフの方は、海外の研修生が多かったですが、日本語も上手ですし、一生懸命対応してくれて、微笑ましかったです。
ホテル自体は古いので、それなりの設備で仕方ないですが、料理はビュッフェではなく、考えられていたので、美味しくいただくことができました。スタッフの皆さん、ありがとうございました。

Ryokan bem antigo e mal cuidado.

Não tivemos uma boa experiência nesse ryokan. É um ryokan bem antigo e não está tão bem cuidado. Em nosso quarto tinha uma barata ao lado de nossos futons. Já fui a outros ryokans no Japão, que foram reformados e estavam mais bem cuidados. Os onsens também aparentavam velhos e sujos. Os pontos positivos desse ryokan seriam a vista do quarto (uma linda vista do pôr do sol), proximidade da estação de ônibus de Dogashima e a simpatia dos funcionários. O café da manhã também é gostoso, com varias peixes e comidas japonesas tradicionais. Porém pela condição do hotel, não indicaria para outras pessoas.

お気に入りです

露天風呂が好きなのですが、眼前に波しぶきがあがるオーシャンフロントであり、ワイルドな感じ。熱めの湯なのですが、3か所に区切られ、長く入るには一番ぬるい湯に入るのですが、一番狭い。欲を言えば隣接の小松ビューホテルの露天の跡地が放置されているのを整理してほしいが、昔共存していた頃よりはゆっくり入れる。

다 만족스러웠지만 여성일행들이 온천을 하는중에 청소시간이 2시간 남았는데 남자종업원이 욕탕안으로 들어와서 클레임을 걸었지만 죄송하다는 말만 들었다.
들어온 사람이 죄송하다는 말과 함께 이유를 설명해줘야 되었지않았을까?

糟糕的日本溫泉酒店

第一次住溫泉酒店，體驗差到需要投訴：
1.入住時安排之房間與訂房時hotels.com顯示之房型不同，詢問酒店職員，他們回覆好多旅客都反映此問題，但一直無改善，請hotels.com與該酒店解決此問題。
2.另外，本人此次選擇日式房，但搞笑是食飯前5分鐘，酒店職員已進入房內打算準備床鋪，到翌日食完早餐回房打算休息再睡覺，竟然已收起床舖，天啊，我不是第一次住日式房，這是見過最奇怪的服務，食完早餐就不能再睡覺嗎？
3. 房間竟然有蟑螂，太不能接受，叫職員捉走蟑螂後，但酒店連一句道歉都沒有，這是我遇過最糟糕的日本溫泉酒店。
4. 房間所有設施歹舊，餐具不太乾淨
不會推薦朋友選擇此酒店
