A great NEW hotel
This is a brand new hotel, in excellent condition, complete with all facilities including very good car parking. Our only problem was due to it being new, the car GPS did not recognise the phone number, so we had to get help by locating a shop nearby, and using that phone number in order for us to locate the hotel.
Our problem through Japan was getting someone who could understand and speak minimal English, even in the best hotels the staff could not understand the word 'ice' which we found surprising

I may have been unlucky with the room assignment. It smelled like body odor. It's the only time it's happened to me at a Route Inn. Other than that, it's everything you would expect from a nice business hotel. Nice facilities. Covered parking. Great breakfast.

今回の旅行中、幸い大きな街に泊まれる際はルートインを利用させてもらった。青森中央インターは新しくて魚津は古かった。そのせいで魚津の椅子はへたっていてタオルも堅かったが他は満足している。

加湿空気清浄機は嬉しいサービスですが、初めから使えるようにセッティングしておいてもらえてると嬉しい。（コンセントが束ねてあって、差し込み口を探したのと、タンクの中の水も空だったので、自分で補給しました）

ルートインホテルグループの標準的な部屋の作りでした。ホテルの部屋数自体は少し小さいようで、フロントや朝食の込み具合は少しだけ余裕があるように感じました。最寄り駅から1.2キロあり、途中坂道のため、駅利用には少し難があります。但し、ホテルの周りにはロードサイド店が豊富であり、車利用では大変快適でしょう。
