Great hotel in a great location. The staff was super accommodating, and the rooms were pretty spacious. Also, there are toilet toiletries in the lobby that you can take up to your room that have everything you'll need for your stay. Just a great hotel in general.

Sunroute Plaza is a nice hotel, conveniently located near the Shinjuku Train Station. Less than 10 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is clean. Rooms are smaller compared to US hotels. The hotel provides all the basic amenities, including slippers and pajamas. The staff is helpful. They also provide baggage forwarding service to the next destination, if one does not want to carry their luggage with them.

the staff was so helpful and they did speak English which helped a lot. Both the room and the hotel were very clean. the airport shuttle stop was conveniently located in front of the hotel. they had an extensive breakfast which included both Japanese food and American. there was also a coffee house located directly next door with a connecting door where I had one of the best coffees I've ever had. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The hotel itself is situated in an excellent spot in Shinjuku. It is only a 10 minute walk to the station, but there are still tons of things to do in Shinjuku if you do not feel like going out too much. Rooms are very clean and the free amenities in the lobby were great. It also has excellent sound proofing. I could barely hear any sounds from rooms around us except maybe the occasional footsteps upstairs, but nothing that would wake you up. I am a light sleeper so this was great. The A/C is good and quiet. The rooms are tiny, so take that into consideration, but that is usual for a hotel in the city.

The front desk staff were very helpful when my mother left her bag on the airport limousine bus. They were able to call the bus company and identify the bag for us. We were able to get it back the next day.

I would highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel. Staff were hospitable and helpful. Amenities were great. Location was excellent and accessibility to everything was great. The airport limousine picks up straight outside so getting to the airport with our luggage was a breeze. Great restaurants right outside the hotel. Room cleanliness was ok. We asked for our room to be made but they did not remove and replace the coffee cups we used. I had to ask front desk for fresh ones on the third day and after we used them, they still weren't collected over our 5 day stay. Regardless we still enjoyed the hotel. I consider it an excellent choice and would book again if I ever return to Shinjuku.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Shinjuku train station. A short five to six minutes walk. The staff was very polite and helpful during the check in process. There is a baggage forwarding service available until noon. That is very helpful for those who don’t want to carry their luggage while moving from one city to another. For a small fee the service will send the baggage to the next hotel the next day.

Enjoyed staying here! Staff were very helpful and attentive. This is another family focused and large group hotel. Everything was updated and clean. They are conveniently located next to Shinjuku Station and shopping areas. We were able to walk from here to Gyoen Gardens for the Cherry Blossom viewing. They also have a station for Baby Cal the stroller rental company. There is also a bus company that stops here to drop off and pick up tourist headed to the airport. They offer washer & dryer on site. Staff are helpful and patient. I would stay here for my next travels to Tokyo.

The hotel is at great location. 6-8mins of walking distance from Shinjuku station. For some lines, the exit is just next to the hotel not all the lines.

Some that need improvement:
The toilet paper is sooooo thin. You will need to end up using a lot to prevent it broken on your hand.
After the first cleaning, one of our beddings has dried blood on it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sunroute Plaza Hotel. The staffs are amazing and are extremely helpful. They answered all my email questions in a timely manner. Most importantly, they were able to give me 2 rooms next to each other (booked 2 rooms). Hotel is in a great location, away from the dramas but not too far at the same time. Will def stay there again

Excellent breakfast, great choices every morning, especially for the marathon. Location was great, around 15 mins walk to the marathon start. Staff, room, everything else was great as well. Bed is elevated so you can put your luggage underneath the bed so it's not as cramped up as a lot of other hotels in Tokyo

It was an amazing location for first timers, close to the metro, the airport limousine does a stop on the hotel so it is very convenient. Lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Everything was excellent about this hotel except the housekeeping service. The front desk, concierge, etc. were more than capable of assisting us with any need. The housekeeping staff would never leave us with the correct amount of towels, and did not remove our trash when they serviced our room.

The rooms were rather spacious for a Japanese hotel. You could put your suitcases under the bed. The twin beds were sufficient enough for 2 adults and 2 younger children to stay comfortably. The bathroom was spacious as well, and I enjoyed all amenities

I would definitely stay at this hotel again, even if it means getting two rooms as my family gets older. The location was convenient, the staff friendly, and the rooms worth the money.

This was a good hotel in a great location. We had no problems but at the same time it was the worst hotel of our trip but the most expensive. The bed was very hard and some of the furnishing felt quite cheap and dated. Also the hotel didn’t provide any water in the rooms. It was little things like that that stood out to us which made this hotel less good value. However if you’re looking for a central Shinjuku stay this would do the trick.
