A warm welcome when we checked in. Staff were happy to change the breakfast to include porridge oats. There was a coffee pot and some choice over breakfast. The bed was comfortable & firm. Sheets cotton and changed daily. The bathroom was small but functional. The was a table and 3 hard chairs but no easy chair(s). Parking on the street & plentiful. There was a TV but I didn't try it. Internet kept dropping but it was via a satellite in such a remote area. About 400 m walk until the restaurants and bars started. A quiet area. Room was spotlessly clean. The room was very warm - nights soon got cold. Room was a little dated. Small kitchenette provided all that was needed for breakfast.

Romina and Gustavo provided a great stay. Immediately on check in, Gustavo explained that he was a mountain guide and helped to plan the right hikes for our stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was provided the night before so you could eat early before trekking the next day. The hosts provided trekking poles if you wanted, which was extremely helpful and we highly recommend using them. The only thing to be aware of is the walls are pretty thin so we woke up many nights from noisy neighbours or people walking up/down the stairs.

Really impressed with the apartment. Gustavo was really helpful at check in, explaining he was a mountain guide and asking of we planned on a trek. He then gave us recommendation on a route and a bus fompany to contact to get to the start point at Rio Eléctrico.

Breakfast is provided on a tray for you to make yourself in the kitchen which was great. Beds were comfy and the shower was great. There is free parking outside.highly recommended

We had very enjoyable stay at El Chalten Aprts. The manager Romin is a very nice lady and very responsible to all our requests. The apartment is very spacious and can host three people. The apartment looks new, clean, has basically all cooking pots and utensils. The apartment is very quite and close to major trailheads in El Chalten area. I highly recommend it all anyone who plan to visit El Chalten.

Property was right in town, right inside mt Fitz Roy area. I liked the breakfast, it’s sent to your room late afternoon for you to eat at your pleasure. Yogurt, OJ, and milk are placed in your fridge along with fresh Calafate spread and Dulce de leche. Outside you have apples and bananas, along with bread. Super nice host, place is cozy and comfortable enough for 4 people.

Just stayed 2 units with a group of friends for 4 nights. I would highly recommend this apartment to future travelers as we are extremely happy about our experience. The apartment is super clean, spacious, and offer everything we need as hikers. The owner and staff bring breakfast every evenings as they know we leave early in the morning each day. The owner is very responsive to answer our questions, and keep communication active through WhatsApp prior and during our trip. Our checking-in is easy, we arrived late morning, the apartment were made available to us immediately. We got good information about hiking trails and restaurants.

The apartment units are in very convenient location, it is only 7 blocks to bus station and walkable to most trails nearby. Not mention that all the stores, restaurants, and shopping place are within walking distance.

On our last day of leaving, my husband forgot a suitcase inside the apartment after he locked door. We were able to reach out to Romina, and asked her husband locate the suitcase and rushed to the bus station the very last minute before the bus left. I cannot thank Romina and Gustavo enough for their help. They are super friendly and they made our trip in El Chalten memorable and pleasant. Thanks so much!!!

Clean cute quiet stay. 10 min walk from the bus station. Walk a block to food, a couple of blocks to coffee bakery grocery. Did not back up to hostel or bar so it was quiet. The host was helpful with dining options. As a climbing guide he also offered to connect us with tours. We were upstairs, they have downstairs options if needed. The room was well appointed with coffee and tea, breakfast tray with apples, toast, cereal, milk and OJ which was appreciated. Someone came and tidied up daily. Enjoyed our stay here, the host and location.

Location was great, rooms are cozy with high ceilings. We cooked for one meals and kitchen had all stuffs. You can use their hiking sticks from there without any charge. Manage by a wonder couple. We both guys went for a hike but wife of the owner provided map to my wife to take a shorter hike in the city and helped them how to turn on the woven. They are both husband and wife so sweet, cooperative, humble and sweet. MUST STAY HERE

However I Would not recommend for small children under age 4 family since our apartment has two beds on the loft with Hugh opening on the railings. This will be a dangerous layout for young children.

Romina & Guatavo are great receptionists. Great communication, checked in the morning instead of the afternoon. Gustavo is a mountaineer and will give you his best reco for a nice hike.
The apartment is super clean and modern. 2 blocks away from the buzz of downtown. The road is not paved and the surroundings are not super nice but the value of this peaceful location is worth it.
Breakfast is included and delivered to the apartment the day before.

Perfect Location and friendly Service

We stayed in El Chalten Aparts for 3 nights in late October. The check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were greeted warmly by the front desk representative and also given advice about Treks we could take on throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable, complete with full kitchen and clean bathrooms. The daily breakfast being left during our time out was very nice, as it felt more like a Bed & Breakfast vs. a hotel. The cleaning staff also did a great job and played with our toddler which was great to see. In terms of location, its perfectly positioned about two blocks from the main road but close walking distance to all areas and even a few trailheads. I would highly recommend for anyone planning to stay in El Chalten!

A spacious apartment with bedroom and adjoining fully fitted kitchen/dining area for the price of a standard hotel room. Great for people who sometimes want to prepare their our own meals or packed lunches as a break from buying out. The owner couldn't have been more helpful or laid back - always on call by WhatsApp. Everything was well maintained. We had 4 happy days/nights there and would throughly recommend it.
