Our check in was delayed because the room was not ready when promised, the deadbolt didn’t work on the door (we did tell the staff about it and it was never fixed), there was no housekeeping available and we had to ask for more towels (they didn’t even take the dirty ones away). The bathroom sink was extremely tiny and barely usable. Parking lot was very inadequate and awkward.

We did not have any shampoo or body wash in our shower. Room service is only offered three days a week so be sure if you need anything like coffee or clean towels. You have to go to the office and get them or requested other than that that the property was clean, and the beds were very comfortable

I thought the property was beautiful. The patio doors to a terrace or small deck for a sitting area was wonderful. I would of liked it closer to the casino but the shuttle was nice. Not having a place for breakfast nearby we drove a bit for this. I would stay again it was really nice and I would recommend it to others

Beautiful view of West Grand Traverse Bay. Crisp clean new sheets of good quality. Table and two chairs in the room created a very nice sitting area plus a comfortable desk chair. Only bad part is that because of the way the fridge and microwave are situated, you cannot see the TV from the sitting area. The TV, by the way, is very nice sized, modern but has no cable TV just free channels. No freezer in the fridge and very limited counter space in the bathroom.

The Lodge has had a major renovation so the material condition of the entire facility was like new. Off-season and mid-week, it was very quiet. Minimal staff was pleasant and efficient. Did not visit the casino. No dining facility in the Lodge. Convenient to restaurants.

The room was excellent, clean, comfortable with appealing decor. There was an outdoor area with the room with seating. We kept the sliding door open all night as there was a screen door. There is a path with steps that lead down to Lake Michigan. Ours was a quick overnight stop so we didn’t get down to the lake. We couldn’t see the lake from the room as the building is in the middle of a forest.

Property has been recently renovated, the rooms are beautiful, we had a view of the lake in the distance with an outside seating area. Linens and towels were amazing, with H2O products in the shower.

One small concern is they do not have blow dryers in the room or available at the front desk, staff indicated they had been on order since March. They indicated they were short staffed and our room was not ready until after 5:00pm, but we enjoyed the back out door seating area with an amazing view.

We just left this morning after a 3 night stay. The hotel was in excellent condition. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had a 2nd floor balcony facing Grand Traverse Bay with stunning views.The staff was very kind. The only reason I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5 rating is because:
1. Our Keurig was not working and not replaced. We were able to get delicious coffee in the lobby.
2. The wall device to hang our clothes on was broken off the wall and we had no place or hangers to hang our clothing.
3. We were unaware that the hotel does not automatically perform daily housekeeping. This is ok as we keep our room clean. However, a quick daily check by the staff to remove trash, replace used towels and replenish toilet paper would have been welcome.

When we arrived, our door was propped open. Later, I decided to take shower. There were no bath towels in my room and the room across the hall. We called the front desk and towels were walked up to our room. I showered and started to dry off and noticed a rank smell on the towel. I had my husband smell it and he agreed that they smelles like vomit. I reported it to the front desk . An apology was issued and they were going to talk with housekeeping.
