This is an older facility, but from what I was told, the owners are making changes and doing some upgrades. The room and bathroom were both clean and it was quiet. The bath towels were big and fluffy. It is one story, and you are able to park outside of your room. There is a pet fee, but it was more reasonable than others in the area, and there are grassy areas to potty your dogs. There are restaurants nearby and also a Walmart. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay there again. They were full both nights that we were there.

The room was tiny and freezing. They charged us an automatic $50 per room deposit but we did get in back in the morning. The breakfast was prepacked muffins and coffee. Lastly the price on one of the rooms was more than the others for some reason. It was a place to sleep inside. Thats my best evaluation.

It was obvious that they've put a lot of effort into refurbishing the place. The only negative was that they didn't offer a \"full breakfast\" as advertised. What they did have was coffee, juice & some pre-packaged muffins set out in the office for breakfast.

I prepaid and had a confirmation. Upon arriving, the owner insisted I put down a $50 dollar deposit. Your website doesn’t mention this and I have never had a hotel ask for this on your website. I didn’t have cash and he refused to check me in. I found another hotel but he is refusing to refund my money.

The one thing that I liked about the room was a speedy check-in. I was able to come in and go straight to sleep because I had been on the road for a long time. And all I wanted to do was get to bed. The bed was clean, comfortable, and that was what I needed. The bathroom needs to be updated more, as does the little. Sink area, but otherwise it was cleaned.The refrigerator was clean.It was very cold.It was a great overnight stay

I didn’t get to stay here and still had to pay. I was traveling from Des Moines to Branson and booked two rooms at Knights Inn. When it added it to my calendar, it flipped the address to a Kights Inn in Kirksville. So we ended up driving 3 and a half hours for nothing. So we missed the hotel and still had to pay despite calling.

We stayed here several weeks in a row, same night a week, and this last visit they wanted more funds at check in, not to mention it was late when we arrived and the office was locked and some what dim lighting, so no I didn't see the ring bell if locked, paper sign, so the wait and call to check in part was crap, when they say they are open 24 hours. Then the guy up charged us $50 on top of our reservation,, and we had been here several times already, so that was erking ..then told us we must come get him for a personal walk through when we check out, so then we had to wait again. There have been stays here, where they didn't fill the coffee bars, or not enough towels, or even a chair to sit in, even apon request, or last stay when the bedding was only made not changed, but he created us like we destroyed their property.

I was initially given a room that had no deadbolt or door latch. As a woman travelling alone, and with a ground level outside entrance, I felt very unsafe. I immediately went back to the service desk and they gave me a different room. The sink had clumps of gunky hair in it, and there were sticky insect traps around areas with insect poop visible. Better maintenance is needed.

I reserved a king smoking room and paid for it but at check in I was told they didn’t have any smoking rooms. What was the point of reserving and paying weeks in advance when you don’t get what you reserved? Not happy about that at all

The property is older but the room we stayed in looked like it has been updated. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom was tiny. We were in the area visiting family so only needed a place to sleep. Breakfast offered but we did not take advantage of that offering. Short drive to places to eat, Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Aldi's and gas stations. Also close to the highway to get to KC fast. The stay was nice and just what we needed.

You get what you pay for...

Let me start by saying, this was a last minute stay for us, so there weren't many options. The desk guy is nice a person but hates his job. So he'll greet you but then tell you that he won't be there, so good luck if you need anything after check-in. The motel is located by a busy, noisy road. So, it's loud. The room was dirty. Scuff marks and poorly patched holes on all the walls. Hair in the tub. Poop streaks and cigarette ashes in the toilet. Pretty gross. Definitely not a place you want to walk around barefoot. The heat worked well, so there's a plus. The bed and pillows were comfy and there weren't bed bugs, but a cockroach did crawl across the bed just as I was about to fall asleep. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much. The breakfast consists of 2 kinds of cereal and the smell of smoke, so if free breakfast is part of why you choose a place, this isn't it. Overall, if you just need a cheap place to sleep, this will do. You get what you pay for.

This is an older motel and very affordable. The owners have done many updates, bed was nice with good mattress and pillows, stylish headboard. Shower was newly tiled with new faucet. The sink vanity counter was a little high for face washing (my only complaint). Room had new mini-fridge, microwave and coffee-maker. Also grab-n-go breakfast in the lobby. My daughter had an issue with their door not locking and motel staff fixed it within 10 minutes, keeping us on-time for my nephew's wedding.

Very old but cheap remodeling. Chair in room was very dirty. Seal on the bottom of entry door was half missing so light shown in from parking lot lights. I put a towel across the floor like a draft blocker to keep bugs out. Bed was ok. Pillows were good. Older gentleman working both days was a complainer about long shifts and no one wanting to work. That same employee sat in a lobby chair and stood outside smoking a lot!

The staff was friendly, the extended continental decent, and it was all fairly clean. I did however rent a room for THREE adults, and I was given a room with 1 king bed, no pullout. The room was really small. I asked about the 3rd person after I had checked in, and didn’t receive a response. I also wanted a handicap room and they have one that was occupied for the next 3 weeks, the desk clerk told me. I would stay here again, since I have family near by, but I would make sure they were clear on what I was booking. I woukdnt want to have to go buy another blow up mattress or drag my own shower chair.

Was a little more run down than we expected. Office is not marked so you don't know where to go to check in. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean but back side of doors were dirty. All the light bulbs were \"super bright\" and need to be a lower color, (we had to unscrew several). Front door needed a bottom seal and Could see light around Heat / A/C unit. For the cost, it is a basic place to sleep for a couple nights but don't expect fancy!

Our room was small but comfortable. It was clean, but could use some detailing, like scrubbing the bathroom floor especially in the corner spaces and washing the blanket on the bed. I appreciated the updates in decor and furnishings. For the money, it was fine.

So the lady at the front desk was super nice. The door to my room wouldn't open so i had to get 2 separate keys and she had to come down to help me get in the room. Once the door was open you had to push it really hard to open and close it. Also the bathroom door did not shut all the way. The property was not that impressive at all. The room was clean which was a plus but this hotel is definitely overpriced for what you get.
