The room was acceptable, could have been cleaner but comfortable bed and at a good price. Friendly staff. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee and pre-packaged rolls and snack cakes--no milk, no juice, no cereal, no fruit--definitely a cut below the breakfasts offered at other places. They did offer a 20% discount at a nearby restaurant where you could go buy breakfast, but part of the adverstized draw was an included breakfast.

Parking was very good, secure, staff was very nice, even brought us fresh towels at check in! Hard to understand, English wasn’t the best. The TV was poor. They did explain the trick to turning it on. But we didn’t understand them, didn’t want to be rude and keep asking. We did get it on, never got it to change channels, the remote was useless. For the price, we would stay again. It was very clean, bug free. The coffee was wonderful!

The staff was amazing. The owner was super sweet and very helpful. The needs were decent and not to bad. The problem was the shower. We had to ask for a curtain. Then the water pressure with hot water was non existent. It was just dribble. The only shower pressure was there if you had a cold shower.

It was cluttered in the lobby. Everything is worn out & threadbare. Bedspread barely covered the bed. Pillow cases were the type that are shams for on top of the bedspread not for sleeping on. Sheets felt like they've been used up.

Room was dated and either had stains or a poor paint job throughout. Very poor water pressure in the shower, beds were cheap but not horrible, some very strange smell throughout the hotel, thankfully the room had a window i could open a little to air it out! Tv didn't work, I went to the front desk (i tried to call down but the phone didn't work) to make sure they knew, they said it was a new tv (which it obviously was not) and they weren't sure why it wasn't working but i just wanted to male sure they didnt want to charge me for a broken tv (i felt like they would try and scam me one way or another). It works in a pinch but wouldn't recommend.

Immigrants the police came through the parking lot and everybody ran. I saw Hispanics bringing in and out along with the owner young young girls the owners and everybody was up all night long no one slept I heard footsteps above me All night Long there was people running through the Halls adults running through the Halls we had to leave we could not stay this was by far the worst experience of me and my family's trip I hope the kids never have to experience anything like this please take this listing off of hotel.com I know you guys are great but this place someone is going to get hurt murdered raped I'm not joking this is a very very bad place

Get what you pay for

Wanted to charge me a $7 room insurance charge or leave $50 on credit card with refund in over 2 weeks. The pillows did not have pillow cases but rather they used the pillow shams so you know they were not clean. Smoke detector was beeping so i took it down. People were smoking in the hallway.

We only stayed here for one night because I didn't want to drive 3 hours home after a concert. The check in was really easy and the front desk was really nice. The room was good. They could have done a better job with cleaning. There were some bears trimmings left in the sink but it wasn't too much. The walls were very thin so you could hear other guests in the hotel. It woke me up one time in the night. The included \"breakfast\" was some hostess snack cakes. Luckily we had planned to go to Denny's right next door. The best thing about the room was the water pressure in the shower. It was glorious. It was a cheap hotel and worked for one night.

Glad We Only Stayed One Night Here

On Hotels.com I had sorted by price, paid in advance, and we had driven out of our way to go to this place, but when we arrived, there was an extra $7 registration fee in addition to what we had already paid. Also I looked for a place that served breakfast but was told at check-in that breakfast was good donuts and coffee and that there was a Denny’s next door. The check-in time said 7-7:30 AM and the checkout time was 10:30 the next day. The place smelled weird and anyone could walk in the back door, where we parked. The key slider didn’t work on the back door. The bedspread was nice but King bed was a folding bed that sloped to both sides. The lamps worked. There were several soaps. The pillows were covered with pillow shams that matched the bedspread, but with no pillow cases underneath. Water was not run through a softener, which I like. Toilet seemed fairly new, but the water in it was running when we arrived but stopped after we jiggled the handle and the tank refilled. The bathroom fan sounded strange, so I turned it off.

Hotel manager is very accommodating. Location is great as it’s right off the interstate and next to Denny’s. The hotel is outdated which is fine and reflected by the price. The beds were more comfortable than expected. The only negatives were the place, including the room were very warm even though the A/C was maxed out. It was noisy and making a clinking sound. The lobby and hallway, not the room, smelled of cigarette smoke. The hotel was a good value.

A bit surprised this is rated as 7* on Expedia. Exterior is updated, but rooms are old and hallway/room smelled a like stale cigarette smoke. The “fresh breakfast” was packaged donuts and coffee. Bed was comfortable and room was generally clean - except the mirror was so smeared you couldn’t see yourself (and it was still smeared after I tried cleaning it) - was like they used tire dressing or something to clean. Friendly staff.

the carpet in the rooms was not clean old, furniture was worn out and scared. we were also charged a 7.50 fee for insurance damage to the room. this was the option to be charged 50.00 dollars on credit card which would not be refunded for up to two weeks after checking out. your rating of this property was out of bounds. will not trust expedia for total includes all taxes and fee's

Window was ready to fall out of its frame-it could not be opened without falling-window had to be locked.
Place smelled of prior smoking in room-residual is bad as it is an irritant to people allergic to tobacco smoke like I am-I now have a synus infection from staying in the room.
Rooms are tired-need updating badly-carpets are loosed in the hall and stairs and other things that point to a stressed financial situation.

The bed was delightful! Although the website advertised rainfall showers, my room lacked one. The TV was on the smaller side, yet it delivered an excellent picture quality. The provided soaps were a pleasant touch, especially since I had forgotten my body wash. On my first morning, I left my room at 8am in anticipation of breakfast, but disappointingly, none was available despite the website's promise of a free continental breakfast from 6am to 9am. The hotel's proximity to the highway didn't disturb my sleep, as the traffic noise was minimal. My room was non-smoking, and while smoking rooms were nearby, I was relieved that the odor did not permeate into my room even though the smell was in the hallway.

The staff I met (assume they were the owners) were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the plumbing fixtures in the room seemed to have been recently updated. And the heat/ac unit worked better than most other places I have stayed. Absolutely would stay there again.

When you pull into the parking lot the building looks rundown and sketchy. There was a very nice young woman in the lobby sweeping when we got there. She helped my grandson with his shoes. The man working the desk took us to our room and turned on the a/c unit. It was very hot in there for about an hour and a half. After that it was very comfy and cool. There were several red stains on the floor in front of the sink that I believe were blood drops. It didnt look like anyone had ever attempted to clean it up. This property sits right next to the highway so you here traffic all the time. This didnt bother me...i think it may have helped me sleep better. Would i stay here again...definitely not.

Upon check in I was upset to find out my room was not ready but relieved when the Manager accommodated me
immediately in a different room as I was exhausted .

This hotel was adequate and provided a good nights sleep for a reasonable price. The property is very dated. Some exterior widows were broken and repaired with adhesive tape. The room was clean which is extremely important to me. The bed was on the loser side and very firm but it slept well. Breakfast was minimal; packaged sweet rolls, good coffee and cold cereal with milk. Very basic good nights sleep at a reasonable price.

The person at the front counter was friendly and polite. Also the water pressure in the shower was unbelievably good. Otherwise I was pretty underwhelmed by our stay. The room wasn't quite dirty, but wasn't quite clean either. The A/C in the room did not get the room anywhere close to comfortable, but it was blowing some cold air. I wasn't a big fan of how firm the mattress was, but again wasn't a super big deal.

DIRTY AND DEPRESSING! DON'T WASTE YOUR $$!!

When we arrived, we were aghast at the condition of the property--looked deserted! Walked in to a filthy 'lobby', if you could call it that, and no lights were on. A young gentleman was sitting at a table and said he had been there 15 minutes and no one came to the front. There was a 'ring' doorbell kind of apparatus sitting on the counter with a hand written note to use that or call some other number?? We rang the bell and waited...another 10 minutes passed, and a sleepy dude came from the back, and we made a quick determination that there was no way in hell we would stay in this place. Did I say FILTHY?? The floors, everything. My husband walked to the hall, turned around and went 'we are out of here'! We left and had to go another 10 miles to find another vacancy for the night. Their policy is NO REFUND, so we were out $$, but worth it to not stay one more second in that pig sty. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$!! This property should be REMOVED from all booking sites!!

Wow! The service was friendly. They seemed to be doing some kind of work and there was a chemical smell throughout. This is a smoking hotel which is odd to us as most are not. The air conditioner did not work but we were nervous to say anything because when we checked in he said we were getting one of the best rooms and there did not appear to be very many rooms. Luckily it was 70 degrees and we opened the window which also helped with the smell. There were stains on the sheets and towels and hair on the toilet and in the shower. Breakfast was white bread and jelly, frosted flakes or corn flakes.

Manager was nice at the end. But Lobby area was undergoing remodeling and there was torn wallpaper, vending machines and table and chairs all over. No one was in lobby to check us in and no one heard bell. Had to go down hall to find someone to assist. The room was okay except for overwhelming smoking smell. However, it met our overall needs and was convenient to our activities.

The host and hostess are very sweet people. Loved the coin operated pop machine. I knew how to operate it! Ha!

There was never anyone at the front desk. We had to ring a bell in order to check in. The person who checked us in was not friendly. I was looking at the check in card and he jerked it out of my hand and was very hateful in telling what part to fill out. We won't stay here again just for that reason.
