There was a complimentary transport from the hotel to the airport and we were told that only 7:30 and 10:30 am and ordered a private taxi to realize once we were outside at 9:30 that there was a transport taking guest to the airport . And we were told by the employees that the the front desk from the check in didn’t help us properly with this arrangement .

The staff and amenities were great, but I feel like our room was not. The room had a weird stench in it, we thought at first that it came from the wind, but when we closed the window the smell stayed. It smelled like feces, it was weird. The salt ceiling also had insulation foam just bubbling in it, which I would have preferred that they cut out, it kind of ruined the affect. I was also particularly annoyed at arranging spa services. I messaged the hotel before I came and was told to wait until I got there, when I got there things were mostly booked. I booked a spa service for 9pm that night, I was worried there was a chance we would do an activity and get back late, so I asked the spa reception if that happened if I could just contact the hotel to speak to her and she said I could. So that night, when we had an activity I thought was running late, I tried REALLY hard to contact the hotel and was literally unable to do so. The phone number listed on their google and website isn't an answered number - but you don't find that out until you add it in WhatsApp and send a message. I messaged the hotel through WhatsApp and through Expedia and they didn't timely respond, I also messaged through their chat service and no response. When I FINALLY received a response it was to say that I couldn't reschedule my spa service or it would be viewed as a cancellation. Luckily I was able to make my appointment in the end, but I was HIGHLY frustrated by the experience.

This property is located in close proximity to Uyuni Salt flat besides that services, staff and property is mediocre for the amount you pay. Property is unique, made from salt blocks but all other amenities are poor. Limited food option for dining, either food truck or buffet (which gave us food poisoning), spa staff have poor attitude and misguided us during our stay in result we couldn’t get spa service. Expedia VIP access is not recognized here. We communicated with front desk staff day before for room adjustment which was verbally confirmed but not provided at the time of check in. Check in staff have poor attitude and lack of communication. The only attentive service by staff was at the restaurant. Overall our stay was mediocre given that this is the best hotel in the area. I would rather book other economic options in the area vs paying more and getting less.

Perfect location to be close to the Salt Flats! It's a bit of a distance from Uyuni but if you plan properly, you'll be fine.

Staff here take very good care of you. Our bed was small, when we pointed it out they immediately added another bed.

The hotel interiors are beautiful and interesting, and try to showcase the local environment.

The breakfast buffet was very good, with an egg station.

The one thing I wish would be better - the bar menu. The dinner buffet is not well suited for everyone, and the only other option for food is to order from the bar menu, which has very few options.

A truly beautiful hotel, fabulous team and stunning views of the salt flats. Sunsets are beautiful too. Also the prices in the bar for great cocktails and food are very good given this is a top hotel - $7 for a negroni for example. The spa is also very beautifully decorated and has hot sauna and steam. A very kind and helpful team across the front desk, restaurant and spa.

Visiting Uyuni with Teen boys. This hotel was amazing from the moment we stepped foot. Superior to other hotels we experienced during our travels in Bolivia. Recommend it and will definitely come back. If you are looking for a fun experience with good accommodations in this area. Stay here!

The road from Colchani is unpaved and very dusty, but inside the hotel is very clean. The ventilation fan in the bathroom is weak and it gets humid after a shower, but other than that, the room is very relaxing and comfortable.
We had sandwiches at the bar and breakfast at the restaurant; neither of them were local, but they were very good. I especially recommend the fried eggs, which are baked in front of you at breakfast.
Some of the staff spoke only Spanish, but we were able to communicate without any problems using a translation app. Above all, they were very considerate and helpful, which made the trip even better.

Pero el servicio deja mucho que desear. El día que fuimos estaban grabando una promoción para el hotel, nos dieron una habitación diferente a la que habíamos reservado y no nos la querían cambiar ya que supuestamente todas las otras estaban ocupadas por el personal de la grabación. Igualmente habían áreas restringidas que no se podían usar ya que estaban grabando. Pero el personal del restaurante es muy amable y atenta

We loved our stay at the first Salt hotel that was built out of salt! It had great amenities, however the food quality definitely could improve, especially for the price; it was too expensive in the restaurant. The spa services were great and the pool was beautiful, however too small for the number of guests and they should do more than one service at a time. I would definitely stay again, the staff were amazing!

I loved the uniqueness of this hotel, specifically because it’s made out of salt. The property is beautiful and clean. The pool area was very nice as well. The staff was super helpful. We arrived extremely early and left on a salt flats tour. Upon our return which was late, our luggage was already in our room. When we left, we left early, and they receptionist arranged a breakfast to go. This hotel and its staff was amazing!

Incredible salt hotel. Beautiful pool. Friendly, professional staff. Amazing welcome drink. I wasn’t a big fan of the buffet dinner, it was pretty average and I found the price expensive. The hotel itself is absolutely fabulous. I loved the sheets and room Devore and electric blankets and hoooooooot shower. I’d recommend staying here!

The property was beautiful, used the spa services and the lady that assisted us was very nice, the pool has a beautiful view even though we were not able to use it because it was under maintenance. The food was buffet type and it was delicious, it was set price per client, I found it a little price considering that it is the only option you have as you are in the middle of the desert and cannot go anywhere else or you starve so you must use the only option they provide.
They upgraded us to a suite at check in which I thought it was very nice. The hotel stay was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful salt hotel.

Hardly any salt in the salt palace. With a thin curtain and no blackout curtain, at 6:00 a.m. ish, a blast of sunlight illuminates the room. The only time you’ll be able to get anything to eat is 7-9 for a buffet dinner at $26 (US) and the buffet breakfast that starts at 7. There is no where else to go unless you have a car. They’re stingy with towels in the room: 2 bath, 1 hand towel and no face clothes. The bar opens at 4 and the pool is the temp of a warm bath. Think again if you have any thoughts of a view of the salt flat( the hotel lies below it.

This hotel was exactly what we saw in the photos. It was clean and amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are very unique. You are charged for anything not included in your reservation so be prepared. We were already aware of this fact so it didn’t bother us. If you have limited funds make sure and bring food and drinks with you before you check in. Sine the hotel is located in a desolate area and away from most things. The dinner buffet at the restaurant was delicious, but the breakfast did not look appetizing. They provide free shuttle service, which was nice. The view from our room was not very nice. There were trucks and piping outside of ours. It’s about a 30min ride from the airport. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. If I returned I would stay here again.

Wow hotel of the edge of Uyuni Salt Flats

I really enjoyed my stay at this very unique and tastefully furnished hotel my first room was unbearably stuffy (there is no a/c to control the temperature which I understand) when I mentioned it to the reception he kindly switched me to an upgraded room where the temperature was fine. There's an indoor pool, small room with some fitness equipment and a TV room as the bedrooms don't have TVs , breakfast was just adequate. Lastly it's an ideal place to stay for visiting the Salt Flats as the tour operators are happy to pick you up from there as they have pass by from the town of Uyuni to the Salt Flats ( but if you weren't on a tour there is absolutely nothing to do outside the hotel )

Fabulous but bed too firm

Really loved the hotel and room, but our experience was let down by the fact that the bed felt very hard and the service in the restaurant wasn’t amazing. Reception staff and spa staff were very polite and helpful.
Location is excellent for tours of the salt flats.

Hotel was nice but their free airport shuttle service is misleading. They only provide shuttle services 3 times a day (6:30am, 12pm, 8pm). As our flight was at 10:30 we had to book a taxi which was £25.

After being on the salt flats all day we arrived to a warm welcome, complimentary drinks and a room upgrade. The amenities were lovely and the decor beautiful. ( my view however was a construction site) That aside the buffet dinner was great. No complaints!

Very interesting hotel near salt flats in Uyuni, Bolivia. Really built from salt. Located on the edge of the salts flats, far away (30 min) from town, so you're really locked in there with extremely overpriced (by Bolivian standards) transfer service. Breakfast and dinner are fine

Beautiful location but...

The thing that sells this hotel is the location. It is right on the Salar. All if the other tours drive past it to get to the Salar. However, that also means, it is very remote. No where near town or restaurants. Their restaurant is not bad, but options are limited. They tell you where to sit and when to eat. If you want anything other than the buffet, you must mske arrangements. Eat at a different time? Make arrangements. Be careful about arranging tours through the hotel. The group I chose through the hotels phone number did not show up. Apparently, I failed to understand that I was supposed to pay tge night brforr do they cancelled on me. Then, because the location is so remote, it is very difficult to hire another. Also, there was an odd smell in the room. I don’t know if the sewage system was backing up or if maybe that is what blocks of salt smell like.

One night at Palacio de Sal

We arrived at the airport to find out the 15 minute taxi ride to the Palacio is about $35 compared to the $3 ride it takes to get into town 5 minutes away. I did not read about the reservation closely to find out you need message the hotel ahead of time... luckily I found a van from the hotel and they transported us for free. The return trip to the airport was not free but better than a taxi. The hotel staff was incredibly nice, and the building itself is very unique. The food buffet is good enough but nothing to brag about (not sure if the options in the town are any better).

ウユニ塩湖の入り口まで歩いていける距離(約1.5km)に位置しておりロケーションGoodです。エントランスエリアがかなり広く、飲み物も自由なので居心地が良くツアー待ちなどでも快適な時間が過ごせます。スタッフはFront Desk以外は英語がほぼ全く通じませんが皆さん笑顔で親切でした。部屋は部分的に「塩」で建設されていて変わった経験ができます。床はフローリングですので使い勝手は悪くありません。朝食は可といったところですが場所を考えれば十分に感じました。空港:ホテル間のシャトルサービスも事前に頼んでおけばOKです。Mikeという英語を話すスタッフが対応してくれ会話を楽しめますよ。全体的にみて、値段分の価値はあり満足しました。

O lugar é um oásis no deserto. Todo feito de sal. Infraestrutura maravilhosa.. vários serviços, área externa também com serviços e entretenimento, incluindo roda gigante e carrossel inclusive para adultos… Área para ver o por-do-sol, base de drones, diferentes restaurantes, etc, além de atendimento formidável. Os quartos internos achei um pouco pequenos mas não impactam a experiência.

空港までの送迎が朝6時と7時半にありました。
プールは温水で日差しが暑くて日焼けしました。
料理も美味しく頂き夕陽はここのレストランで食べる事をオススメします。
ボリビアワインも美味しくロケーションも良いので，ホテルを堪能しました。
壁が薄くスタッフや歩いてる音が良く聞こえました。
