Room was extremely comfortable, but a 4* rating might be a bit generous. The shower is very small, but everything was impeccably clean.

Location was fantastic!! If we were in the area again, we’d stay here. Lots of great restaurants in the immediate area.

Breakfast was very disappointing. I arrived at 8:45, but everything was gone. No bread, no crossaints or pastry, no cheese, no bacon. I was told to wait 20 minutes, but left hungry. It was if a bus load of people had taken every fresh item. The coffee was cold and weak, when I left others were offered fresh tea and coffee, I had to get my coffee elsewhere.
The rooms where noisy, you can hear guests in next room and lobby echos. Best to avoid.

Fantastic hotel in an amazing location for exploring San Marino. We ate both nights at the hotel restaurant which was outstanding (12 stars on a scale of 1 to 10). Breakfast was nice with decent variety. Rooms are quite spacious and we had mountains views, which were gorgeous. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only potential issue, if you are a large person, is that the showers are on the small side. But, other than that - highly recommend!!

L’hébergement est extrêmement bien situé et le stationnement 6 se trouve juste à côté et ne coûte que 6$/jour en logeant dans cet hôtel. La personne à l’accueil était vraiment accueillante et sympathique! La chambre était très propre, grande et fonctionnelle. J’aurais préféré avoir un oreiller supplémentaire, mais il n’y en avait que deux dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, complet et diversifié! Les terrasses sont spacieuses et l’une d’entre elles offrent une vue exceptionnelle! Le restaurant de l’hôtel est vraiment excellent!!!

The hotel is just inside the gate to this beautiful walled city. The view from our room was breath taking. The restaurant was fabulous. I have travelled the world and eating at many fine dining establishments. This hotel's restaurant was hands above others in San Marino!

The bathroom shower was extremely small and difficult to shower in. The bed was very hard and the blankets were not comfortable at all. The lighting in the room was poor and our wall had a leak inside causing the paint to peel all over the floor. I brought it to the attention of the desk clerk and she said she’d make note of it. I would never stay at this hotel again b

Perfect for my needs with a good bed, air on and all the usual essentials. The only thing I’d agree with is, as other have commented, the soundproofing between rooms is very poor. Breakfast was good IMO.

The room is not soundproof, but nice.

NIce clean hotel. only one thing need worry is: The soundproofing between rooms is too poor. I can hear the couple next door talking and the sound of the water in the shower next door clearly. Apart from this issue, everything else is very nice. will try again next time.

We had a room with a panoramic view over the mountains. Not many plug sockets (old building). Bed was a little hard and bathroom very bijou. Mini bar with juice, beer etc. Staff v friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent. Approx 10 min walk from Rimini shuttle bus stop. Close to the first tower. Would stay again

Central location but beware if you have mobility issues. No flat areas and large cobbled streets. I have mobility issues and though I managed with a few difficulties, it would be difficult for wheelchair users though not impossible.

The room was very old style the furniture was very old not looking like four star hotels, the TV didn't work in the restaurant they had the wedding celebration and we didnt have where to dine, the shower was very small you couldn't walk in, and the worst the breakfast was not even two star rated very bad experience!

Trying to figure out how to unload luggage gave us a bit of stress, but the local people were amazing to help us. The area is amazing, wished we would have had more time to tour. The room is comfortable, but it was a bit warm. We opened up the windows but with the celebration of Halloween was a tad too noisy. Loved hearing the children. The breakfast is very good.

What could go wrong did go wrong

Staff were welcoming however TV did not work and they couldn’t fix, shower was 18x18 square and I’m 129 pounds and the shower gel /shampoo combo was out too bad I was in the shower. AC didn’t work. Garbage pick up at 6 am outside the window. Discussed when we checked out and they said oh let me call the cleaner they had me wait while she brought the empty bottle down then said do you want a bottle of wine. No thank you!!!!!

Our lovely room had a sizeable balcony that afforded us an amazing view of the surrounding landscape. It was well worth the extra money. Good selection of items for breakfast. You could even cook your own eggs, boiled the way you like them. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel Cesar was located in the best possible spot in San Marino. The views from our room were spectacular. We could see the 3 Towers of San Marino as well as amazing views of the surrounding mountain's.. The service was excellent and their restaurant was fantastic. The rooms are dated but very comfortable. Would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

Nice hotel located next to city gate and parking lot number 6. The hotel has an arrangement for reduced parking rates. Room was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality, however onsite dinner at restaurant was a bit bland. The hotel seems to have hosted many dignitaries such as French president Mittérand, whose testimonials can be read in the lobby.

We had a disabled parking pass so we were able to use that for free off site parking which is very close. The only complaint was the TINY SHOWER - like so tiny, don’t drop the soap, because you can’t stand back up tiny. The staff, restaurant and everything about the place was friendly and welcoming!

Lovely view, the best of perhaps anywhere I have stayed! We picked the nicest room and it was worth it. Just perfect. I highly recommend. The hotel restaurant downstairs had high quality food and I also recommend it. Be prepared to spend a long time waiting for the food, however. Service is typical for the region, which is to say slow. Still, the food was excellent, so I recommend it anyway.
