My family and I recently stayed at the Palazzo Margherita in Positano and it was the PERFECT location! I LOVED so many things about this hotel. The size of the room AND price compared to other surrounding hotels. It was spacious enough for us 3 adults plus they offered a travel crib for my toddler. They also provide a driver to pick you up from the airport (for an additional price) and take you directly to the front door of the hotel without having to carry your luggage up all of those stairs you see on tiktok videos. Overall we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient—close to the bus stop and local shops. The views of the Amalfi Coast and the sea are absolutely beautiful.

The hotel manager Mauro was outstanding—very responsive and helpful in coordinating events and making sure everything ran smoothly. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the welcome bottle of champagne. A great touch!

Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Positano.

Very spacious room that is actually three rooms with a large porch overlooking Positano. Perfect for families - in a very safe and convenient area that is close to a \"walking street\" that gets you all the way down to the beach OR another way that gets you to some restaurants that overlook the water (and the restaurants serve pastas that are so good, I do not even know what it is we eat here in the States). BUT...the best part was the service. Mauro Scagliosi set up anything I wanted/needed...from restaurant reservations, to private taxis, to private tours of Pompeii on our travel day to the Port of Civitechia...and his recommendations involved other high-quality people who provided great service. Just had to use What's App (the go-to communication app in Italy btw), and bam...he had it scheduled and booked. He took the phrase \"concierge service\" to a whole new level. Will stay here again...unless Mauro recommends otherwise.

Maybe the best place our family has ever stayed—-tons of space for our family of 5, spectacular balconies, great location, and so clean and updated while also having gorgeous antiques and decor. This property is exceptional. Authentic Amalfi Coast experience. Very comfortable property with everything you need . We had 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms kitchen and washing machine . The check in was smooth with Maurio meeting us late at night due to a slow drive in from Rome. He organized a local driver and pizzeria dinner for us immediately. Throughout our short stay he recommended things to do and things to make our day comfortable. We will be back! Perfect location and welcoming locals and staff

It was perfection! The most picturesque view! Kids (5 & 6 yrs) were able to easily walk down stairs to the beach and then catch the shuttle bus back up to the room. Lovely market next door (with the kindest staff) meant we could cook for the kids, get them to bed early and enjoy a bottle of wine and antipasto patter on the balcony in the evenings to soak up every minute with that view.
Mauro and the housekeeping staff at Palazzo Margherita were so kind, helpful and hospitable. Worth the splurge for us!

This property is gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice. If you want the ideal view of Positano, close to the stairs, this is it. Really friendly property manager and highly recommend. The price is worth it. Amazing balcony, complete with table, chairs, laundry and lounges. Loved it!

This property was absolutely AMAZING! Our host, Mauro, was so great to work with. He was very accommodating and even worked late to check us in as we didn't arrive until later in the evening.

The view from the balcony did not disappoint, it was picturesque and was even better than I expected.

We just wrapped up a 3 week trip and stayed at 9 different properties; this one was my very favorite!! The view, the AC, the location, the cleanliness, the service....it was all top notch!

I booked a 2 night stay at this property. The day we got there we set our luggage in the apartment and went to explore Postino for the day. When we came back one of the rooms was loaded with ants! They ended up getting into our luggage, it was awful. I had my wife and two daughters who were really upset about the experience so we left that night and needed to book a different location. The owner apologized and said they would provide a refund, but never did after numerous requests. I have a video that I intend to post but not sure if I can on this site?
Very disappointing! Do not stay here!

We just got home from the most incredible trip to Italy! We stayed at Palazzo Margherita in Positano and it was the absolute hightlight of our trip!! We stayed in the Galli apartment and it's huge! Much bigger than we thought. My husband and I brought our 2 teenage boys and we had our own bedroom, kitchen, family room and patio. The view are STUNNING! There is a market just up the street and we walked there and got a bottle of wine, fresh bed, cheese and salami and would enjoy it on our patio. Only a 10-minute walk down to the beach. We would 100% stay here again in Positano! Mauro the manager was so helpful our entire trip. We will be back!!

The suite was absolutely beautiful, but more so were the views from the bedroom overlooking the town and of course the balcony!!! Incredible! Lots of space and very cute apartment! Location was superb, could see the whole town below, 1 min to the local grocery nearby, short walk into town (albeit down some steps). Already recommended to all friends!

Excellent beautiful property. You can not ask for a more picture perfect view, truly what everyone envisions about Positano. The Sponda apartment was magical; memorable evenings making our dinners with fresh local ingredients from local store, the owners couldn’t be more helpful. The huge patio was amazing, enjoyed breakfast outside every morning. Place has nicely equipped kitchen and a washing machine, helpful for family vacation. Easy walk to everywhere by main road if you want to avoid steps. Classy and elegant, loved our stay.

Great location within walking distance to all of the major attractions in Positano. The views of the town and ocean are very nice and there are many restaurants in close proximity. A nice feature we didn't anticipate is the proximity to the local family run market. Very handy for some meals and snacks. The biggest highlight is the manager of the property, Mauro. He was proactive with his outreach after we booked and it carried through the entire visit. He offered great recommendations on restaurants and things we should consider doing during our visit. His advice really made a difference. Way to go Mauro! When we come back, he'll be our first option.

My family and I absolutely loved Palazzo Margerita . Mauro was amazing, anything we needed he was there to deliver. He made our stay that much easier. We had a one bedroom apartment with an amazing Terrace overlooking Positano and the mountains and the oceans. We could not have asked for a better stay and highly recommend it. This apartment had every amenity including a washing machine and dishwasher. Housekeeping daily and every request we had took minutes to fulfill, Mauro and his team really deliver. The walk to the beach is about 10-15 minutes downward but going back up was harder but doable.

The last night our electronic key didn’t work to turn on the electricity and AC in our room so we had to sleep in the heat, which was no ideal. We recently stayed at the Mulini apt of this hotel as a family of 6 and had the most amazing experience. Not only is the hotel in a central location with a breathtaking view from all four balconies, but the property manager Mauro is who makes the hotel one of the best in Positano. Mauro was so easy to communicate with even before we got there, always answered promptly and was genuinely helpful and friendly. During our visit, he organized many excursions including private boat rides, ferry rides, private drivers and had great restaraunt recommendations! Don’t hesitate to stay here, it is well worth it!

From the moment we got to Palazzo Margherita, we were treated to a five star experience in every way. The concierge, Mauro, was amazing and so helpful. We had two free days in Positano which Mauro helped us plan out, and those days ended up being our favorites. You have to book the boat trip if you have time when you stay here! The view from the balcony was our favorite view of the trip, and some of the best memories made were simply drinking wine and enjoying the view of the city right from the apartment. Highly recommend! A must stay in Positano.

This is the PERFECT location in Positano! Walk to the bus and town. On the main road through town so easy for all transportation. Mauro is the best! He will arrange everything for you. We booked this for our honeymoon, staying 4 nights in between stops at Greece and Rome. Positano is a beautiful city and Palazzo Margherita is great location tat offers breathtaking views from its balconies.

Mauro was fantastic. He helped us arrange a sunset trip down the Amalfi coast, stopping for dinner at Villa Maria in Ravello.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a huge balcony and a washing machine for less than the price we paid on our hotels in Mykonos and Santorini.

Note: there is a small grocery store next to the apartment that is perfect for getting water, snacks, and ingredients for breakfast. You can get sandwiches there as well.

Fantastic Place!

This is an amazing place to stay in the gorgeous Positano! We stayed in the Milano apartment on the top floor. The view is gorgeous. Three bedrooms, three baths, a huge livingroom and kitchen area, a spacious deck to eat and drink wine while gazing out at the town and sea. There are balconies off the front of the apartment, and an amazing little grocery a few steps away to bring back wine and cheese to enjoy. All of Positano's shopping, restaurants, and beach lie just below you.

Our apartment in Positano was perfect. We were practically next door to the small grocery store and could shop for a prepare some meals and breakfast. The balcony was perfect for morning and and evening relaxation with an amazing view. You will need to take many steps up and down to the city center but we enjoyed it all very much. The manager was so helpful and booked a private boat tour that was a highlight of our trip.

I have to say the pictures I saw of Positano online were the inspiration for our trip to Italy. One of our challenges planning the trip was there are so many hotels to choose from in the area. I am so glad we picked Palazzo Margherita! It did not disappoint us in any way! The location was PERFECT! The view from our apartment was amazing! I could have stayed there and stared at it for days! Every room faces the same spectacular view. The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen, sitting room and balcony were big enough for the four of us the gather for drinks and the occasional dinner we cooked ourselves. There is a grocery store and fresh vegetable market within steps of the hotel. We are wine lovers and the local store was the best place in Positano to buy wine at a decent price. The option to purchase food and cook the occasional dinner ourselves helped us save a bit of money and feel a bit more like a local. The hotel is situated midway on the hillside so you have a great view but are not too far from the beach, shopping and restaurants. Mauro was a kind and gracious host. He was there each day to provide advise and check that we were enjoying our stay. Anytime he saw us leave or return to the hotel he greeted us with a smile and kind words. On our departure he provided many great suggestions for our next stop in Naples. All in all it was a fantastic experience!

Even though it was on a main road, it was very quiet at night. Views were spectacular and closer to the wedding venue and not to far from town.
