This is a great hotel. It's welcoming and clean. I am very comfortable and have stayed many, many times. My only problem is, I asked for a room with a pool view, but when I got there, I didn't get it. Still, it's always a nice stay.

Poor shower, doors leaked. Too many flies, as soon as you open the patio door, all flies enter the room. Grounds were gorgeous. Old resort, rooms need updating.

This is a great hotel that offers delicious dining and a wonderful view. The pool is heated to a perfect temperature. There is a spa and breakfast is complimentary. I have stayed several times and I will always go back. I did miss the Crema Pasticcera for breakfast the past couple of times. They also offer laundry service, which is great to have!! Parking is super easy which lends to exploring nearby areas like Pomarico, Matera and Bernalda. The air conditioner in the room worked incredibly well during the European 2023 heat wave!

Wonderful staff. Great breakfast and property grounds. The room is a very good size. The shower is small and it would be nice if the bathroom was a little bit bigger, even if the room was smaller. There is never an issue with hot water. The temperature of the room is adjustable and there is a big window. I recommend.

Stop over hotel.

Booked this hotel for a break stopover to visit family but did not get the full used of facilities..
Swimming pool looked nice but dirty with the previous day/nights use along with cups rubbish etc left around. Next morning children running wild.. no chance for a peaceful swim.
Restaurant was poor.
No staff around
Seems to have attempted a refurb but the shower, tiles and flooring were dirty and unfinished in the shower cubical with an open socket.
Bed was thin and hard.
Water in minibar was open.
Noisy families and adults outside corridor up and down shouting laughing screaming..and early in the morning.
Shame as it could be upgraded and with professional staff needed.
Quite disappointed really.

Difficult to find and low quality rooms

The hotel is reasonably located if you are wishing to visit Matera and towns such as Craco in the surrounding beautiful countryside. That is the hotel's main strengh - although the neighbouring town is not that tourist-friendly and the exact location of the hotel is not that glamorous.

The rooms are dank and are cheaply furnished and the whole interior of the hotel is quite dated and not overly pleasant. That said there are good parking facilities and a nice pool/hotel exterior.

If you still want to go to this hotel having read this review please rembember one thing:

THE HOTEL IS NEAR THE EXIT OF THE MAIN ROAD (SS) BETWEEN POTENZA AND THE IONIAN COAST - BEFORE YOU GO UP THE HILL TO FERRANDINA. IT IS NOT WHERE THE GOOGLE TAG FOR THE POSTCODE SHOWS IT TO BE.

Therefore this hotel is very difficult to find (if you follow Google Maps) and when you get there you may wonder why you bothered.

Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr in einem guten Zistand. Es war mal ein sehr gutes Hotel jedoch ist das 20 Jahre her. Fast alle Zimmer haben Wasserschäden und schwarzen Schimmel an den Wänden. ( Gardine mal zur Seite schieben)

Ottimo hotel immerso nel verde, con due piscine (di cui una per bambini) in cui siamo stati benissimo. Ristorante con ampia scelta piatti, porzioni abbondanti e servizio rapido. Eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo. Camere ampie e pulite; ulteriore nota positiva, la cortesia dei titolari che con molto impegno sono riusciti anche a risolvere un problema di fatturazione con l'azienda. Consigliatissimo!

I rarely write reviews, but this stay calls for it.

This hotels deserves only 2 stars due to its nice pool area, which we really enjoyed.

Inside, the experience was poor. General lack of cleaning and maintenance is obvious. Breakfast buffet very basic, and we noticed old/“rotten” fruit not being taken away over several days. All 3 mornings we saw that dining room/restaurant was not cleaned from previous evening e.g. wine bottles on the tables etc.

Had problems with water dripping in the bathroom, which we reported to the receptionist, but weren’t offered a new room even though there must have been several rooms available. Beds seemed old and not comfortable. Was waken up at 5 due to loud noises (maintenance??).

Can’t understand why management nor staff doesn’t show more pride in providing a better customer experience. So many obvious areas to improve on.

Deux nuits, deux mariages dans l hôtel sans que nous ne soyions prévenus à l'avance.
Ambiance discothèque dans la chambre jusqu à minuit deux soirs d affilée.
Meuble vasque de la salle de bain prêt à s effondrer. Réparation bricolage a la va-vite.
Aucune compensation.
Très décevant.

Colazione assolutamente da migliorare.. Usano solo cose confezionate..molto curato L esterno ma L interno rimane un po’ triste anche se le camere sono pulite i terrazzi sono sporchi e nn ci si può sedere perché nn c’è niente. Ho apprezzato la tv Smart.

Le site est beau même si c’est à côté de la grande route. Nous avons avisé l’hôtel que nous allions arriver vers 20h, en vélo.Nous n’avons pas trouvé le chemin et nous étions perdus dans le noir, donc nous avons appelé l’hôtel, trois fois. À chaque fois ils nous ont mis sur “hold” et la ligne a coupé après une minute. Nous sommes enfin arrivés passé 21h, juste trop tard pour la piscine et il n’y avait aucune pitié pour notre état de cyclistes épuisés ni excuses pour l’histoire des appels coupés.
Le petit déjeuner était le moins intéressant que nous avons connu en Italie et le courant a coupé donc il fallait attendre le café. La chambre était correcte, le wifi fonctionnait bien.

Apesar de algumas avaliações vem negativas decidi seguir meu instinto e tive uma grata surpresa, tanto que ficamos uma noite a mais. Nitidamente é um hotel administrado pela família que precisa de uma certa “profissionalização” em alguns aspectos, pelo tamanho que tem, mas valeu muito a pena.
O café da manhã era bem satisfatório (com varias opcoes), atendimento super cordial, uma piscina bem cuidada e perto de uma cidadezinha medieval que vale a visita. Não fiz nenhuma refeição no restaurante.

Piscine au bord d'une route nationale et Junior suite = chambre avec pour les enfants un petit lit d'appoint et un canapé hyper dur, une odeur d'égout insupportable et surtout une porte non isolée en guise de cloison, donc si comme nous vous avez la chance d'avoir des voisins avec deux bébés, vous passerez une très bonne mauvaise nuit ! Le lendemain la responsable constate l'odeur et le bruit et nous dit qu'elle va nous changer de chambre, après avoir refait les valises et attendu 1h30 elle me dit qu'en fait on reste dans notre chambre, du pschit a été mis dans la s d b et la famille voisine est partie. .. Après une heure de nego on a finalement eu une deuxième chambre. Donc même pour une étape je regrette d'avoir séjourné dans cet hôtel. Notre positive pour le personnel de chambre qui a ete très aimable

ottima soluzione economica per visitare Matera e le zone limitrofe.prenotare un fine settimana a matera può' diventare un salasso in quanto i prezzi in questi ultimi anni sono cresciuti in modo esponenziale, ma questo hotel a 15 - 20 minuti di auto dl centro di matera è una ottima soluzione per non svenarsi.le camere sono comode e moderne , il bagno pulito e la colazione è ottima rapportato al prezzo .Consigliato
