Everything was wonderful, the staff, the food, the location ! The rooms are plenty spacious with a little kitchen perfect for warming up leftovers :) there’s lots of delicious food nearby and the made-to-order breakfast is delicious!

Just returned from 4 days at Eco Del Mar. It was a wonderful and quaint hotel. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious. The staff was friendly and having a cooked-to-order breakfast is a nice touch. The pool was refreshing and perfect for cooling off. The location is perfect. It is literally steps from the beach on one side and by the street with all of the shops and restaurants on the other. I will definitely be back

I would recommend this property for visitors who are staying for a short time. It was very clean, the staff was very helpful, the breakfast was great. I was not able to enjoy the pool as it rained every day we were there. the only downside, is the restroom was very small. However, it still had hot water and worked just fine. It is located in the middle of El Tunco so the stores and restaurants are all within walking distance.

We appreciated having a full kitchen area with mini fridge and microwave. It would be a great location for a family/group with 4 beds. We liked the 2nd floor overlooking the garden, and small pool. Tight curvy stairs so not the best if you have small children (Can be on 1st floor). Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall excellent stay.

Great room with an amazing breakfast to have a slow morning. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. Very comfortable and location was great! Was not disturbed by the noise of the streets or bars; such a tranquil place to retreat to!

The location was fantastic. Super close to restaurants and the beach (a 2 minute walk). The breakfast was good. You have a choice of 4 options that are made to order. The units are well situated and have everything you could need including a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and dishes. Our unit slept 4 in 3 beds which was convenient as we were 3 singles travelling together. The parking situation for this hotel was great. A good sized lot right behind the hotel. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly. The pool is a pretty typical size but the temp was good and it was very clean. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay again.

Family weekend trip

This was such a great find and what a lovely hotel. The pictures were right in point for the outside as we had the room across the pool on the first floor. The room was perfect for a long weekend for a family or friend trip. Easy walk to the beach and main strip of El Tunco. It was great to be so close to the action yet far enough we could enjoy the evening outside our room and go to sleep without a problem. The manager and the staff were super friendly and attentive and made us lovely breakfast in the mornings. Overall we loved it and will come again!

Cuando llegamos al hotel nos recibió Jose una persona muy amable desde el primer momento nos atendió nuestros requerimientos, acuérdate que el Tunco es una zona tropical entonces es necesario protegerse de los zancudos, echaron spray para zancudos en la habitación y tener una bonita estadía, cada habitación tiene AC, tiene una piscina ecológica, hamacas en cada patio de la habitación, desayuno típico con zumos naturales. Además esta situado en un lugar estratégico para acceder a cada uno de los restaurantes, bares y pubs, playas todo esto caminando. Basta caminar y encontraras muchos lugares. El parking es exclusivo del hotel. Nos alegro encontrar un hotel con Eco del Mar.

Our stay was great and their staff was very friendly. Breakfast is amazing! They have a parking lot next to the hotel this a plus for this area. I love the balcony area outside our room.
One thing for improvement is to fix the drainage since it has a bad odor coming out from the kitchen and also add hot water for showering.

Staff is friendly, welcoming, respectful and their costumer service is the best in town.
Wendy and the other young woman are amazing people you can trust.
I would definitely recommend this place to ayone looking to spend some time in el tunco. It's located right in the center of the everything which makes it easier to move around and get anything you could possibly need.
The local people have their own security which makes it a plus so you dont have to worry about anything but enjoy your time in the area.

Small cozy lodge at walking distance to the beach at Playa el Tunco. It has the basics you need for a surf trip: friendly staff, good a/c, clean rooms, free parking. Keep in mind they ask for payment in cash up front. Pretty vibrant nightlife on weekends, you can hear the music at the nearby bars. Great for young surfers, maybe not the place to take your wife and kids.

There were no cups, no soap, no shampoo. The floor and shower had sand from previous guests. The initial price was suppose to include breakfast, but was additional charge upon arriving. In hind sight I would have paid more and stayed somewhere else.

A localização do hotel é excelente, próximo a praia e da principal rua do local. O estacionamento é amplo e de fácil acesso.O hotel está em excelentes condições, boa cama, ar condicionado funcionando bem. O café da manhã era bem servido. O fato de ser pequeno proporciona uma estadia bem tranquila.
