The room had a nice view. The women who clean and the person at the front desk are extremely nice. The major problem I had is that the cleaners kept wanting to clean the room. Unfortunately, I am allergic to a lot of chemicals, and they were cleaning the hall rugs plus the room I was in with heavily scented strong cleaning solution. I had trouble breathing as a result. The cleaner kept saying, ¨Oh it is nice. It smells so nice etc.\"Meanwhile, I was not able to breathe properly and developed a rash from it. I have stayed at this hotel several nights at a time before, but did not have the room cleaned. This time I was there for five nights, so they came in and cleaned. Also, the cost is too much. It is less than a lot of hotels, but I am only one person who is retired, and they need better deals for single people. The breakfast was cold and there was little selection. I had planned to go again this summer but decided not to, because of the potent cleaning solution and the high cost.

The room was in good shape. Clean and properly equipped. Extended our stay and stayed 3 days. The bad- cleaning staff never cleaned our room once in three days or refilled towels, soap,coffee or anything else. Yet, weirdly enough they woke us up every single morning by starting their room cleaning routine at 7am, yelling up and down the hall at each other and slamming doors, running water, running vacuums. Ridiculously loud. We had to wonder if they were doing it just to annoy everyone or if they really are that inconsiderate and stupid. Or deaf. Second, the breakfast was pretty sad. The eggs were gross and dried out when we sampled them at 9am, when I pointed that out they told me \"well they were fine at 7am when we put them out\". Ick. So our rating= decent rooms but poor service and attitude.

Disappointed in that the breakfast which is advertised became a bagged beeakfast (oj, granola bar, banana, yogurt). No waffles and other goodies for regular breakfast. Floors in room were filthy. Noise from walking people the floor above was incredibly disturbing.

The room was very clean and everything was working. The onsite restaurant was fantastic. There are two sides to the kitchen: pizza and Indian. We come to this property for the authentic Indian food, it is excellent. We have a dog and the river walk is two short blocks from the hotel. The staff, at every level, are cordial and accommodating. A great place. This is a place we look forward to on our travels.

Surprised at the hotel after looking at it from the outside. Obviously an old building and a bit dated but the rooms were clean and the beds were great. Added bonus was the restaurant off the front desk area where we had fantastic Indian food..The Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken with Naan and basmati rice were excellent!! Bonus time!

Restaurant was OK for dinner, nothing amazing but for being the only Indian restaurant in town, and in the motel, it was nice to have the option. The breakfast included was decent for it being advertised as continental, with some warm options (vegetarian only). Only complaint was the cleanliness of the room, floors were quite dirty so we kept footwear on, and creaky floors from the room above. Noise was not unexpected from reading others reviews, we were prepared with ear plugs. Otherwise was a good option for one night passing through.

I enjoyed a lovely night at the motel with my dog. It was spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very nice -excellent coffee! It’s a basic motel but a great place to base yourself if you want to explore the Crowsnest pass. On those hot summer days, for anyone staying with kids, it’s a three minute walk to the outdoor pool!

AC didn't work and staff had no idea what they were doing when they looked at the thermostat panel. Food was inedible. Beds creaked with a metallic noise with every movement.

Don't judge from outside
Looks boring and dated from outside but the rooms have been renovated and are excellent. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Everything in the room works, is convenient, and comfortable. The family who runs this place are friendly and helpful. The restaurant was surprisingly good for dinner. A short walk away is a great Brew House. Ample parking. Good value comparatively.

The older attendant had really bad B/O as well and a sullen demeanor. The younger man seemed to be doing all the work, running back and forth, cleaning, bringing food. The food was bad, the service worse. We went to Tims up the rd, but for the price, it should have been a decent breakfast.

Our room was very clearly not cleaned between us and the previous guests. The bed had hair, makeup, and BOOGERS on the sheets. The floor was covered in crumbs, the desk was dirty and sticky. The lady working at front desk did come up and change the sheets after we asked but that’s just unacceptable when paying to stay somewhere and expect a clean safe place for the night. We honestly would have found a different place to stay if it wasn’t so late when we arrived.
