Hotel location is excellent right across from train station steps from the train station , breakfast buffet it’s good omelet coffee and small Asian food not a lot of western foods though.
We stayed at a Japanese style room it was extreme spacious with a living room and table and all don’t know the regular rooms size.
Around the area have excellent dining options and shopping and it’s right by the bay very nice view.

I've always stayed at this hotel when I'm in Takamatsu. The location offers the most convenience with a walking distance to the station, the bus stops and many restaurants. The room is super clean and the staff are all kind and professional. The view of the port and the area with a small castle is an added bonus. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed at JR Clemens Hotel four times through the years, and the hotel keeps getting better! The staff spoke okay English during check-in, it was easy to buy (excellent!) breakfast for just one of our days and the room was fresh and suited our needs perfectly.

We had some kind of deluxe standard room with great beds, okay amount of space and good tea and coffee. Only downside was that we only were on the seventh floor and thus did not get one of the amazing view that you can get if you are higher up.

I would like to add that the breakfast was the best ones I have had in Japan, and that it has improved a lot during recent years. I am a vegetarian and could more than eat my fill. Especially appreciated the varm pancakes and the soft serve ice cream.

The hotel lacks any kind of onsen, which I would say is the only thing missing right now for a truly outstanding experience.

I've used this hotel for the third time because of the traffic, but the service is getting worse.

1. There was a confusion in the check-in reservation, but the staff's response to the explanation process was unkind.

2. Even though it's a non-smoking room, there's an unpleasant smell of cigarettes and mold in the room.

とても清潔でスタッフの皆様も親切でした。
朝食は種類も豊富でお味も良く最高でした。広いダイニングは快適でした。
不満は、脱衣カゴがない事、入浴時の着替えをトイレの蓋の上に置きました。もう一つ、部屋着が男女同じで、厚手の木綿で、前開きではなかったので、髪を着脱の度に気にしなくてはいけなくて、ちょっとイライラしました。
環境は海に面した美しい場所で最高でした。ありがとうございました。JRの会員になっております。こちらの系列のホテルはどこも素晴らしいです。

Great property with very, very helpful front desk staff. The hotel is within 2 minute walking distance to the ferry and bus terminals. The views from the rooms were fantastic and the housekeeping was excellent for such a relatively small hotel. Just don't confuse it with the Inn next door as the name's are nearly identical.

페리타고 섬에 들어가기 너무 편하고 공항 버스정류장이 호텔 정문 앞이라 너무 좋아요. 주변에 우동 맛집 메리켄야 있고 다카카츠역 다키마츠칫코역 심볼타워 타마고 공원 모두 가깝습니다.
다카마츠 여행에서의 최적의 위치인 것 같습니다.

무엇보다 2시 체크인, 12시 체크아웃으로 다른 호텔보다 빠른 체크인, 늦은 체크아웃이 가능해서 좋네요.

Hotel room was big and spacious with lots of surfaces for spreading out your stuff. Only complaint was a lack of power outlets and none by the bed. There were two by the desk and luckily we had brought plugs that could support two charging cords. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of Japanese and western options at the buffet. Location right beside the station was very convenient. Easy walk to the shopping streets and lots of restaurants. Hotel also offers a variety of dining options. Would highly recommend.

This was one of the best hotel stay during a 2 week trip. The hotel is located right next to the JR Takamatsu station with taxis and major bus terminal in front. The ultimate convenience when touring the area. Also, there are seemingly limitless dining options in front of the hotel. The room had a spectacular view of Takamatsu Castle Ruins in front and the Takamatsu Symbol Tower from the side window. There was a sitting area built right in front of the window to fully leverage the viewing experience. Also, most Japanese hotels have hard pillows which are uncomfortable. But this place had fluffy Down feather pillows which made for a comfortable sleep.

Top hotel in Japan with the highest quality of facilities and customer service. Also a great location next to the train station and harbour with attractive views from our 9th floor room. Even has an in-house bakery! Lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

Not completely unfriendly to foreigners but not welcoming either. We were turned away from a half empty steak house because it was “fully booked” even though it was only 1/3 full. Little English spoken. Don’t stay if you have food allergies. All the restaurants had course menus only-no choices

The location is excellent. Just a couple minutes walk from Takamatsu Station. The room is big and comfortable. The hotel restaurants are excellent too. As the hotel guest, we got to tried the Waygu A5 dinner for about $60 person. The steak was so good, better than the one we have at Kobe. The only complaint I have is the hotel only has two washer/dryer machine. It takes two hours for each cycle. I have people doing their laundry in the middle of the night. If they can provide more machine. I would have to say this is one of the best hotel we stay in Japan.

My young adult son and I again stayed at the JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu for several nights. It was excellent, as usual. The rooms are very quiet. Very elegant hotel with many amenities. The staff were well trained and helpful. It’s walking distance to Takamatsu station and Takamatsu port. Hotel parking gets filled quickly but hotel guests can access public parking through hotel parking with a fee. Be sure to get a parking ticket when you check out.

Love staying at this hotel in Takamatsu

This is our second time staying at the JR hotel clement takamatsu. We enjoyed it the first time we were here and decided to stay again our 2nd trip.

The standard room is plenty spacious and the large windows with view of the city/ferry area are just lovely.

The location is great, with both the main JR train station, ferry, and local train station all within 1-2 blocks. Which also means plenty of food and convenience around as well.

We actually ate in the hotel restaurant this time for the breakfast buffet, summer afternoon tea, and dinner buffet. The afternoon tea was quite good and the price was great (especially with the yen->usd right now). The breakfast and dinner buffets were also pretty good for the prices and the amount of things offered.

We booked partially viewed room but somewhat we stayed a room with a view, overlooking the castle park. We stayed a different hotel in Takamatsu earlier of the trip and we felt that we should have stayed here instead. The service are excellent as all staff are trained well. The Superb breakfast! A good value for money indeed.
