Unsanitary and sketchy. Upon arrival for check in and departure for checkout, the guests services guy wasn’t welcoming. Doors to the lobby were locked in the middle of the day. You have to stand outside to inquire about anything.

So the unsanitary part, I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. The sheets had blood stains, and bodily fluids on it. That also includes cigarette burns on the unclean sheets. It smelled like water damage and was humid inside. The attendant guy offered me another room and it too smelt horrible. Be careful with this place the doors are unlocked too.

Overall, that place sucks bad. I’m not exaggerating, I’m just being honest. Book somewhere else if you’re temporarily visiting in the DeRidder area.

This hotel room was SO nasty! When we first walked in, there were dead termites all over the floor and all over the a/c unit. I put the a/c unit on high cool and it was barely blowing air. We took the two filters out of the unit and it started blowing a little better. The filters were so full of dust that the air could not blow out. All the dresser drawers were broke. The smoke detector was ripped from the wall and thrown into a dresser drawer. All the lamps were rusted and peeling. Then we get to the bathroom. The tub was FULL of black dirt and grime. The toilet bowl had dried poop in it, all over. The toilet seat rim was full of dried up urine, from men using the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was ripped off the wall and laying behind the toilet. The floors were disgusting! We had to go to the store and buy cleaning supplies. My husband scrubbed the tub and I cleaned the toilet. The toilet itself almost fell over when sitting on it. It leaked after flushing. All over the floor and the tub was very slow to drain. The whole sinkand counter top was gross. No one has cleaned that room in a long time. We did have clean towels/washrags. Surprisingly, the bed sheets were clean and so was the comforter. But, at this point, we didn't want to sleep in the beds! We brought our own pillows and blanket, so we used them. I know the old saying, \"you get what you pay for\" and we usually go for the more expensive hotels because of this, but lesson learned.

The first room I was in was filthy, waiting for housekeeping upon arrival at 2pm. I asked for a new room and they said it would take 30 minutes to cut another key. Then I ran into the housekeeping lady and she informed me that keys were universal; as in guests were issued the housekeeping key. Which makes sense because the door card readers were inoperative in both rooms. Smoke detectors weren’t installed. Soap scum and god knows what else inside the tub. Linens were threadbare. $60/night, I guess you get what you pay for. The only real redeeming quality was the housekeeping lady. I was in town for work on night shift and she still left clean linens for me outside the door. She was nice and kind. Unfortunately, for $10/night more I can stay somewhere slightly cleaner, more convenient, and not have to trust that the other guests don’t figure out we all have the same key.

I had a horrible time. The tv remote wasn’t working so they switched me to another room. That room had a heater that wasn’t working, its was below 30° at some point. Then the other room the gave me, the tv was broken, it was as if it was hit or dropped. There was a double black bar down the left side of the screen and the picture would go dim then dark then come back on for about 20 seconds and then go back to dim then dark.

This property should be shut down, i will not put my dog in that condition the microwave unbelievable, I was scared to warn my food. That's just high nasty, it was the bed was broke. The heater was broke no second, lock on the door Hey, Mini rooms available.
But kept sticking me to the back like I was security. I never will go there again, i would i will hope that they shut this place down is ridiculous. Who write a room with blue sheets on the bed? The bathroom have mole so much bleach. Could not sleep accident for my money back. He had a problem kept telling me he was gonna move me but did not.
But i'm blessed moon's at the nerves to be 57 dollars, 67. With text, don't stay here, don't waste your time. You have a better chance sleeping in your car, any bad bugs have a blessed day.

When I arrived the tv remote wouldn’t work so they moved me to a different room. That room heater stopped working so I was again moved. That rooms tv was broken, like it had been dropped….there was a large double black line down the left vertical side and the picture would go in and out. The guy at the counter acted like I was a bother but I am the customer and his property was a disaster. Other customers were complaining to him as well.

This hotel was not satisfactory at all. Our original room had no power. We were then moved to another room that was dirty. When I spoke to the manager the next day, he said \"I shoukd have told him sooner\". There was no house keeping at all. No clean towels, it was horrible. We will never stay here again. The manager also said he would give us a $25 discount, but that hasn't happened.

The people running this place were not there at check in had a note on the window to come back at 3 you have to go get your own towels and coffee each day and when you come to check out they don’t want to give you check out papers they hand write you a reciept and the lady is so rude she mumbles curse words at you and then lies and say they gave you a reciept the day before you check out one of my friends had a room there to her room was infested with bed bugs then they swapped her room and the light was catching on fire just glad she woke up then our other friends had a reservation and when they got there they turned them away and said they had canceled their room which they did not I think they did not want them there because of their skin color they were not white cause there was 6 rooms left empty that night never again will I stay at this hotel you could not even use the dressers cause they had old food and candy stuck in the draws never ever again

They do not serve breakfast. They keep the doors locked all the time and you have to do all your business through a small window. I had paid for the room when I reserved it online. When my sister checked in, they charged her again for the room and at a higher rate than I had paid online. I had to go to the hotel and get the charges reversed on her card. This was during a stressful time. My sister had just passed away and we were trying to get a lot of business taken care of.

The web site for this Inn is very much outdated. This Inn does NOT have an open lobby, they have the door locked, and only have access through the night window. Which definitely did NOT exude a vibe of \"welcome\" in the least. In fact, since I checked out earlier than anticipated, I wanted to leave the key card at the office. I had to ring the bell, and got the feeling that I was disturbing them. The phone in my room did NOT work (no dial tone). I had a cell phone, so I was good. Just letting people know. My room was very clean, so no complaints there. And is was close to where I needed to be. But I believe that if they offer a continental breakfast online, it should be available, and at the very least, if the room has a phone, it should work. If they don't offer phone service, remove the phone. If people use the website in determining where to stay, I believe that it should be up to date and not offer what they don't have.

Don’t understand English and rude as hell and thie

First off the older lady is RUDE AS HELL! ac would not wirk(tripped breaker) when I arrived toilet was clogged I called lady was rude said wouldn’t move me if she even understood(she neither spoke or understood English well). Room stunk was only 3 rooms rented I know why. When I departed I realized when I got to my destination I had forgotten my glasses on the night stand I called at 7 am of course rude old lady answered all she would say was ok, I mean we are in America and it’s Americas best inn, at least speak enough to communicate. I called later spoke to a female she said I could come look, I stated I’m 2 hours away the old lady said ok to holding them, this lady rudely statwd wasn’t her problem, wow how rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, seems they have issues with Americans, killing these people with kindness was pointless. Thank God I wasn’t dying all she could say was ok!
So my thing is what the hell good are prescription glasses to a cleaning lady, I mean geez!

More bang, less buck.

First room had TV issue, mgmt quickly changed rooms. It's not a big city Hilton, but it is the third place I have stayed in the Deridder-Leesville area and the best. The location is not what the online description indicates but the landscaping makes you forget you're in town. One detail I really appreciated was the high visibility when trying to pull out of the hotel.

Besides the smelly rooms it’s a fair property to stay at for the money. I paid $110 for 2 nights. However, when I came back from my exhibition I was locked out of my own room. My clothes were thrown away and a vape missing. Don’t forget my checkout was the following day. I had Forgot to put “ Don’t Disturb” sign out side the door but soon realized there wasn’t any. They told me the room service didn’t bring anything to submit in the lost and found box. I just couldn’t do anything about $50 I had in my stuff they threw away.

First the reservation we made through Expedia didn’t go to them because they don’t use a the computer , so make sure you call them for your reservation if you have no choice to stay here.
The room was a double bed and was absolutely filthy from roof to floor. Only reason we stayed was because everyone else was booked that night & we brought our own cleaning supplies. Mold in several locations in the bathroom and a disgusting smell in the room. If you stay here make sure you bring your own bed sheets and if you don’t have them there’s plenty of stores around to buy them nearby. Skip this place and go for the comfort inn down the street!

The first morning of our stay the house keeper knocked on our door at 8, we wasn't even awake yet after a long drive but politely said we wouldn't need room service that day. I did end up getting a couple new towles and more coffee filters from front desk. After we left for the day and came back found out she came in our room anyway, fortunately it doesn't appear she took anything but didn't replace the stuff she took out of our room ( floor towel, hand towels, and wash rags.) When we came back to park both nights of our stayed we barely could get out of our car the first night due to spaces being so close together, second night had to park all the way up by the office and walked to the back. The continental breakfast was quite the joke went up there first morning at 9 was just packaged muffins, cinnamon rolls, and couple chocolate doughnuts. Second morning at 8 went up to check out 3 cinnamon rolls, 6 muffins, half eaten doughnut, and what looked like day old coffee. In summation the next time we go to fort Polk to see our son stationed there we wont be staying again.

The room was tidy and clean. The soaps were nice and the shower had good pressure. The fridge and microwave were quite useful. Also, the dog fee was reasonable.
On the downside, the room, and therefore the bed, were at a slanted angle. The landscaping was dilapidated. And the window/AC unit let in a lot of noise from the outside.

When we got there we waited almost an hour before someone came to help. They checked us in and we were about to go to our rooms and the lady comes running and yelling that we need a new room that one is full. We get a new room, and someone’s stuff is in it. Someone was staying in that room too! Finally we get a room. It’s not the one we paid for but it had a bed. It smelled awful like musty all the time.

Let me start by saying the worst hotel I have been in my life. I arrived late and booked online prior requesting non smoking room. Upon entrance all I smelled was cigarettes. Toilet was very unclean. That’s not all I tried lay in bed and the pillows were bloody with old blood on the pillow cover! Unbelievable. I have never experienced such a thing. They need to have a site visit by someone to experience the truth. Do not even think about going there. I took photos and Unfortunately not allowing me to post for you to see . I got a non smoking room that smelled of smoke. Lights didn’t work properly and half the lamps didn’t have light bulb. I will not book again

Property is in town. The price was great. The room is a standard American hotel room. No bells and whistles, but we were not requiring any.

My horrible stay

I booked a smoking room and told they didnt have it, really slow rude staff. I went in for breakfast at 8 am and nothing out so I ring bell and they owner comes out rude I asked for the breakfast and she stormed off and brought back frozen cinnamon rolls. I also put towels outside my door and housekeeping never picked them up so the owner comes over yelling at me

My room was ok. Had a funny smell. There were sunflower seed shells shoved in the side of the cushioned chair. Some trash left on the floor. Other than that it was fine. I was too tired to try and have it changed. Check in and out was interesting. The lady hardly spoke English and was difficult to understand. Not very friendly either.

No continental breakfast as advertised. First morning went down for breakfast, door was locked. Rang bell, woman with toothbrush in mouth with toothpaste running down her chin came and mumbled what did I want. She than unlocked door, said there was coffee, rice cakes & small package of muffins, that was it. This was definitely not Continental breakfast as advertised.
