I didn’t enjoy my stay here, The boss of the property was walking around the whole day being rude unkind and didn’t greet us with any respect. The pool that I booked the room for was closed, and the water was filled and exposed ready to use. After our towels were given to us they were dirty. I am definitely going to ask for a refund.

Front desk staff were amazing! Room was clean. Housekeeping brought us more towels when we needed them. Parking was great! Rhonda was excellent at keeping everything filled at breakfast! Food was good. They didn’t have trash can liners in the trash cans but we just used Walmart sacks. The beds were not super comfortable but they worked. Will definitely stay there again!

This is probably the nicest hotel in Deridder. That's probably not saying much since the other hotels are Oyo and America's Best Value but I had no problems and it was clean. The AC worked well and the staff was friendly.

Wonderful quiet!

Everything was so clean and ready for our stay. We went to bed early both nights and it was very quiet which you don't always get. Bed was very comfortable and we never
woke up until the morning. I must tell you again how quiet it was and how much we appreciated it after being up as

This is the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed in. The staff were very helpful and kind. The building was clean and maintained. The guests were treated like royalty. I could comment gratefully on the staff at the front desk, the maintenance guy, and the cleaning staff. They were all eager to help. The one individual that stood out above all was the the lady that ran the breakfast area, Chandra, I believe was her name. Chandra was not only a pleasant, hard worker but was also eager to please and engage with each guest. Give that woman a raise!

The hotel was overbooked and I did not get the chance to stay. My son and I had to go down the road to a terrible alternative that had roaches all over the place. The attendant on duty had no idea I would be coming as she thought someone notified me that they overbooked and I didn't have a room. In addition, I was told that i wouldn't be charged for the room. I was charged and still awaiting my refund.

Property is lacking with reasonable breakfast hours. They close breakfast at 9 am. Insane! People are on vacation & sleep in. Plus, housekeeping starts coming around to rooms at 8 am. WTH! There are no signs to put on doors to avoid them knocking loudly & walking in. Save the planet & only come in at checkout & when requested like other hotels.

I reserved a king room. When I checked in. The clerk told me she needed that room so she gave me a room with two queen beds. I asked if there was any other kings available. She said yes but they cost a little bit more. I told her if she kick me out my room she should upgrade me and not downgrade me. And she informed me that not how it works. I told her I figure best Western would rather upgrade me then downgrade me for the same price. So in a nutshell I reserve the king suite got put in a double queen suite for the same charge when there was King suites available. Bad business

The Manager Aaron or Erin , or however you spell her name. Since she was so rude to give her name properly while walking away.

The morning of my stay, I was rudely awaken by the house cleaning lady by banging at the door like they were the police! I called the front desk to raise my concerns about the staff member banging on peoples door…we can hear her after she banged at ours. I was cussing at the situation especially cuz I have PTSD and I was explaining the situation to her when she said “well ma’am if you don’t like it , you can check out” at 9am!!!!! Know your difference when people address a concern, listen to people before assuming you are getting “cussed” out. KNOW the difference of people irate due to health issues from serving our country so that THAT manager can live her life at peace.

Let me start by saying as we prepared for bed, we pulled the covers back and food was left over from the previous person. We booked on hotels.com and it stated a free hot breakfast. Well they only had what they called a “grab and go bag”. They passed out bags like we were inmates headed to work. Worst hotel exotics ever had in my 46 years
