Klintvägen Apartments offers eight modern, fully furnished apartments in a peaceful, green residential area of Mariehamn. Opened in 2017, each apartment features brand-new furnishings and appliances, including free Wi-Fi, Netflix, and fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers and washing machines.
Larger apartments also include a PlayStation 4. Smart code locks allow for easy 24/7 self-check-in.
The city center is just a 5-10 minute bike ride or walk (1. 5 km) away, offering easy access to shops, cafes, restaurants, museums, and beaches.
Everything the main island of Åland has to offer is within a 30-minute drive. Kastelholms Castle and one of Finland's best golf courses are within 25 km of Mariehamn.
Nearby, you'll find Restaurant Smakbyn, owned by renowned chef Michael Björklund. Families will enjoy a stop at the Chips Factory en route to the castle.
The Stallhagen microbrewery and its popular gastropub are also worth a visit. Åland offers numerous activities for families (farms, fishing, Smart Park, and a wild animal park), sports enthusiasts, and those seeking an active stay.

Very comfortable accommodations - especially the bed! Area is quiet and residential, about a 20 min walk to the main parts of town. We were there during a heat wave so it was a bit warm in our apartment but overall it was a good stay.

Fin lägenhet som hade allt som kan behövas för självhushållning och matlagning. Bra läge med promenadavstånd till centrum. Lungt område. Sängkläder betalas på sidan av men det är inte tillåtet med egna sängkläder. Jag tycker nog att kostnaden då borde ingå i priset eftersom den är obligatorisk och inte går att välja bort. Vi är nöjda med vistelsen och kan varmt rekommendera Klintvägen.

Pohjakerroksen asuntoon kuului melko paljon meteliä, kun ihmiset kävivät ulkona tupakalla ja kulkivat portaissa paljon öiseen aikaan. Suihkun termostaatti ei toiminut ja WC-pönttö jäi helposti valumaan, koska vetonuppi ei toiminut kunnolla. WC:ssä oli myös melko voimakas haju. Lakanamaksun maksaminen erikseen käteisellä oli hieman epäkäytännöllistä. Jos lakanat on pakko vuokrata majoituspaikasta, eikö olisi helpompi maksaa ne varauksen yhteydessä?

Yhtään kuvaa ei ollut siitä huoneistosta jossa olimme. Osa kuvauksesta ei pitänyt paikkaansa, mm. garden view (ikkuna kadulle) ja luksuspetivaatteet (ihan tavalliset). Vessa/suihku tila oli miniatyyrikokoinen, ahdas. Ei kunnon siivousvälineitä. Petivaatteista piti maksaa erikseen, ei saanut käyttää omia.

Viihtyisä ja mukava huoneisto, plussaa oli tiskikone, pesukone ja kaikki keittiön välineet. Huonosti toteutetut turvattomat sähkötyöt olivat miinus.

Hyvin varusteltu majapaikka, josta löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Siisteydessä ei mitään moitittavaa. Täällä vietettiin mukava loma, vaikka lasten sairastelun takia jouduttiin viettämään enemmän aikaa sisätiloissa kuin oli alun perin tarkoitus. Kiitso myös siis isosta telkkarista ja Netflixista ;)

Täysin remontoitu ja siisti huoneisto toisessa kerroksessa. Varasimme huoneen, jossa olisi parveke tai patio, ei ollut kumpaakaan. Piti olla myös kannettava tuuletin, ei ollut. Meillä oli oma tuuletin mukana, joten emme ruvenneet sitä kyselemään. Oli kova helle, joten huoneistossa oli hyvin kuuma, koska ilmastointia ei ole. Onneksi oli läpi talon huoneisto, joten kaikki ikkunat ja ovet auki pitämällä pärjäsi. Bideetä ei ollut vessassa. Parvekkeen kanssa huoneisto olisi ollut kiitettävä. Talviaikaan sen puute tuskin häiritsee :)

It was a bit disappointing that our apartment didn't match the pictures. It wasn't as moderni as the pictures showed. We had also problems with toilet as the toilet button got stuck every now and then. However apartment was very clean and bed was really comfy. Location was ok, 1,5km to the centre in a quiet neighbourhood.

Nice apartment and excellent service in Mariehamn
Nice flat with a brand new kitchen and clean rooms. Excellent service - always available when needed. I recommend this to family travelers or anybody willing to have two nice rooms and a kitchen instead of a single room.

Very nice alternative to hotels
Our 2 room apartment was a nice and spacious alternative to staying in a hotel room. We only made our own breakfast, but the well equipped kitchen would've allowed cooking all meals in-house. Never actually met the host, but communication by email was very helpful, and a minor issue with door code was quicly solved by phone.

We stayed three nights in October. Everything we needed was very near from the apartment, although everything kind of is in Aland. The owner visited us and gave us tips where to visit and the apartment had many magazines full of info regarding the activities at hand.
Very peaceful neighborhood and there was a playground at the end of the road and also a walkaway where one can take a morning run.
The apartment had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine (which is a bonus in case you have a longer stay or this is just a part of your journey).

The room was very clean, nicely decorated, and with comfortable bed. Separate kitchen and bedroom with large TV, and access to own balcony. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils. The owner was friendly and communication easy. Very good place to stay with children as there was a kids chair, bath, toys and a playground close by (not in the same lot, but two mins walk away). Only minus is that the bathroom door was very hard to close entirely so it was basically not possible to lock it.
I would definitely stay here again. Good value for money.
