This place is the most horrible hotel I ever stayed at.
We had to change rooms three different times because the toilets wasn’t working for the water pressure wasn’t working and one of the AC units was leaking water everywhere.
They kept coming up with all types of excuses, then he wouldn’t even give me my refund.

An older LaQuinta motel. Stained covered chairs, laminate flooring. The mats outside are very worn. Tracked in water when going in and out in the rain.
I requested a downstairs room unless an elevator was available. Was given an upstairs room and told couldn't change because I selected two beds. As I was leaving they saw my mobility issue and exchanged my room. The breakfast area is cramped but the continental breakfast was fresh.

This location looked as if it needed total renovation. Remote to tv did not work, stains on tub. Toothpaste still on backsplash of sink. Floor very dirty left our socks and feet black. Door to bathroom would only open halfway before it would get stuck on floor. AC did not have cover on outside. Just really run down. Very dissatisfied.

We brought a pet that we thought was going to stay got to stay with us $25 a night in the pool was so nasty you couldn't swim and it was all nasty around the whole hotel like cigarette butts and food and clothes and just all kinds of gross stuff

There is no elevator at all! The rooms were fairly clean, but the outside has beer cans and bottles and trash all over the ground and parking lot…stairwell had trash on them… our room keys never worked , had to go have them reprogrammed every time to get in the room… definitely overpriced for sure!

The room was decent yet humid and sticky. The staff manager was good about a situation however the young lady answering the phone and problem managing needs more training. I got the impression she is new and young. She was courteous but wasn’t sure how to handle the situation. Left me on hold off the hook for 15 minutes while taking care of other guest then hung up on me. I called back to talk to the manager to deal with the people outside partying a, drinking and smoking pot. Not amused with my teenager there.

Room - spotless and very clean. Perhaps the cleanest room I have ever rented, even cleaner than the Venetian in Las Vegas.

Neither my phone or laptop were able to use their wifi. It kept getting rejected as unsafe. This has never happened before or anywhere else I went during my stay in Lufkin and I used various wifi's in different locations. Management tried to help with no success. No internet is a total deal breaker. Also, breakfast was terrible and I burned my hand on the stupid waffle iron. Very cheap low class place.

I have stayed at LQ a lot in my life. This motel (not hotel) was dirty, sink faucet loose, no housekeeping service while staying, toilet had a weird. Not up to LQ standards. You need to remove this motel from your franchise. I’ll make sure I check better. Nothing like the pics!!!

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
The entire experience was a nightmare that seemed to never end. I should have known better but my budget was tight and I thought to myself...\"how bad can it be...after all it's a Wyndham hotel ?\"
It was worse than I could imagine. I was in town to take care of some business. I prepaid for 4 nights but trusted the Wyndham brand.
The first night I was exhausted & just wanted to shower and go to bed. I found the room to be dirty and well below my standards. The sheets were suspect and bedspread had a cigarette burn. The floor was slippery as if I were a fast food employee working in the kitchen. The shower had definitely seen better days.
My first instinct was to call the front desk and make my complaint known. Lo and behold, the phone in the room wasn't plugged up and the cord was frayed. This meant I had to walk down to the office.
The person at the front desk offered to move me to another room. At that moment I was just too tired to gather my belongings and move to another room. Besides, I didn't want to be disappointed even further.
By the grace of God, I managed to stay in that room the first night...needless to say, I didn't sleep under the covers. Day 2 - Guess what? Some of the same issues were present in the 2nd room. Now I also have to contend with a squeaky bed.
Fortunately, day 3 & 4, I had to be up early and didn't return to the \"hell hole\" until late night.
My future hotel stays will never include LaQuinta or Wyndham. (I'm better off sleeping in my truck!)

Night guy was rude and didn't speak much. He threw the card keys on the counter and walked away. He didn't even tell me where the room was located. When he finally came back and I asked him he just pointed. I work nights and I'm not an A-hole or rude to people like him. The day staff was very nice smiling and talking to their guest. The room was clean but a dirty rag use for cleaning was left on the corner of the bad. Walked on the floor with clean socks and they were brown afterwards. We had an upstairs room but walking to them we had water dripping down on us from all of the upstairs AC units. Breakfast looked pretty good but only had coffee which was good. We were headed to the hospital to check on a loved one so no time to eat. Overall not too bad of an experience.

I had already checked in online and added my drivers license and credit card, I still had to provide it in person so it was redundant. Then I got to my room and it was opened. I had to go get food and my room was not locking. Someone came to help but I was feeling unsafe and was not changed from room. The pool was also closed down. Nothing worked the way it should.
