The only good thing at this hotel is the breakfast and the rate. My room was poorly cleaned. Layer of dirt on the sitting bench, sink had a crack in it, bed sheet had a stain on it. Seems the hotel has not been taken care of. The shower has rust spots all over.

The interior needs updating. It smells. Bathroom has mold and rust. There was a jar of Vaseline left on the floor. Only fifteen TV channels. Would not recommend. If you are desperate stay here. Only good thing is that it is pet friendly.

The staff was not welcoming at all. No greetings, just look away. The cleaning staff parked outside our door and was very loud. Our room did not get cleaned that day.
The towels and sheets were worn and had black marks on them. They did smell cleaned but had holes and fraying edges.
We went down to breakfast on Saturday at 9:30. When we asked if there were more sausages we were told breakfast was over. The front desk had said it ended at 10:00. The last evening in our room we found a bug. Not positive about what kind but it looked very similar to a roach. Overall not a comfortable stay in Kingsville, TX

Stayed here on 3/12/26 was originally booked through 3/14/26. Checked out on the 13th because the places made me feel dirty, the room stank and the shower pan had rust in it, the bedding had a blood stain (still RED) I went to the local walmart and bought my own sheets, air freshners and pillow. To top it off when i complained at he front desk all I got was a sorry and your bill is $207.00 Won't be booking another La Quinta again in my entire life!

Had to keep going back and forth to do changes and we were in a hurry to check it because we had to be somewhere. When we came back we finally had a room and had to move all our stuff. I took pictures of the bathroom. Hair on the toilet, corner of shower (outside) next to floor broken and missing part of wall, shower door dirty in several places especially where sliding doors met. Only 1 bar of soap, shampoo and conditioner in room for 2 people. Clothing and card left by someone behind the chair in the room. Very disappointed. I thought La Quinta was one of the best. Not true.

Our room was not clean upon arrival and had a slight odor/ sticky residue on the walls/ floor. I notified the front desk but all rooms were taken and cleaning staff was gone for the day. I was provided a mop and mopped my own room. I woke up in the middle of the night with a bloody nose and noticed what appeared to be black mold on the ceiling. Our bathroom fan also rattled so loud you could hear in from the hallway. I took videos of all this and open to sharing.

I usually like La Quinta for it's quality. However, the one in Kingsville, Tx is showing it's age. Many of the floor tiles in common areas are cracked. Lots of rust on metal vents. The room had a musty smell. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The window had mildew above the AC. Staff was professional. Breakfast was excellent. However, if you are expecting the standard that La Quinta provides you will be disappointed with this hotel. We brought up the issues with the staff and they said they would look into it. However, I suspect it will take a full hotel overhaul before it gets back to the standard I am familiar with.

Cleaning staff came into my room very loudly around 8am and did not knock or say they were housekeeping. With that said, this hotel does not have a security latch on the inside, so you’re while in the room hotel staff or housekeeping can access your room. Would not stay here again for that reason alone.
Bathroom was very dirty, tub had brown stains and there was a strong mold smell all throughout the hotel.

The main floor smelt very bad. Would have left but was not sure I would get my money back. The employee was sitting in a chair playing on the phone and watched me stand at the counter for awhile before getting up to check me in. The room smelled as well, probably from the AC unit. The glass shower door did not function properly. A chair in the room had a rip. The carpets in were very dirty. Stray animal was hanging around the entrance two days in a row. The worst experience we have every had with this chain. Very dissatisfied with the entire experience and would not advice people to stay there.

Carpets are NASTY & STAINED shampoo wouldn’t help, need to be REPLACED. The beds are very high and hard for a person to get in, pillows are like trying to sleep on rocks, all 5 of them‼️‼️‼️breakfast was awesome. Staff is friendly, but speak broken English, hard to understand what you say to them, and even harder to understand the reply. VERY POOR LIGHTING IN THE ROOMS. Parking was good, entrances were good. Won’t stay there again if ever in the area with all the other choices in the area.

The breakfast ran out of hot food by 9:25. No one ever came to refill it. There were also very limited choices in other non-hot items. No flavors for coffee creamer. The tub was stained and appeared nasty. The bathroom vent was extremely loud and annoying. The bed was comfortable though, and the AC was nice and cold.

This property is in a good location but the property itself needs updating. The bathroom had stains all over the shower and toilet. The water had a terrible odor, we even had to call the front office to ask if it was safe to use. Room smelled of sewage. The sheets had multiple stains and dust all over desk and nightstands. The room was dirty and needed multiple repairs. The safe didn't work, the mirror was missing from entry wall, the shower was rusty and the door wouldn't close, there were miscellaneous stains on the bathroom door, the floor felt sticky and the entire room needed painting including the ceiling. The rugs throughout the halls and entrance needed to be shampooed or replaced. Worst La Quinta we have ever stayed in.

The stay was okay; I had a different expectation of the room. First night, no extra toilet paper was left & very little on the dispenser. The corner lamp was off and had to plug to socket which was hard to do, hardly any space to get to it plus when moving the chair, one its leg was broken & had a hard time pulling out & placing it back. The following day, when I returned being out most of the day, the beds had not been done nor the trash picked up & no floor shower towel left. The cleaning crew should take pride in keeping rooms clean & tidy.

*** I do want to commend the two employees who worked during the night of my stay that they were nice & ready to assist. We were greeted every time would come in!!

This La Quinta felt very humid. I rented the room for 2 nights. I got in at 2 AM but when I went into my room I notice 1/4 of the carpet was wet. There was hair all over the rest room. We told the front desk about the wet carpet and they said there was no a maintenance person that day. We went out for the day and we we got back out room was not cleaned. They left a long note about there being some clothes on top of the bed so for that reason they left no towels or anything. We ended up leaving. I did not stay the second night.
