Room was very musty smelling. Had to purchase air fresheners to bear the smell. Towels and sheets were thread bare. Smoke detector was broken. Only 1 travel size shampoo. No face cloths or hand towels and no soap. No dryer, no tissues, no cups or glasses. Bath towels looked used so we requested fresh. Continental breakfast consisted of 2 kinds of cereal and a gallon of milk and coffee. It was raining and cold the entire time so could not use the pool. It did look inviting.

Was in Kingsville for Family Weekend at TAMUK, booked the hotel last minute. Was not really anything else available. The pictures online are deceiving. Check-In went well, staff was friendly. Room had some damage and tub would back up while showering. See pictures. There was only 2 body towels had to request wash towels and floor mat towel for shower.

Don’t do it. This place is old with no updates. There are long term residents living in the hotel that obviously run down the place. There are so many repairs this place needs. It was like being on an episode of “ Hotel Impossible” but Anthony Melchiorri never shows up.

Well the gentleman in the front office was friendly, but in the room I stayed the door couldn't lock the shower got a clotted they really needed to unclog it. The bed was comfy. They do need maintenance though. Everything else was ok.

We ended up leaving and found a cleaner hotel. First thing we noticed before we got in the room- the screen on the window was broken, looked like someone tried to break in! Opened room door to the smell of marijana. Bed pillow cases were dingy, and an old sock was found in a drawer. Bathroom had only 1 towel (in a double bed room?) no hand towels and a completely empty tissue box. Shame on the cleaning crew. Worst hotel I’ve ever been too…so bad we left

Unlikely to recommend and unlikely to use again

Not very clean. Urine around the sides of the bottom of the toilet. Sheets and towels stained and no washcloths were in the room. Mattress laying out in stare well along with some old air conditioning units. Things just seem to be crumbling down like the stairway. No breakfast other than cold cereal and milk no coffee no pancakes syrup available. No orange juice or fresh fruit..

Overall, the price for this hotel was reasonable. The staff was attentive and kind. The bed felt pretty comfortable and we were able to rest.
The continental breakfast did not include any fruit or waffles. There was only milk, cereal, coffee and bread.

The room my father was in had a rust stain in the tub, there were no towels plus he said that he counted roaches. My room had a non GCFI plug within 6 feet of the sink that is not up to NEC. The had rails on the stairs where coming out of the wall and some of the railing was rusted completely out. When I checked in I noticed that the breakfast area was still dirty and it was close to 1500 hours. Needless to say I will not be staying there again.

Floor next to de A/C soak wet, the humidity smell was horrible, I reserved for four guests and had just 2 towels and a tiny soap. Breakfast was supposed to be included, the worst thing ever, just one choice of cereal, pancake/waffle machine out of service, and no coffee. It was just for one night and a few hours sleep, it’s not even worth for it.-100 stars.

Our room had a very musty odor, carpets were badly stained, the restroom had hair left in the shower, more dirt stains on the walls, the bare minimum of towels were given for a 2 night stay, we requested an extra pillow for the king size bed (there were 3 very small pillows) but they did not have any. The bedsheets looked clean but did not smell clean. The entire room just felt dirty. It is an older hotel and needs a full facelift. Bathroom outlet did not work either. We ended up checking out early and found other accommodations.

We had a comfortable stay. Our room was clean and well kept. Pool area was clean as well but the hot pool was not on, which was a shame because it was a cool evening and it would have been nice to get in. Our only complains would be, 1. breakfast was very limited. They only had a choice of 3 items, bread, cereals, and coffee. 2. Outdoor area was a little unkept. They had ACs staked by the staircase/ walkway which can be very dangerous especially when traveling with children. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. Wouldn’t mind staying again, but will consider taking our own breakfast items next time.

ROOM 114: Ok, yes, you get what you pay for but really? Basic maintenance should NOT be an issue. Our room must have recently had carpets cleaned (?). The carpet was still damp and a strong musty, moldy smell slapped you in the face when we entered. We went out and shoved some car \"trees\" in our vents then smell was tolerable. The shower did not drain well at all.Showers were in 2 inches of water. Then,NONE of the 4 outlets/plugs in bathroom worked, had to blow dry hair in living room. On the positive side, room ac was good and cold and bed was pretty comfortable. With just a little more attention and pride in your hotel, your reviews would definitely improve. Just FIX whats broken BEFORE guests use a room. We will gladly pay more next time, and stay somewhere else.

Motel was not great but had no other choice. Rooms are in need of updates and cleaning. Fridge was dirty , looked like housekeeping did not bother to wipe it down. Shower curtain was torn and dingy, in need of a good wash as well as the towels. Some bleach would help or maybe buy new ones. Tried to hang my towel up and towel hanger broke. Do not even get me started on breakfast or lack thereof, took one look and was a hard no for me.

Th me property had chairs all around the outside of the building. I paid for a suite and the photos did not look like what I booked. My sheets had cigarette burns, clothes left in the drawers, a frozen cup of water, a dirty pair of boxer briefs on the floor, the AC had car air fresheners to make the mold smell unnoticeable, no shampoo, the lotion was used, no Kleenex, the tv barely worked, no fresh towels and the sofa had underwear stuffed in the cushions. Gross. I could not stand to stay there for long and the man who checked me in told me to leave the key card in the room upon checking out. Called the front desk and no one helped. This was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever experienced

front desk was friendly, checked into room it was full of mold patches of sheetrock in the shower. let them know i wnted to be switched to another room the front desk the came out to look at what i was talking about he touched the mold and said i don’t see nothing wrong but ill swtch you. he then switched us and ac wasn’t working there was mold all over the ac unit and curtains we just left it was terrible. didn’t bother complaining.

I checked in on the 15th. The man at office did not want me to have a key. He had to open door for us with a master key and told me if I was to leave to look for him when I get back so he could open door me. I said I was going to a game and then going out after and didn’t know what time I would be back. He said didn’t matter what time I got back just to look for him so he could open door for us. Wife was not comfortable with him having the only key to our room. I told him I wasn’t staying here and to refund my money. so I contacted hotels.com and they called the manager to get my money back and no one would answer the phone. Today they tried calling again and no would answer. Hotels.com was nice enough to give me Credit on my next stay. Do not stay there

It was a last minute decision to spend the night in Kingsville instead of driving home. Definitely worth the $50 per night. The bathroom was filthy (I've seen cleaner toilets in gas stations). There were hairs in the shower. We only had 1 clean towel because the other one was dirty and on the floor in the corner. The trash wasn't taken out - had used bandaids in it. We ran out of toilet paper. There were sticky stains on the carpet. And this was the 2nd room they put us in!!! If my husband wasn't with me - I would have left in 2 seconds or less.

I don’t write reviews, but this Inn was so bad that I had to. The room smelled of smoke, there where holes in the wall, the shower was “hit of miss” on being warm or cold (not hot ever), there were bugs in the light fixtures and there wasn’t a breakfast to speak of. Guests drank outside my room and spoke loudly until 1:00 or 2:00 AM which meant my never getting a good night sleep and when I tried to call the front office the phone line was dead. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else, anywhere else, but not here!!!
