It was a good place, staff was really nice... breakfast wasn't really breakfast... not my favorite but decent place to stay and easy to find.
Jennifer
We have stayed here previously and loved the staff! They are so kind and welcoming it is a pleasure to have them there.
Darcy
Room was clean, deadbolt on door would not engage, plate missing on door jam so security issue. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was ok but at the latter end of the time frame, supply was limited
Richard

Jose
Great place to stay! Owners are Great people
Gail
Overall the stay was amazing! Staff was friendly, room was huge and clean. The breakfast in morning was a bit disappointing.
Michele
The staff was wonderful, polite and helpful. The property is in need of some updates and painting. The owners did say that it would have been a lot cheaper if we would have booked through them, as they offer a local rate.
Jeff
Hotel worked out for us, only needed a clean place to stay for the night.
Lawrence
Most accommodating staff I have seen in a long while. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite sufficient. While the new owners are in the process of refurbishing, still offers value and it’s future looks bright
Kirsten
We had a wonderful stay and were very appreciative of JJ and the entire staff. They were great to work with from start to finish and were helpful with both the hotel details and information about the area.
We were traveling with players, and the staff worked with us on a late checkout for a few of our rooms so players could shower before traveling back. That flexibility made a big difference for our group. We were also able to use the breakfast area for a couple of short team meetings, which was incredibly helpful.
The location was also a plus. We loved having restaurants right next door, including a Mexican restaurant and a bar and grill, which made meals easy for our group.
Overall, this was a great experience. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Nice property with great location. The owner and staff were excellent. Nice large room with comfy bed. Great breakfast selection and very good coffee. Bar and grill next door in the same parking lot. Very quiet with elevator to second floor. Nice for older people.
Mary
Staff went above and beyond to explain the tv to me since I'm not a cable tv user.
Travis
Staff were great. 100% recommend. Bed comfy, ac worked great.
Teresa
Breakfast was good lots of choices
Air conditioning was a little noisy but that kind usually is.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Upon entering, you are greeted by a lobby that has a fireplace, living room furniture and a friendly staff member who helps you settle in and gives you advice regarding local restaurants and how to use the TV remote in each room. The breakfast is fantastic with sausage and egg biscuits, donuts, cereal, yogurt and the best coffee (a local brand called Ember) I have ever tasted. The best part of staying here, in addition to the things I have mentioned, is it will not break the bank. I stayed here two nights and each of my rooms were very clean.

Jodi
The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful!! Whenever we are in the area we will be staying there😊
The room was perfect and had all we needed and more. If I have to say a negative, the only thing is the carpet has some stains, but how are you to avoid that?!! We loved this hotel!!

The name America's Best seemed like an advertising gimmick, but this truly was the best experience we've had in recent memory! Wonderful family run business.
Samantha
The staff at the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. They kept the breakfast bar open past closing to accommodate our schedules, went out of the way to locate a tool I need to repair a personal item, and quickly provided extra towels upon request.
Penny
It was great. Affordable, clean, and I booked a future stay!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean. Breakfast choices are limited but fresh. If you are looking for fancy rooms and a large breakfast this hotel would not be for you. If you are looking for a clean, simple, no frills but affordable stay this is a perfect place for you.
Zachary

I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton, so I went in with low expectations. All I needed was a bed and a bathroom for the night, and the hotel provided that. The staff were great! Super nice. I forgot my phone charger and the guy behind the counter provided me one to borrow for the night. The room was clean and did the job. The only bad part was the bed. It was horribly uncomfortable. It was pretty worn down and I could feel the springs and the bar in the center. Because I didn't sleep well, I laid awake listening the person snoring through the wall in the room next to me.
Terry
Everything was great. Could have used a lamp on nightstand next to bed. Had to turn off light net to door and move to bed in the dark. Picky I know, but I am old.
Thank you see you next time

Wonderful family owned and operated....they treat their customers very special! The room had everything needed, and we even got upgraded to a hot-tub room!
Lorenzo
Thank you guys for the room. It was really nice clean and big. I really wanted to use the hot tub. Just didn't know how to work out. And didn't want to mess up the floor with an over fill or the key thruster thingy. Once again thank you very much
Jon
Friendly, clean, and bed was comfortable. Minor stuff about room: no Kleenex, no backup roll of TP, only 1 washcloth. Would stay again.

Alan
Friendly staff, clean and spacious room.

The AC was quiet and the room was perfectly clean. I ended up leaving a jacket there, and the friendly staff kindly packed it up and sent it back to me, which I appreciated.
The breakfast was a bit on the lean side, but enough to get us going in the morning. Thank you!

Stayed here while visiting a friend. The family running it was so sweet. The rooms were clean, quiet. The only issue i had was the pillows were smaller (the full size instead of King or Queen size), but i am a pillow snob and usually bring my own for overnight and forgot.
Washell
Really enjoyed our stay and they had a great staff! Family ran by a beautiful family.
Ryan

Kristi
Very happy with stay.
Cathy
Staff was wonderful! Rooms were clean but could use some repairs. Rear exterior door did not lock. There appeared to be some long term residents staying at the hotel. All in all good value for money and most importantly the room was clean! Loved the snack bar area in the room.

Despite the property name that sounds vaguely like a chain hotel, I found out later that this a family business and I am so glad to have stayed here for that reason alone. The owners are a delightful couple who are attentive to their guests and work very hard for the success of their business. I made a reservation online at the last minute so when I arrived only a short time later, they didn't have the room linens ready for me. To allow me to check in immediately, they offered me a different room and I very much appreciated it. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. I was only in the area for two nights, and this hotel was the perfect home base for my activities. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast here due to my schedule, but I got a cup of their brewed coffee from Ember Coffee Co. each morning. I had great conversations with the owners (and other staff members as well) who helped me learn about the area and make plans to visit the wildlife refuge that's just north of Big Lake. These personal interactions are what make this hotel so special.
Mary
Really nice front desk staff. Unusual to feel at home in a hotel but they made it happen. Comfy beds, clean rooms, great breakfast given the small breakfast area. Didnt have the tv ton cnn or fox! THANKYOU! Had WCCO, a local happy news station on. Nice change!
Judy
The facility was nice and clean with a friendly and helpful staff.
Only down fall was my room was on the main level next to a restaurant parking lot. So plenty of traffic and noisy vehicles.

Staff was amazing both prior to arriving and upon arrival. Room was fine there was just a strong odor that was a mix between musty and cleaning supplies. I have bad allergies so it was overwhelming for me but it was a decent place to stay overall I’d stay again. Staff again was amazing.
Paolo
The owners were amazing and they were more than accommodating. I will only stay here when visiting the area
Fredrick
Unexpectedly very nice
Are they trying to be a hampton? Very nice

Amazing Staff
Don’t let the outside fool you! The outside definitely needs help and I hate saying that but I was a little worried when we pulled up. The inside is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Everyone at this hotel was amazing and the rooms were large and clean.
Jessica
Friendly staff, comfortable beds, decent breakfast. No complaints.
Jeremy
Awesome staff, friendly as can be! Very attentive to any need we had. Always welcomed us with a friendly smile and interested in the event we were there for. Highly recommended this place to stay.
Alisha
The staff were SO incredibly kind and helpful. This is clearly a family owned business, so they care deeply about their guests. They were helpful, kind, and very friendly/social!
I think many people would enjoy staying here, it just was not for me. I have a very high expectation of cleanliness (it’s a flaw of mine, even at home), and while the room was clean, a few things just need updating —like the carpets.
The lock on the back door also did not lock, so that made me a little weary.
