The complex is located in the village of Episkopos/Nikiana, around 150 m away from Episkopos pebbly beach. The harbour lies around 1 km away and the capital is around 7 km from the hotel.
The well-known spa resort of Nidri is only around 8 km away and the nearest airport, Aktio/Preveza, is approximately 26 km away. The complex is surrounded by olive trees and a wonderful, flowering garden as well as spread across two buildings.
In the two-storey main building, guests will find a reception, a lounge with a terrace and a TV corner. The apartments are located in the other buildings.
There are a total of 15 studios and 6 two room apartments. Parking is available for those arriving by car.
All the studios and apartments include a private shower/toilet, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV with multi-language channels, a hire safe, a fully fitted kitchen, a fridge/oven, kitchen utensils, a dining corner and a balcony or a terrace overlooking the garden, the sea or the mountains. The air conditioning is individually adjustable.
After crossing the bridge that connects Lefkada Island with the mainland, turn to the left. After about 2 km is the small port of Lefkada.
After crossing the small stone bridge at the entrance of the harbour, turn left. Continue driving along the harbour following the signs for Nydri or Vasiliki.
After 7 km is the Episkopos/ Nikiana area. The hotel is located on the right-hand side just 100 metres after the sign indicating Nikiana village.

Great location literally 5 minutes from the Acropolis metro station and the entrance to both the Acropolis and the acropolis museum (don’t skip the museum it’s very informative). There are loads of bars and restaurants also within 5 minutes and old Athens is on your door step. Hotel quiet though in a great area.

Great location just 5 minutes from metro, Acropolis museum and entrance to the Acropolis too. Clean and comfortable the beds for Greece were sooo comfortable. Breakfast choice OK staff very good only downsides were lift very slow and only news for English TV channels. We will definitely stay here again.

We were four minutes away from the Acropolis Museum and also a quick walk to the main entrance of the Acropolis. It was a comfortable walk to the other popular areas to shop and dine. We arrived a few hours early and was allowed to check in as our room was ready. We have stayed here before and know the area well. The room was clean and had a very large balcony to sit and relax. Because we requested a balcony we were given a smaller room than before so we had a hard time with our luggage. Lucky for us we spent little time in the room. The bedding was nice and comfortable. The breakfast is ok, could use more variety. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The area is within a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis and Palaka where there’s plenty of cafes and shopping. All in all I highly recommend the Philippos hotel.

This is your basic kind of hotel. The rooms are extremely small and the restrooms even smaller. The showers aren’t even big enough for one person. Our restroom has a potent sewage smell the 2 nights we were there. One positive was the comfort of the bed and the pillows. Having to overcome the musty, sewage smell, I did sleep very comfortably. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. Acropolis Museum and other attractions are within walking distance. Laundromat also very close. Overall, it was an alright experience. Nothing terrible about it, just a little older anda lot smaller than some others in the area.

Thank you so much to the staff for the birthday gifts and balloons for my son. We had travelled to Athens for his birthday and I left a request if possible some balloons or a banner for our arrival. They went beyond, left him a lovely message, lots of balloons, a lovely desert with a candle.

Great and safe location, across the acropolis museum hop on hop off station. 15-20 minuted walking distance to all the great sites, just few minutes walk to acropolis metro station great food options nearby , can see the acropolis from the hotel, we enjoyed the FREE breakfast. The staff was terrific (Dimitri deserves special mention) but every staff seems committed to excellent customer service. We would gladly stay here again next time we visit Greece
