The Prima Residence is adequate for short stay travel. We needed a hotel close to the airport for one night and it did just that. You can find food in the area but it’s street food if you dare eat it. We did and it was tasty and cheap.

It’s an ok place, close to the airport. Their shuttle only runs till 9:30 AM so not helpful for afternoon flights. It’s an old place but looked clean enough. OK if you need to spend one night close to the airport. Grab driver had hard time finding it. Surrounding area definitely feels third world.

The staff was friendly, the room was ok, but the bathroom was not up to par. Once you start showering, the water sprays all over the toilet paper. And you'd have to be skinny to scrub abd turn around to do your thing in that small shower. Just bad design.. Breakfast was very Thai and was good. A 2-star and not more.

The rooms themselves were spacious and seemed in good condition, but what made this hotel suck was the bugs. When we first went into our room, there was an enormous cockroach that scuttled across the room. The staff killed it with Raid and a towel, but not before it left a dirty pile of droppings on our bedsheets.

This might have been fine, but there were also mosquitoes in our room. I killed 6 mosquitoes and got at least 3 bites while sleeping there.

Very hard to get a good night’s sleep.

Overall the propery is ok. It serves the purpose. I needed to catch a flight at 625am. The best part is that it is clean, safe, comfortable, and they made sure i got to the airport via a shuttle.

Expedia owes us an explanation:

As Gold members we chose this property based on the ranking and star rating as well as the location. It was ranked a 3 star by Expedia and given an 8.6 rating. Even the pictures looked nice for something close to the airport.

Reality was very different. It was understaffed and run down. The non smoking room reeked of smoke and I would give it only one star. With a price difference of only $20 Can per night under a beachfront Koh Chang resort I am questioning my use and trust in Expedia on this one.

The hotel served its purpose for us as it was well priced and very close to the Don Maung international Airport. Hotel dinning was almost non existent and had to walk a way to find a meal. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed here one night because we had a flight to Chiang Mai the next morning. Loved that our room was separate 2 Bed/2 Baths, since we were staying with friends. Everything was clean. Customer service was great. The beds were not comfortable. Overall, not a bad stay!

This hotel room was full of mosquitoes as well as well as bugs crawling on the wall and bed.
Really only stay here if you absolutely have to.
We cancelled our stay and went to the 12 The Residences down the road was amazing.

We needed a hotel close to the airport so we booked this one. We get there late at night and are taken to our room, once getting in we see a cockroach the size of a fist under the sink. We tell the concierge and he doesn’t seem surprised at all and he finally gave us a new room. The new room had stains on the bed sheet, and the bed was hard as a rock. After sleeping on it I could barely walk the next morning from the pain in my back. Not worth it, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The location wise was okay, the staff (the guy at the receptionist) was not very helpful and couldnt provide information and solution, the room had not cleaned for the entire time due to lack of staffs on duty and when i asked for help He was not prompt and apologise. We will not go back again.

We arrived at DMK around 1:00 and needed a place nearby to crash for the night. This one did the job. It was clean and modern. Nothing special, but perfectly ok. It's a bit off the beaten path so make sure up front that your taxi driver knows where he is going.

Room was comfy after a hot day out in bangkok. Free airport shuttle which took only 15 mins to reach Don Mueng airport. Cozy pantry near the lobby for complimentary water, coffee, tea and toast which is nice. Staffs are very helpful and always smiling. Rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and very up to date. Overall a really nice place for a good rest and would be back again soon.

It was super convenient to the DMK airport. The staff was lovely. Was not ready for the bathroom to be such bare-bones. The floor was wet when I got there. They spray off their booty to get clean instead of wiping with toilet paper and I did not know that. The outside lanai was also strange and I woke up to chickens and roosters. It was fine however and a bit like a Motel 6.

Super friendly way station for between flights. The room is small, but functional, and well laid out. It’s a half hour in a cab if the traffic is bad, 20 minutes at 4am.

Given the out of the way location, get the airport taxi desk to write the address in thai. A printed out map would be a good idea too. Def book your shuttle back to the airport upon check in because the van does fill up fast. Oddly, they don’t do wake up calls.

There’s some decent street food out in front and a 7/11 across a busy road out back, so think about arriving unhungry if you want something more like a restaurant.

Given the value for the price and the cheery service, I would happily stay there again.

Distance to the hotel was optimal for an overnight stay with early flight. It is not close to downtown if that's what you need, but it is a beautiful and spacious option at a great price. The staff is helpful and friendly. Complimentary breakfast and shuttle are available. Would stay here again if passing through Bangkok for a night or two.
