The front desk attendant just goes through the motions. He did not get up to let us in the front door, we had to wait for another guest to arrive and let us in. AC is great, beds are nice, showers are average. Super close to the airport.

it’s actually a lovely place but the night we stayed there was a lot of noise in the room through the window, and not to mention an airplane late as it’s close to the airport… we had to have a 6 AM flight so it wasn’t a great sleep.. but if you can move through that and noise doesn’t bother you, it’s a great place

My stay was very pleasant. The property is conveniently located within walking distance of the mall, supermarkets, and the island. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was enjoyable. It’s a lovely, cozy place overall.
Because it is close to the street, there is some traffic noise, but it did not significantly affect my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering great assistance with booking tours and recommending evening activities.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable stay.

The staff were really polite and helpful, and the place was clean and comfy. The tv remote didn't work to turn on the tv however, and there was no toilet paper when we first checked in, but front desk helped us to acquire some. The shower also didn't drain at first, and my husband had to unclog it. Our soap was also missing the second day after the cleaning of the room. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and the staff were very polite, helpful, and friendly. I would still consider staying there again.

Room was super clean, bed was comfy. Housekeeping was done daily. The housemaid even arranged my PJs on the bed as I left them on the floor which was a nice touch. Staff was really accomodating, although at night there is only one guy at the front desk. Pool was nice, it was not heated, but refreshing nonetheless. Furniture around the property are showing their age, specially in the pool and in my room at least. Rooms are air conditioned, which is nice given the heat of the area. There is a supermarket a block away with all the usual necessities. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was okay, although they open late (7am) and prices are on the pricey side for what it is (60 quetzales + tip per person). Overall I would stay again if the price is right.

L'hotel est beau et situé en dehors de l'ile et pas trop loin. J'ai même marché de l'ile a l'hotel en 15 min en prenant mon temps. C'est dans un endroit tres securitaire.
Cependant, il faut investir un peu plus dans le materiel. Ma premiere chambre avait l'air climatisée qui ne fonctionnait pas, ainsi que le coffre de sécurité. Le personnel a ete gentil et m'a fait changé de chambre pour une autre avec un air climatisé fonctionnel. Pour le coffre de securite il ne fonctionnait pas bien au debut mais ils l'int réparé. Aussi, je trouve que l'endroit est vraiment beau, il a besoin d'un peu plus d'amour. Et les gars a la reception de meme que les dames qui y travaillent sont d'une gentillesse extreme.

Pictures don’t do this place justice! The courtyard area is stunning and the pool is very clean with some shaded spots to avoid direct sun exposure. There is free drinking water provided also. The beds in the rooms are incredibly luxurious and comfortable - the best we’ve had on our trip in Guatemala so far. Bathroom is very clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in answering questions. La Isla de Flores is only a 15 min walk away - and the hotel is a 3-5 min drive from the airport via tuk tuk (about 10-15 qtz per person). Cannot recommend this place enough!

We had an overall excellent stay at Hotel del Patio. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were top-notch. However, we encountered some challenges with early check-in. Since we traveled for a medical procedure, having early access to the room for the patient to rest would have been ideal. While we understand policies can vary, greater flexibility in this area would significantly enhance the experience for guests in similar circumstances. Despite this, our stay was pleasant, and we would gladly return.

There was no hot water when showering, I dont think that's too much to ask for. Not sure whats going on with the infrastructure in central and south america but it is 2024! Also, the cleaning lady stole my shampoo, sounds petty, but it was actually really annoying! I guess ill have to put that in the safe as well next time.

Rooms dark and badly lit, bathrooms have only a tiny window.. The female manager is superb but the rest of the team are not aware of what a hotel should be. Drunk guest smoking by pool on phone very loudly with 8 beer cans and when I complained (no smoking signs everywhere) they just kept bringing him beer. They are kind and willing but definitely not a professional team.

Breakfast isn’t great, you have to order your meal the night before. Pool is lovely, it is the only redeeming feature.

Overall not a recommend.

Very quiet and peaceful, a five minute walk from the island of Flores - TI really appreciated how quiet it was.he hotels on the island of Flores can be noisy and a bit smelly because of backed up water, whereas this hotel is just on the mainland, but very close to the road to Flores. They have a very secure parking lot about 100 m away and there are a number of restaurants nearby. The hotel has an indoor pool and a large central garden patio. I really appreciated how quiet it was.

Great place to stay with big patio. Well kept. Traditional, rustic, clean property, clean rooms, clean pool. Lovely balconies with hammocks and seating area. Family place. Great location. Walking distance to stores, grocery store, mall, Flores island, bus terminal, the main road to the highway. Great price. Great place for hosting events. Easy to get to and catch taxies or tuk tuks.

Everything was very good, the bed is marvelous, by far the best and comfiest bed…the only bad thing is that I checked the box where it said “Breakfast included” and made sure I was choosing a location that had that option, and when I got there and on a chat conversation with the property, they said they “didn’t” see I chose that option, plus, the cook didn’t work on Saturdays, I ended up without any options and didn’t eat breakfast. It’s not ok to sell something if the property doesn’t have it or isn’t even capable of doing something.

When looking for this property, it clearly states “breakfast included”, but it clearly isn’t.

The hotel was very good. Just perfect for a convenient stay. Don't expect much in regards to luxury, but it will be a great place to use as a basecamp as you explore Petén. I actually liked it way more than the hotel my friends were staying in Flores, which was more pricey yet felt older. If you have a car you can go to Flores in less than 4 minutes, and it's 15min walking. Moreover, I could peacefully sleep here no loud clubs around.

From the outside appearance it does not look like much. Once you enter the gate the patio and garden are beautiful. The place is quiet. It had a good air conditioner.
The bathroom was clean and nice. There was no Resturant or food on the site. Flores is a 10 minute walk. I walked to Flores to eat and back to the hotel at 9 pm after dark. I would stay there again. Internet was also good.
