My family and I were staying overnight to set sail on a cruise. I booked through Expedia and saved a good bit of money. When I called to inquire about the cost of the cruise shuttle/ long term parking while we were cruising, I was told by a very rude employee that because I did not book through the hotel directly and did not purchase the “parking/shuttle package” I would not be permitted to park there while cruising OR take the shuttle to the port. I was told, again in a very rude, snotty attitude, that the ONLY way I could receive those amenities was to cancel my booking and rebook with the hotel directly, which would increase my total price by $123 and THEN I would be permitted to park and go on the shuttle to the cruise port for an ADDITIONAL $24/person in my party. Not only is that ridiculous but she was SO rude and the hotel was in great need of maintenance. There were too many things that needed attention to even mention in this review. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they didn’t have other options.

Also when we spilled water and wiped it up with a white towel it turned black also. But like I said it did look cleaned and bathroom around tub area looks like it very old.

Have no clue what the Resort Fee was for. NO elevators! No secure parking. No room service available. Was more Motel than Hotel (WITH RESORT FEES). Was fine for a one night stay but would not book again especially if planning on a multiple night stay.

The room was old, the furniture was old, the bed linen and towels were snow-white and in good condition, the air conditioner was working, but it wasn't cooling at all, there was a stove in the room and if you cook something, the temperature in the room rises and everything gets wet, the hood over the stove can't cope and the air conditioner too, we slept all wet from the heat. In general, the hotel is cozy, small, there are two swimming pools, a hut tub with barbecue facilities, conveniently located next to the sea, but I did not like the beach and a huge amount of algae in the sea and on the shore.

Everyone was very friendly here--both staff and guests. The free breakfast was very good--typical (eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, milk, juice, coffee, etc). The rooftop bar was large with a pool table, karaoke, and an outdoor patio. The grounds were well maintained. The pool was clean and refreshing. The rooms were clean. The water pressure in the shower was great. Quick 5 minute walk to the beach. Publix supermarket, as well as lots of restaurants/bars within 10-15 minute walk. Locals were very friendly. Nice souvenir shop right next door. The refrigerator kept our leftover food cold. We went for a weekend getaway but met many people who were returning guests staying there to go on cruises. Would definitely stay there again!

Front desk clerk upon arrival was great and very helpful. Once in route to the room, drips from the ac was all over walkway, the smell of cigarettes was strong, the room needs major upgrades.. the floor seem as if it wasn’t leveled, we tripped twice, the bathroom is extremely little and overall the room gave me a yucky feeling but it was clean. Motel is in a very convenient location for cruise ports, food and other stores.

I would not stay again and I would not recommend

Room doors and picture window were to outside so did not feel safe as a solo traveler. Walls are thin so between noisy neighbors, road noise, birds in am, and loud fan of air conditioner, it was difficult to sleep. Cruiseport shuttle is not complimentary as I was led to believe. JT restaurant was so-so; just limited bar food. Room was clean and bed comfortable though.

We loved the host at the front desk at check in. Our air unit did not work when we checked in and she moved us right away. The hotel is much more outdated than the pictures show. The rooms had a musty smell to them and the tubs were stained. For a very quick overnight stay it wouldn't be terrible but I wouldn't do much more than that for the price you pay.

The property was beautiful, and the amenities were really nice. The pool area is spacious to accommodate a large number of people without feeling crowded. I enjoyed the cleanliness of our room. The bathroom was a bit tight. The door rubbed against the toilet every time it was opened or closed. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

I was not happy with my room at all. I booked for 5 people and they only have two beds. The bathroom is small and the tub is dirty. The floor is bubbling up, feel like you're walking on an air bubbles. There's hair on the desk, there's multiple stains or pillow sheets, and one of the beds that showed up on my black light. This is a damn motel. I don't do motels. Your company lied. These are not the pictures I saw when I booked. what happened to the sofa bed if you're accommodating more than four people?How the hell are you gonna renovate a motel to a hotel, but still have it as a motel. These rooms should be $50 a night, definitely not worth what I spent. and the nerve of them to charge a resort fee!!! I literally have to leave out of the lobby go around back, walk up the stairs just to get to my room... MOTEL. The breakfast, one look I knew I didn't want it. Since when do people serve white pork links. The water taste nasty. The lady who checked us in was very rude to the previous people who checked in.

I do like how y'all offer the shutter to the terminal. The black lady with the short hair was extremely pleasant and helpful. I'm sorry I didn't get her name.

There was onlt a small stream of water at bathroom sink, low pressure. Shower had a very strong smell of mold. Assigned Ada room with out being told. So surprised to find the shower would spray the whole bathroom floor.
At checkout mentioned bad smell they asked if we reported it. No because 1. We were exhausted and changing rooms would have been too much and 2. It was clear the hotel was completely full, and3. As a converted motel we just figured that was normal. Almost all the floor tiles were warped and curved up.
Breakfast was ok but no hot water for oatmeal and waffle maker broken.
Absolutely not your basic La Quinta experience.

Bait and switch with an attitude…

This was a terrible experience and I can’t recommend this place at all. The poor experience started before I was even fully checked in. They tried to charge me more than double the “resort fees”. I even showed them the email from them that stated the fee amount and they told me to forward the email so they could address. After 3 days of them attempting to charge my card (which I told them I was locking until this was resolved) I went back to the desk where I was told it was adjusted… so I unlocked my card so it could be processed. Surprise… they charged the incorrect amount. Went back to the desk several times to address and only got attitude.

As for the rest of the stay here is what I have to say:

Room: Not maintained but it was fine. Did the job.

Amenities: None of the vending machines take cards and I couldn’t get them to take cash either so those were useless. Bar on site wasn’t bad.

Breakfast: Skip it. Sausage that was so white. Runny scrambled eggs (like they were cooked in water). Watered down coffee and juice. The only good thing were the waffles and the last day both waffle makers were broken so the kids were super disappointed.

Pool: Not the cleanest but it was the only decent part of the stay.

Overall verdict… I am a regular in the area because I visit family but I absolutely will not stay here again. With the amount of competition you’d think they would want to do better.

The location is a bit further from the cruise and Kennedy Space Center for my personal liking. The breakfast is minimal but satisfactory because of the waffle maker. The grounds are maintained pretty well but the bathroom and other finishes could use some sprucing up. The worst part is no elevators.

The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was average and not the most comfortable. The shower was very small but plenty of hot water. My biggest problem was lack of service to clean the room and remove garbage over 4 days. They never came and I only received a new set of towels and toilet paper after calentar towels on the last day. The sofa machines around the property are mostly old, broken, or empty. The pool was nice and heated. Clean and a nice size. Not a bad hotel, I would stay there again, they just need to stay scheduled cleaning of the rooms at least every two days. Plenty of parking also and close to activities.
