Great place for family vacation with small kids

Great place for kids. lots of activities, and the entertainment team kept everybody busy.
The pool area is great!
Rooms are equipped and pleasant.
Our room had no TV and also Wifi is available only in the public areas (Reception, Pool, Restaurant etc.), for us it was good, and kids were swimming, playing soccer and just with each other - like old times :-)

Relaxed Family Park

Excellent small park. Child friendly pool allowing adults to relax or join in. Deeper pool also available. Superb little restaurant on site, reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful and the entertainment team, which was not part of our reason for visiting, were infectious with their enthusiasm but not intrusive. We booked transfers to and from the airport with the park via email which was easy, and also coach transfers into Rome on two days which worked well. Accommodation was simple, clean and adequate (booked via Expedia) Highly recommended for a relaxed family holiday.

We were in a bungalow for two. It's an essential accommodation with no kitchen but clean and with air conditioning. The village offers an half board with a really good price and the restaurant is quite good. Maybe change more often the menu for the HB will be appreciated from customers.
The service and the staff were awesome! It's a village for family and the animation is just for them but anyway we had a great time!

Really uncomfortable,dirty and cold!!full of spiders in our bedrooms ,dirty fridge, cold water, no light bulb in the bedroom and. Dirty cupboard and wardrobes. Not recommended.

a nice family place

I spent time from 03/09 - 11/09 2014 and I could feel that was the end of the season. The place is ideal for families with small children, great swimming pool and entertainment for kids but not much for adults. the chalet was very nice and clean and in the shade. beware lots of mosquitoes The shop at the site was appalling, almost empty, even if it was September and lots of people staying, they weren't bother to restock, not even bread, milk and eggs. Luckily there was a free shuttle bus from the camp to the village and there was very cheap MD shop within 10 minutes walk. On the web page it says every half and hour but it was only few hours in the morning and evening, so I had to plan when to go to the town even just to buy the milk. I think during the season all these services are better.
The shuttle bus to Rome was excellent, worth money as using public transport is a nightmare. Don't rely on the time table, the buses arrive whenever it suits the driver. I arrived late, didn't have a clue where to get off, the bus driver was very rude but people on the bus and in the town very friendly and helpful.
The place was nice as I wanted to combine being by the pool and a visit to Rome in one week holiday, it was little bit further from Rome that I thought in the first place but in overall I had a very relaxing holiday and enjoyed my stay there. The staff in the camp were so friendly and helpful with everything, they made my stay enjoyable.

Great pool for kids.helpful staff .

Good for kids plenty for them to do.staff v.friendly and good location. .close to rome centre but it wasnt the most clean or comfortable places to stay. .the shop on site was poorly stocked and v. Over priced.the restaurant food was not great and also expensive. ..but overall it was enjoyable and appealing for smaller kids..

Good place to stay with younger children.

We stayed for 12 days, with two teenage girls, we enjoyed the experience, it wouldn't be a place for teens who wanted to go clubbing as is quite remote. We went on the trips to Pompeii and Rome by night and took the shuttle into Rome twice. We didn't have a car, we found it difficult to get to other places without one, so hired one in the end. It sounded a good deal but there was only a 200 kilometre per day limit which isn't much.
The entertainment staff work very hard and the receptionists are very helpful. A friendly place to stay with entertainment provided. The shop on the site was ok. There is a free bus to the local town that runs a few times per day for a bigger shop or a change of scenery.

Good entertainment for the kids and games for adults too. Excellent lagoon pool and slide. Second pool suitable for 8 years who can stand up with their head above water. Adults can swim in this pool. Third small shallow kiddies pool. The direct bus to Rome was handy but could have left earlier in the morning.

nice loots of atractions , mu child loved the swimming pool and fun with camping crew every evning children had party and play some games with the crew really nice ,resturant was nice and cheap ,internet not possible only in restourant .really nice place just one thing in my mobile home had to clean it my self before going in as the ware nets and small spiders and dust like there ware no one in for some time other then that greet , just what i was expecting from camping

Family Vacation to Italy

The cabin was very cute and nicely outfitted. However, towels were only provided once and we were told that we had to pay if we wanted fresh towels. We reused our towels for 4 days then had to pay to wash them, which was very expensive. Someone opened our dryer while it was in use so we had to hang them. We had no towels the next day because of this. The cabin was never cleaned by staff, but we had a broom and mop. If you are looking for a hotel, this is not for you. Also, the shuttle to Rome is not guaranteed. When we arrived we tried to buy tickets and they said the bus was full. Fortunately, there were enough people who wanted the shuttle so another bus was provided. You can not count on this however, as there is a 13 person minimum for the bus. It is one hour to Rome and the bus is very old and questionable. The driver was excellent, though, which made us feel better. The pool water was a bit sticky and probably should have been checked for chemical conditions more often (we have our own pool at home so we are very aware of this). The animators were wonderful and they really made our stay enjoyable, especially Stefano and Gaetano. They were fun and full of energy. The restaurant had nice choices but the prices were high for the portion sizes and quality of food. We would come back to I Pini with the knowledge we gained this first trip. Bring your own food, grill, towels and toilet paper.

cheap but far away from Rome

If your main destination is in Rome, you need to think twice before booking the hotel. It is absolutely value for money, however, you need to consider other issues. From Rome Central Station, you need to spend 15 mins for metro + 40 mins for train + 13 mins for hotel shuttle bus before u can reach the hotel, adding to the half an hour waiting time. Or, you can spend 10 mins for metro + 40 mins public bus + 5 mins for hotel shuttle. Do make sure which stop you need to get off, as it is not an easy job. If you want to reach Rome early in the morning or late in the evening, you need to pay 10 euros for shuttle bus to reach the public transport. The hotel itself is really cheap I have to say.

Great campsite for a family ; lots to see and do

This campsite is very child friendly and in a lovely rural location about an hours drive from Fiuncimo airport. It has a super childrens pool for under 10s and the play leaders were excellent. The campsite restaurant is very good and great value. The Giotto cabin was comfortable. You can get the bus organised by the site into Rome and they run a shuttle bus into the village of Fiano Romano. We hired a car and drove to the ruins at Ostia (55mins) and the mediaeval town Calcata (30mins).

very good option for the price

we stayed in a small caravan-like shelter (bungalow). it had a bed, a fridge and a WC with hot water. it was great for us (a couple). the weather was wet so we did not use the pool. the wifi was not great (like in much of Italy). the price was right. the shuttle to Roma is the way to go. easy but takes time. all in all we were very happy to have stayed here and not had to drive into and around Roma. Restaurant and market were good. staff is great.

its a camping ground in the woods about 1 hour from Rome center by their shuttle bus (8 euros return trip), pleasant location but don't expect much, its a budget option, but very nice for families or small groups traveling in italy and wanting few days to rest from the cities and museums and excavations/ruins of the old :)

Best place to stay near Rome

This was the first time we had ever stayed in a camp area. We could not have had a better experience. I Pini is a place we will never forget. We can not thank Roberta, Judy and all the staff for the awesome time. We were only going to stay three nights but after being there we decided to stay eight nights. The staff were so wonderful. After the first night we mentioned that my husband had a hard time sleeping because of the mattress. We thought they might put a mattress pad on the mattress. What they did was bring him a brand new mattress. He slept like a baby after that. It was very inexpensive and worth every dime. The restaurant there served some of the best Italian food we had in Italy. Very reasonably priced. Our children are grown and gone but we so enjoyed the entertainment the kids did. We felt like we were in a family place. They made us feel like part of the family. We left with new friends. We can not thank them enough for making our vacation the best we have had in Europe.

Great place for a family with young children

The pool, and the lagoon plus the childrens entertainers really made our stay at I Pini very enjoyable and relaxing. The kids played in the water all day - they loved the acqua gym sessions - and I got to lie in the shade reading - result. Getting into Rome was very easy - 8 euros each on the coach the campsite operates for a round trip. We went on the Rome by night trip too which was a wonderful way to end our stay.
The staff are very helpful, and the mobile home was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

I Pini is good for those travelling on a budget. For fisrt time visitors to Italy, it give the opportunity to see both Rome and the country side. The staff is freindly, the service good. I liked it.

Ho soggiornato 3 giorni.....in una casa mobile con expedia......ed è una struttura con quasi tutti i confort........l unico confort che manca è la tv.
Per l organizzazione del campeggio nella media,reception gentile e cortese.
Le case mobili vecchie vanno ristrutturate.
Le caldaie sono all interno della casa e si si vedono.e i condizionatori raffreddano poco.
Il bar chiude alle 23.e l animazione finisce alle 23.
Io farei prolungare gli orari almeno della chiusura del bar.
Alle 22e30 nn puoi piu prendere il gelato artigianale perché alle 23 devono chiudere.
Nel complesso un campeggio nella media.
Un punteggio in più,per il fatto che nn devi portarti lenzuola e asciugamani per il bagno.....

Superior bungalow:
Poor cleaning. Filthy dishes etc. Overall the condition of the bungalow was okay.
List:
+ pretty modern
- Extremely noisy neighbours (we could basically feel Them walking)
- bungalow area was Grey and boring other than the trees
- Hu staff did nothing about complaints

Pool list:
+ material used for the pool is some kind of latex/plastic. Was really good
- people smoking every where. Disgusting. Again lack of rules enforced by the hu staff.

Other:
Restaurant was pretty decent. Especially their pizza. Their take-away menu is way too small and the fried pollo was some of the worst food i have ever had.

The restaurants food was good, but long wait. The guides or Hu I staff for the kids were wonderful, good entertainment.
We recommends you have a car, otherwise it will be difficult to get around, as the shuttlebuss is limited.
Most people don’t speak English, so have translater opportunities.

Non mi è piaciuta la scarsa attenzione alla sicurezza : non è presente uno staff attrezzato per il primo soccorso, alcuni punti dello scivolo grande non sono messi in sicurezza perché sono spigolosi e i bambini rischiano di scivolare e farsi molto male. Inoltre le zanzariere e le griglie delle casette sono rotte e le abitazioni sono piene di nidi di api e vespe (nella mia ne erano presenti 3)!! Bisognerebbe curare di più tutto ciò!!!!!!

Pini Park fully lived up to our expectations. Sweet, friendly and helpful staff. Surprisingly low price: good rooms, with good and comfortable beds, while the cleaning was top notch. The location was absolutely perfect, quiet and peaceful in the evening, which contributed to a good night's sleep. Perfect place to children and youngsters: 2 swimming pools, football pitch, and other sports facilities, We would definitely recommend Pini Park - We will definitely visit Pini Park again.

Ottimo per chi vuole vivere in tranquillità

Ho trascorso una settimana con la mia famiglia, pultroppo la sua posizione non è ottimale per chi vuole visitare Roma, i bungalow sono un po' stretti e soprattutto manca la tv, un punto a favore va alle piscine che sono eccezionali, quindi penso che vada bene a chi cerca un posto molto tranquillo immerso nel verde.

Frequento questo posto da 5 anni e mi trovo benissimo, è un paradiso per i bambini e per noi genitori.
Mi permetto solo di dare un consiglio, che non vuole essere una critica vera e propria....in piscina bisognerebbe \"sensibilizzare\" gli adulti a non comportarsi da bambini, più volte mi è capitato di dover richiamare i miei figli perchè lo scivolo era occupato da persone adulte che si comportavano in modo inopportuno e pericoloso.
Il personale dello Staff dovrebbe intervenire in tal senso ma non lo fa.
Per il resto tutto perfetto.

Topvakantie gehad!

Heel rustige camping. Leuk om naar Rome te gaan, reken wel op een 3 kwartier/uurtje met de trein voor je er bent.
Huisjes in goede staat, voldoende afstand van elkaar, niet voor mensen die niet goed ter been zijn.
Ik had er geen auto, die was op zich handig geweest, maar echt gemist heb ik die niet. Desnoods kan je er daar ook één huren.
Heel goede service, busje brengt je gratis naar het centrum waar er een uitgebreide winkel is of naar het station voor een bescheiden bijdrage.
Animatie aan en rond het zwembad, heel leuk, zwembad zelf meer voor kleintjes, maar mijn 3 kids van 12, 15 en 17 hebben zich daar ook heel goed geamuseerd. Schuimparty, zwembadparty, shows, ... altijd voor iedereen wat wils en savonds is het rustig.
Aanrader, met dank aan heel het team aan de receptie, animatie, winkel, schoonmaak, ....

Ottima struttura molto bella oeganixzata benissimo dalle casette alle pisvine .servizio anche di lavanderia self ampi bagni e docce.tutto a misura di bambino. Buona l'animazione.
Solo aĺla pizzeria pccorre prenotare e il servizio é non molto veloce.andare molto x tempo.ha di bello che é davanti al palco quindi si può cenare e assistere allo spettacolo dell'animazione.

Ha capacità ma non si applica

È inaudito che una struttura del genere non abbia un bagnino (nelle piscine regina il caos, ognuno fa ciò che vuole senza regole ne per l'igiene ne per la sicurezza), non abbia una medicheria (infatti in due notti e 3 gg abbiamo assistito a 3 incidenti con la necessità di intervento di ambulanze e addirittura per una signora che è appunto caduta in piscina l intervento dell elicottero del 118). Altro grande problema sono i centri estivi, 40 bambini scalmanati e poco educati ma sopratutto poco seguito dalle animatrici. Peccato il posto potrebbe meritare ma ha davvero enormi problemi di organizzazione. Sia.k andati per 2 soggiorni per dargli una.seconda possibilità ma è stata una.gran delusione.
