The hotel is well placed in MyeongDong. It’s close to the subway and bus stops. Also, it’s right in heart of the markets and shopping stores. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, had American and Korean delights.

The most memorable stay ever! I had an emergency procedure to be done in Seoul on the day of my check out. We had a pleasant stay at Metro Hotel Myeongdong. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Myeongdong and only about a 2-minute walk from the train station, which makes it super convenient for getting around Seoul.

The room is a little small, but it’s clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want convenience and easy access to shopping and food in the area.

Would definitely consider staying here again for short trips!

Location is incredible- the rooms are a bit aged but it is clean. I would have liked more power sockets (we found it hard to find available power sources and had to pull out the air purifier and desk lamp in order to charge our phones, watches, headphones etc.), but it’s a really small ‘issue’. The gym needs to be pre-booked and closes, which does require a bit of planning. The laundry options are useful as well but there’s only 1 washer and 1 dryer, so that also requires planning.

The staff were super helpful, having a 7-11 downstairs is GOLD, the location is so good and we loved the 2nd floor hangout space. Will be back!

Metro Hotel is one of cleanest hotels I've stayed at. The staff was excellent, nice, friendly, helpful, and really wonderful. Can't say enough nice things about this hotel. The lounge area and balcony was clean and a nice area to wait in. Only thing is I would like paper plates in the microwave area. But other than that definitely worth staying at!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The second floor was amazing. There was an eating and lounging area. There was a seperate door to go through and that area of the hotel was for families. There was even a small kitchen and play place for kids. Great for the patents and great for kids. Totally separated from the rest of the hotel.
And the food and shopping nearby is crazy !!! Hundreds upon hundreds of places to choose from.

This location is excellent situated in the heart of a vibrant area with numerous dining and shopping options all within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Courteous and friendly staff, provided good recommendation to our needs. Convenient location to subway, foods, and malls. We have a team of 5 and with 10 luggage’s, taxi arrangements in and out of hotel was easy. You will get special price package to get to the cable car and Seoul tower. The 2nd floor common area with water, microwave and etc is very usable for eating takeout food, morning trip planning, briefing and etc. will recommend friends and relative to this hotel.

Location was perfect, I wasn't aware at the time of booking but there's a night market at your doorstep when staying here, hundreds of street vendors and a very lively atmosphere. It was great being out all day and coming back to the hotel knowing that there was still going to be plenty of things to do and eat within walking distance.

Great hotel in a great location

Really comfortable hotel and lots of room to move around. Very conveniently located right in Myeongdong minutes away from the tourist shopping/eating spots and also from the Euljiro-1-ga station. Even though you're right in the middle of the action, the hotel is nice and quiet.

Check in was super quick and they allowed us to check in earlier with our infant. Friendly staff. No issues with noise. Great location. Lots of food and shopping options. Transport right around the corner and allows you to get to anywhere in the city very quickly. Will definitely stay again.

Hotel location was great right in the heart of Myeongdong and a short walk to bus and subway station. Room was a decent size and beds were comfortable. Bathroom and room (rug) floor were dated though. We took airport bus to the hotel and the drop off was only a few blocks away.

This was a perfect place to stay. It was right off the main roads, so it wasn’t loud, but it was convenient to all transportation and shopping. Room service cleaned the room every day and gave us complementary bottles of water. We were given umbrellas to borrow when it rained. The front desk was polite and patient and willing to converse in English to help us with any questions we had. If I was to go here again, I would have taken an Uber from the airport, Uber is super cheap. The bus was cheap and convenient too.

Property has non-refundable cancellation policy. If you have an emergency they won’t care at all, they will keep your money.
Rooms were very small. Bathroom have no place where to put toiletries for two people.

Had a great experience with this hotel. The location is great—tons of shopping and dining immediately outside the hotel and a 24 hour 7/11 inside on the first floor. The staff were also polite and extremely helpful. I had an issue with customs and they went above and beyond by working on my behalf to arrange pick-up of my goods when I flew out. Really can't say enough nice things about them. The room itself was big, comfortable, cleaned daily. Will 100% come back to this hotel next time I go to Korea.

Conveniently located

There is ample space in the room and rooms are clean. More importantly, it is conveniently located near the shopping area, so you can easily go back to your rooms to recharge after all the shopping. Not to mention that the train station is within walking distance too.

overall very good experience

the hotel has a big main entrance on the ground floor and the car can just stop right in front of the hotel. we do not have to lug our luggages to take the lift to another level for check in, unlike some other nearby hotels with tiny unobvious main entrance.

the check-in and check-out was very smooth. the staff are friendly and communication is without fuss.

we had 2 comfort twin rooms and managed to get adjacent rooms as requested. the room is big, size good for 4. everything is clean, no foul smell, all in working condition. the bathroom is also of comfortable size with warm shower. there is daily housekeeping too. there is also an area on the 2nd floor where we can have our packed meals together comfortably. the outdoor dining area is very comfortable too.

the hotel is conveniently located 2mins walk fm euljiro 1(il) ga station exit 5/6. city hall station, cheongyechon stream, myeongdong station and shopping area where food and shopping are abundent, are also just within walking distance away.

overall, we love Metro Hotel and will come back to it if we travel to Seoul again.
