Happy to be back at Fortune Korat.

First time back 3 years really happy to stay at Fortune Hotel again. Love the friendly and helpful staff.
On Saturday night wonderful cabaret and dining less than 2000bht including bottle of house wine.
And the beds are so comfortable!

Great place to stay in Korat

Really enjoying our stay here for 7 days. Staff are very good and it is clean and functional, with everything you need.
The breakfast is very good and a charming young lady cooks the eggs to order every morning.
The manager (don’t know his name) but he is a tall Thai guy and is a credit to the organisation. He is always engaging with the guests and leads by example - I have even seen him help clear litter in the car park. He obviously has high standards and will probably go far.
Hotel is in a good location, near the bus station and just across the road from terminal 21.

Under covid rule.

Difficult to rate with covid restrictions in place. Felt clean and secure and covid rules complied with. Like most hotels in these times lack of customers is affecting the industry and the devices that they can provide. But staff still able to smile and ask about your visit and could they help in anyway.

Under the current circumstances with the covid restrictions the hotel complied admirably with the constraints and made the stay very relaxing and pleasing. We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed its facilities and also its location in Korat is excellent.

Staff very helpful and would recommend the room service very reasonable. I have been away from the UK for over a year so to have fish and chips was great one night and the pizza the second night was also excellent. Both reasonably priced.

Welcome bathroom improvements

Glad to see that some modifications are being made, particularly in the bathrooms. Replacing bathtubs with walk-in showers is a welcome improvement. Service was great, especially from Jay-Jay in the restaurant. Will come back here if/when in Korat.

Good Clean Hotel

Good size room, clean and a good location close to Terminal 21 mall. The breakfast has a good selection. This is quite a large hotel but seems to be suffering from lack of customers, as I’ve been in it a few times and it’s always quiet. They seem to have given up with the pool as there are no sun loungers there either. Great value for money with low prices when other hotels in the area, that I’ve used, were more expensive than usual, but this was still very cheap.

The Rajpruek Hotel was super clean and conveniently located near Terminal 21 shopping mall on the main street. We have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. You cannot really walk from the hotel, as there is a major road out in front. On our stays, we had a private car, but taxis are cheap though there are not as many in Khorat as in BKK. The breakfast is good with both western and Asian options. We will definitely stay here again.

Charming hotel near Terminal 21 Korat

Great place to stay and a good central location. Good car park too. Only downsides the western breakfast selections are somewhat limited and the hotel WiFi is so slow that it is practically unusable. I gave up on it and used the 4G on my phone.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. Everything was still the same. Hotel room and toilet was clean. One downside was that fridge was not cooling/cold at all. Breakfast was awesome. Fast check in/out , staff still the same as professional and friendly ever. Location near to terminal 21 and to the old bus terminal 1. Hotel used to have a back entrance/passageway to behind streets but was locked are not accessible at all. Causes huge inconvenience as I have to walk one big round to access the food stalls located behind the hotel.

Fortune Hotel Korat Thailand

Will certainly stay there again when traveling or staying in Korat. Superb value for the money. Front desk staff on arrival wanted to see my departure card in my passport. I've been in 250 different hotels
in Thailand in the last 20 years. That was a first. They told me Thailand has a new law that hotels are to check the barcode on the departure card and report to the Police if a person who is wanted is there. I have asked every hotel I've been at since then and they all say they never heard of it. The breakfast is super expensive if you don't buy a room with it, currently 280 Thai baht per person. The laundrey service literally cost more than the USA laundry service. 61 dollars for what cost me 12 dollars at my next stop at Maneerote in Surin. But, the place is immaculately clean, the rooms and bathrooms are superb. And the elevator is fast. The WiFi is great. All staff and let's remember housekeeping, they are polite and do a great job. The front desk has English speakers that are clear and articulate in English. My departure card was not located but I stayed for nights anyhow. Terminal 21 is across the street. Don't miss the free Skydeck in Terminal 21, a 110 meter view of Korat at 360 degrees. I'll stay again as mentioned, I'll get my laundry done down the street. Thanks, great hotel.

Forutne Hotel Korat Best View Best Price

The front desk was looking through my passport at check in. Finally got the young lady explain to me that I needed a departure card with my passport. I've been in 250 Thai hotels the past twenty years, mostly 4 star a couple 5. Never heard that. She explains with much coaxing that the departure card has a bard code and there is a new law that states it can be check against a data base to locate wanted people or people who have vandalized hotels. Didn't have the card accessible, was able to stay. I didn't find a front desk employee paging entirely through my passport twice great. I have been in several hotels since we left there. Everyone else says they've never heard of that. I was at the Surin Police station filing a report for a missing bank book. My wife asked the officers there about that. They said they've heard of nothing like that. It may be true, but the Fortune front desk seems to be the only one to know between Korat, Bangkok, Surin, and Chiang Mai. I had purchased 2 separate beds with a city view. They quickly relocated us to the correct room on arrival. Everything else is perfect except THE LAUNDRY FEES ARE BEYOND RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. Cost more for laundry service there than I pay in America. FACT. Purchase the breakfast with your package or breakfast for two cost 1/3 the room rate. The staff, pool, room rate, cleanliness and view were PERFECT. Thank you Fortune Hotel in Korat.

Dinning room and breakfast is not managed well looks like no manager on duty
Food gets over and until not ask never comes out
Breakfast staff start setting for lunch or dinner at 0900 and with guest still have in breakfast on the tables
The breakfast is from 0630 till 1000 but at 0900 you feel that all want you to leave
Again small changes for better service and hotel

The hotel ia well situated re shopping, Teminal 21.We found crossing the road to the Terminal needed a lot of skill. The hotel itself has been revamped, they have spent a lot of money on the renovations. We booked a Executive suite it wa very comfortable and reasonably quiet. The only disappointment was the bathroom. I cannot understand why spend all this money on renovations and skimp on the bathroom? The breakfast was quiet good. Overall it was good however needs some improvements as per stated. I would maybe stay there again?

Lovely staff, hotel is clean. Very close to Terminal 21, Big C etc, etc. The only downside for me is the pool area didn’t get any direct sunlight so couldn’t top up my tan however I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well located. The room was fine. Check in process took a little longer than expected, but not a serious issue. Breakfast was disappointing as the spread was limited. The minibar was not stocked, which was surprising. Overall the stay was fine. The hotel is a good choice in Korat for the price, only some issues need to be addressed.

The Korat experience

A great location easy to find by car plenty of parking. A very reasonably priced hotel which would cost three times as much in Bangkok.
The room was spacious clean with a good view of Korat. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful and wanting to please. Will add to my hotels to stay at when in Korat.

Ten years before I was at Korat. Now I visited again and I was very happy. I had stayed at the same hotel then and I choose it now again because of the location. The hotel is better now and the the bed and pillows superd! Very good breakfast and food also. I think that they must remake the bathroom and toilet and also add international channels on TV. The personnel was very friendly and willing. I recommend this hotel, specially if you want to be near the center and to the biggest Mall. It's only 5 minutes walking from the new amazing mall called Terminal 21.

Not the right room i Paid for!

I booked a room with king size bed paid and all clear. But when arrive they are.fully booked. So i got another room with 2 smaller beds and not what i wanted or expect. After a 5 hour motorcycle drive i expected more from the hotel. Overall it old but its ok. Breakfast ordinary but all ok. Staff nice clean smell.good.

Super friendly Staff, very good service. We ordered standard room, but both got upgraded to each big corner room. Big windows with view of the City. Big comfy bed.

Downside: The rooms are a bit worn and the electrical system for lights were very tricky., had to press multiple times. Also very few and dim lights in a room with dark colors.

친구와 하루 묵었고 전반적으로 만족합니다. 코랏에 버스로 도착했고 터미널 21에서 내려서 걸어왔는데 정말 가까운 거리지만 도로가 별로라서 짐 있으신분은 택시 타세요. 직원 서비스도 괜찮고 얼리체크인도 해주십니다. 다만 아침에 복도에서 (6시부터 정오되어도 )음악이 나오는데 방에서도 크게 들려서 그게 좀 거슬려요. 화장실 하수구냄새 나고 시설은 노후했지만 대체적으로 편안합니다. 침구도 괜찮았어요. 방도 넓어서 좋았습니다.
