We really enjoyed the daily events they have for guests. We love music, and every night they had a show with music to dance. The Restaurants were excellent, especially the a la cart.
The staff was excellent but I want make a special comment about Jose our Concierge, he really impressed us and went above and beyond to make pur stay wonderful. He booked all or Dinners and kept us informed on the events for the day. Every time we approached him with questions, he was so nice and helped us. He is truly an excellent Concierge.
Also, the cheff Raul went above and beyond to prepare our Chilaquiles to our taste.
Bravo one of the Bell Boys was very helpful and nice.

We have stayed at the Palladium twice, the first trip was excellent. The second stay was less enjoyable. The room service was hit or miss. We were not impressed with the specialty restaurants. The food at the buffet was mediocre.. The grounds smelled like an outhouse in some areas there was a sewage discharge from the septic tank into the ocean just off the beach in the middle of the day .

Gracias a Hilda por todo la ayuda a la buffet! The hotel was great, except the food could use some work. My wife is Gluten Free and Vegetarian and the buffet was a little difficult to find food which wasn’t mixed with her allergens. But the staff, the room, the pool, the drinks, and everything else were great! Also shoutout to Lalo at the beach- he was very helpful for our surfing adventures.

Hotel que no cuenta con elevadores, me pareció que les hacía falta mucho personal, tanto para los restaurantes, como para los bares, la comida del bufete no estaba mal, pero tampoco estaba deliciosa, esperaba más opciones en los guisados, los restaurantes de las especialidades son buenos. Las piscinas estaban sucias, con espuma amarilla, noté esto, los 5 días que estuvimos hospedados. Por otro lado, en este hotel todos los días hay eventos, en un día nos tocó 2 bodas y sin personal...pues dejó mucho que desear en el servicio

Los menús muy bien , lamentable solo en el área de family 2 barras , hibalisna otras áreas de palladium y no nos servían las mismas bebidas, te hacían ir al área de family a servirte, la atención de los meseros en family excelente , los aires acondicionados del cuarto no enfriaban eran 11 habitaciones en total que vivamos en familia, los jacuzzi de los cuartos con agua sucia que salía muy mal mantenimiento en sus tuberías

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Grand Palladium Resort in Puerto Vallarta and would happily give it 5 stars! The entire property is beautiful and very well maintained—everything felt clean, fresh, and inviting from the moment we arrived.

One of the highlights for us was the beach. It’s large, spacious, and perfect for activities or just relaxing without feeling crowded. We also really appreciated how easy it was to find chairs both at the beach and around the pool—no stress or early-morning rush needed.

The staff truly made our experience special. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their positive attitude really added to the overall atmosphere of the resort.

The food was consistently good, with something for everyone. The fresh omelet station at breakfast is an absolute must-try! We also loved the snack bar by the main pool—great tacos and burgers that hit the spot during the day. Bamboo, the Japanese restaurant was amazing!

In the evenings, the entertainment was a pleasant surprise. The shows were fun and engaging, and even the kids’ shows were enjoyable for all ages. Add in the great drinks from the bar, and it made for perfect nights.

Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We had such a memorable time and will definitely be back!

Overall great property! Smaller compared to some of the larger AI resorts, but they did have a great division for family area vs adult area.
The adult area pool was amazing and had a great view of the ocean with a bar and washroom close by. The only complaint would be that there were no food options close by for lunch. (Family area had a small lunch buffet close by).
Staff are all amazing and friendly! Felt very safe and they are very accommodating.
Really loved the spa experience and massage! Check it out!
One complaint is that sports equipment rental for the beach was only open until 12pm. All padel boards and kayaks had to be returned by 12. This makes no sense since for many, they days activities are just starting.
Recommend dinning at the featured restaurants on site as well. The buffet was very good and had plenty of options, just the à la carte options are superior.
Not many late night options to \"party\", just one sports bar. Got the sense it's a very family oriented resort or reserved for a quiet week away with your significant other.

It happened to me by nine year-old daughter‘s birthday and they put a balloon in the room and made a special dessert for her in the day. The food was not the best but it was ok. The Nest was a great spot for all meals in The Family selection side. Nazly was excellent in helping me with dietary needs, as well as all staff there. It was family friendly as we had many small children with us and were very well taken care of. All staff from housekeeping to our butler were excellent. Our butler Josue went above and beyond picking up items for me in town. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. We had a great vacation.

This was our 3rd visit as a family to the Grand Palladium. We keep coming back for the beautiful beach, delicious food, and my kids love the water slides. For this visit, we decided to stay on the Family Selection side for the first time. We loved the à la carte dinner at the Nest restaurant and the pool side food available for lunch at the Family Selection pool. There is construction going on next to the Family Selection area which is why we got it at a discounted rate but the noise didn’t bother us at all, we couldn’t hear it from our room. My kids loved the activities every afternoon at the Family Selection kids club.
We ate at the buffet most days for breakfast and loved the crepes and omelettes! The huevos rancheros from the Nest was delicious for a change though. The adalita restaurant was a highlight as well.
The beach is the main draw of this property, it’s stunning. We loved using the boogie boards, paddle boards, and kayaks available. My only minor complaint is that I wish the staff enforced the “no seat saving” rule posted around the resort. My family would be the first ones at the beach every morning and we had no where to sit, every lounger was reserved even though no one else was at the beach. After a few days we were more comfortable with moving towels to the side and returning them when we left.
The staff at the Grand Palladium are warm, welcoming, and very helpful. A special shout out to Josué who was so great, gracias!
We hope to return again!

Our concierge Justo made sure we had reservations for all the restaurants and several sweet bonuses, including sparkling wine in our room. Highly recommend this resort for family fun- the shows are excellent, the beach is clean and beautiful, and the swim up bar keeps the parents happy ;)

We stayed at the Family Selection portion of the resort and the staff were so helpful. In particular, Josue from Expedia and Marianna, one of the concierges went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday special- decorated our room for him and had a birthday dessert set up for him at dinner. They were helpful at making dinner reservations for us every night.
We liked going to the Nest for breakfast, lunch and poolside snacks and drinks. This restaurant is only for the Family Selection guests.
La Bosque has everything you would want as a buffet style and was great for gelato in the afternoons. The fresh tortillas there were fantastic.
Our favourite booked restaurants were Las Terrazas (great Filet Mignon) and La Adelita (Mexican food). Great outdoor spots for supper, the staff were attentive and food selection was very good.
Our favourite spots for the day was on the beach- there were usually chairs near the Family Selection areas but if you wanted spots on the main beach, you needed to take towels down by 7:30.
The ocean entry is sandy by the lifeguard station so it was fun to play in the waves and borrow boogie boards (available all day) or stand up paddle boards ( between 9-12). We also took part in aquafit at the main pool a few days- it happens everyday at 12:00 and was fun.
The spa was nice and we treated ourselves to massages and hydrotherapy- very relaxing.
For entertainment- the Mariachi and the MexiCuba live bands were very good.

This was our 3rd time at this resort. I forgot just how amazing it is. We stayed in the family selection and loved the extra amenities. The private concierge was exceptional with the convience of all our dinner reservations being made in advance without consultation. They even ensured we dined with the other 2 families we were traveling with. Elias in the lobby bar was an amazing creatir of all things delicous, Carlos at the family selection pool was so attentive and even provided us special drinks. We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Palladium Vallarta and would absolutely return. It was perfect for a family vacation. The beach and ocean swimming were excellent, and one of the highlights of our trip was seeing so many whales right from the resort. There was also a great variety of pools for the kids, which kept everyone happy.

The staff were very friendly throughout our stay, and the food was amazing. We highly recommend upgrading to Family Selection — it was well worth it for our family. We ate most often at The Nest, which is available only to Family Selection guests, and it was a big part of what made our experience so enjoyable.

Overall, this resort was a fantastic choice for a family getaway, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Overall a pretty bad experience.
Our check-in was decent, but when we didn't want to go to the walk through where they sell there travel club package they called and text me multiple time around 8 am, waking us up multiple times, begging us to go.

The pools were so dirty you couldnt see the bottom of the pool the first half of our stay.

The a la carte restaurants were pretty gross. It took almost 30 mins for someone to come take drink/food orders, after that the food came pretty quick.
Service in the buffet was incredibly slow, we couldnt get our own drinks, and the food was poor quality.

The staff where mostly dismissive and rude, aside from a few quality/friendly bartenders, and the table staff in the patio side of the buffet were always very quick and friendly.

Many of the wedding party we were here with had mold in there rooms and far worse experiences than us, and overall the communication from the hotel to guests was horrible.

We wouldn't choose to come back again.

Buffet food was amazing! Portfino & Bam Boo restaurant also amazing. Mexican restaurant was my least favourite. Resort was very clean. It’s placed on the side of a cliff, emerged within beautiful foliage and trees. If you have mobility issues, I wouldn’t suggest, simply because it’s alot of walking on slight inclines everywhere & many many stairs. The beach is excellent. Great for snorkelling & boogy boarding. The resort is far enough of out town that you don’t get swamped with locals constantly tying to sell you stuff all day on the beach. It’s about 30km out of PV. If you have an excursions planned, give yourself about a hour to get to town when it’s busy. This was our second time staying here and I would absolutely come back. It’s beautiful!

We had a mixed experience at Grand Palladium (Family Selection).
First the good things:
1) Kids club. Friendly staff, great amenities, day programming and evening shows. My kids loved it
2) Amenities. Good mix of beach, quiet pool, general pool with slides/waterfalls and Family selection exclusive pool
3) Food safety. All food was prepared well and we never had any stomach issues

Now the bad things:
1) Food taste. The taste was more miss than hit, especially at Family Selection (Nest) which was supposed to be the premium offering
2) Gym. Old, stuffy, small.
3) Cleanliness. Pool chairs were dirty most of the time.
4) Construction. There is a large construction site adjacent to Family Selection creating a lot of noise and dust, making it hard to relax by the pool during the day

The room was spotless. The staff was courteous and friendly. However, I found there were a few amenities that were missing in the room one notable one the bath robes. There was also a scale missing so we could weigh ourselves. The other thing that was a little disappointing. The pillows in the room were actually very old and should be upgraded. Fresh pillows would be a pleasure unfortunately, the pillows provided a very poor sleeping experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Palladium Vallarta! Lots of stuff stood out. Yes clean rooms! We thought the food at the buffet was great. The omelette station and taco bar were a big hit. But what stood out was the staff. Everyone had a smile. As soon as we arrived we felt welcomed.
The beach was great. I know there hasn’t been a lot said about the snorkeling but I thought it was pretty good. We were lucky there was quite a few days where the waves were calm and the water cleared up. We saw lots of rays, saw a few turtles and even a couple of eels. That was straight out front of the beach. I felt pretty safe even a couple hundred metres out from the beach. All in all we would go back again. Thanks Grand Palladium!

The whole place was spotless! This was the first time we stayed on the family selection side of this resort. The E-family host Josue was amazing.We were herewith our family(14 people) to celebrate our 50 th anniversary. The E-family host decorated our room while we’re out for a special dinner. We were so surprised when we returned to find the room filled with balloons and a congratulations banner!He also booked all of our suppers at the specialty restaurants and help alert staff to our allergies and special diet needs. The staff at the restaurants(especially the Nest) were wonderful and I felt so safe eating here.

Rooms were very clean with the tightest tucked in bed sheets ever.

Fridge stocked with lots of water and other drinks frequently.
Beach was great as were the pickleball courts .
The food was good. Booking of restaurants was challenging but it worked out. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Th staff seemed to be having an off week or something. We showed up and no one greeted us. House keeping forgot to leave towels when they took the old ones. They left 2 beers a day in the room ( no other booze) and didn't leave any a couple days. Restaurant's were hit and miss with service and quality. The sports bar was not open until 4. The service was extremely slow. We left after 30 minutes one day. The food you ordered in the sports bar was good. They were re-doing a lot of the place - the beach bar was closed- painting the outside so we couldn't use our deck.
The hills were a lot. No elevators- be ready to walk a lot

Everything was excellent! An absolutely stunning beach, very clean and spacious resort with excellent staff. The food and drinks were AMAZING! I read some reviews that said the food wasn’t good and I was nervous, but I was more than happy every single day. I feel anyone complaining is either in the 1% of incomes and frequents high end bougie places or they are people who are just never happy lol. 10/10 would recommend this for down to earth middle class people looking for an all around great resort experience.

The hotel may need some updates, but the location and the staff make it worth your stay! The food was better than some of the more expensive resorts that I have stayed at. Seeing whales from the infinity pool was more than I had hoped for. The beach is a little rough for swimming, but if you're brave, you can make it work. I recommend this resort if you're looking to get away from the concrete, it's lush and green and the sunsets can't be beat.
